Abstrak
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis, merancang, serta mengimplementasikan konferensi video berbasis web di BPPT. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu dengan menganalisis jaringan BPPT serta kebutuhan di BPPT, merancang konferensi video berbasis web, dan mengimplementasikannya dengan merancang jaringan WAN BPPT (Thamrin-Serpong) yang mendukung aplikasi konferensi video berbasis web, yang kemudian diambil karakteristik trafik seperti bandwidth dan delay untuk mengetahui seberapa besar bandwidth yang dibutuhkan serta delay yang terjadi. Hasil penelitian ini disimulasikan dengan perangkat lunak simulator OPNET. Simpulan yang didapat dari hasil penelitian ini bahwa secara teknis jaringan BPPT telah siap menggelar konferensi video berbasis web karena dilihat dari bandwidth yang mencukupi serta delay yang kecil pada jaringan WAN BPPT, serta didukung dengan spesifikasi komputer yang cukup mendukung dalam melakukan konferensi video berbasis web. menyelesaikan jenjang strata-1 (S1) pada Jurusan Teknik Informatika di Universitas
