    kita cukup berhenti sampai di situ saja? Tentu saja tidak.

    Masih ada cara lain menurut Robbert yang bisa kita

    lakukan, yaitu find another channel, need more hits

    make it another way, and must have a good relationship

    with all of the people (include stakeholder, etc). Jadi,

    jangan putus asa ya.

    Extra session bersama Robbert pun dilanjutkan

    dengan diskusi lebih lanjut lagi mengenai materi yang

    telah disampaikan oleh Robbert sebelumnya. Di sini lah

    muncul berbagai pertanyaan dari para peserta seputar

    apa itu kurikulum, siapa saja yang termasuk ke dalam

    komponen kurikulum, bagaimana proses terjadinya

    curriculum diseases, sampai ke masalah penyebaran

    tenaga kesehatan yang tidak merata di Indonesia.

    Seiring dengan banyaknya pertanyaan yang datang dari

    para peserta, maka Robbert pun menjawab pertanyaan-

    pertanyaan tersebut dengan tak lupa pula memberikan

    gambaran kurikulum yang ada di negara asalnya, yaitu

    Belanda. Robbert mengatakan bahwa curriculum is

    everything that should happen in a teaching programme

    sehingga di dalamnya harus terdapat beberapa hal:

    content, learning outcomes; educational strategy

    (plan); teaching methods; dan assessment. Selain itu,

    dosen dan mahasiswa merupakan komponen yang

    cukup penting di dalam suatu kurikulum. Yang menjadi

    poin penting di dalam sesi diskusi ini adalah bahwa kita

    harus memahami terlebih dahulu dengan baik dan

    benar mengenai seluk beluk kurikulum, mulai dari

    pengertian, komponen sampai pada proses bagaimana

    suatu kurikulum itu diterapkan sebagai suatu

    acuan/pedoman dalam menjalankan kegiatan belajar

    mengajar di sebuah institusi sebelum kita ingin turut

    campur menangani segala permasalahan terkait

    kurikulum yang disebut sebagai curriculum diseases

    oleh Robbert. Dan yang paling penting untuk diketahui

    dan dipahami adalah bahwa 'curriculum diseases itu

    terjadi ketika komponen-komponen kurikulum

    melakukan suatu hal yang salah yang berujung pada

    timbulnya masalah di dalam kurikulum.

    Mungkin memang belum semua hal tentang kurikulum

    dibicarakan secara mendalam di extra sessions bersama

    Robbert ini. Akan tetapi, setidaknya kita sebagai mahasiswa

    mengerti dan paham tentang dasar-dasar kurikulum terlebih

    dahulu sehingga nantinya ketika kita ingin melakukan advokasi

    terkait dengan masalah-masalah kurikulum di institusi tempat

    kita menimba ilmu, kita tidak hanya asal protes ini itu kepada

    pimpinan institusi tanpa ada basic pengetahuan yang kuat.

    Yuk, mulai dari sekarang kita coba untuk lebih peka dan

    peduli terhadap masalah-masalah yang ada di dalam sistem

    pendidikan kita yang salah satunya adalah kurikulum, di mana

    kurikulum inilah yang menjadi dasar acuan/pedoman kita

    dalam melakukan kegiatan pembelajaran di institusi kita

    masing-masing. Tidak ada salahnya bukan, kita mencoba

    untuk menerapkan langkah-langkah yang sudah disampaikan

    oleh Robbert? Mulai dari mencari orang-orang yang punya

    interest yang sama dengan kita di bidang pendidikan

    (education freaks), lalu bentuk sebuah kelompok, dan mulai

    menganalisa semua informasi yang sudah kita dapatkan. Dan

    jangan lupa, kalau langkah tadi gagal, jangan putus asa! Coba

    cari channel yang lain, lalu temukan cara lain yang

    memungkinkan kita untuk bisa masuk ke channel tersebut,

    dan bangun hubungan baik dengan semua orang, termasuk

    para pemangku kebijakan (stakeholders). Satu hal lagi yang

    paling penting untuk diketahui dan diingat: If we want to

    advocate, we have to know about 'legal document' first

    karena itu bisa membuat opini kita dipandang sebagai suatu

    beautiful package sehingga dapat didengar dan diterima

    oleh para stakeholders.

    Dari hasil umpan balik tersebut didapatkan juga sesi yang paling disukai oleh

    peserta, sebanyak 52% peserta memilih sesi SWG menjadi sesi favorit. Alasannya? Peserta

    berpendapat bahwa mereka lebih menyukai sesi dengan komunikasi dua arah dimana

    mereka dapat bertukar pikiran dan dapat mengidentifikasi masalah di pendidikan profesi

    mereka dan profesi lain. Sedangkan sesi yang paling tidak diminati oleh peserta sebanyak

    46% adalah Plenary Session yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 4 Desember 2011 di Bali

    International Convention Center. Menurut mereka, waktu yang diberikan untuk bertanya

    kurang dan tidak ada komunikasi dua arah antar pembicara dan peserta. Sesi pleno juga

    sepertinya dirasa agak membosankan bagi mayoritas peserta, terbukti dari meningkat

    drastisnya jumlah kursi kosong setelah makan siang.

    Untuk HPEQ Project termasuk terkait HPEQ Student, peserta memberi berbagai

    macam saran. Bagi mereka, perlu publikasi dan sosialisasi lebih gencar mengenai kegiatan

    HPEQ Project ini. Selain itu sekitar 30% responden juga menginginkan proyek ini dapat

  • Good results have been shown in several countries

    after applying such curriculum in their universities. For example,

    nine medical schools in the US report that 75% of their graduates

    posses great ability in public health and public policy including to

    formulate smoking policy (Powers et.al., 2004). Pharmacists in

    the US who experienced anti-smoking curriculum training in

    universities are more likely to counsel four or more patients per

    month than pharmacist who didn't (Hudmon). In Japan, the

    smoking rate among dental students decreased significantly

    from 35% in 2003 to 26% in 2006 (Haresaku et.al.,2010).

    Smoking remains big problem for our country, we have

    to stop it. We can start the change from the large number of

    health sciences' students in Indonesia. It can certainly be a good

    opportunity to make great change to reduce smoking. With anti-

    smoking curriculum, they will improve their knowledge thus

    hopefully they will stop smoking.Therefore, interprofessional

    health education of anti-smoking is essential in order to make

    health students stop smoking and make Indonesians stop

    smoking.
