ABSTRAK

Latar belakang : Nodul tiroid merupakan kelainan yang sangat sering ditemukan. Dalam suatu survey populasi besar, yang dilakukan Farmingham di Eropa tahun 2001, 6,4 % wanita dan 1,5 % pria dengan nodul tiroid. Proses inflamasi pada kelenjar tiroid mengakibatkan ditemukannya infiltrasi limfosit yang dapat menurunkan daya biosintesis sehingga mengakibatkan hipotiroid jangka panjang contoh Hashimoto disease (Wiseman, 2011). Berglund, dkk (2011) menyatakan bahwa 33 % pasien dengan infiltrasi limfosit mengalami hipotiroid paska operasi dibandingkan dengan hanya 4% pasien tanpa atau minimal infiltrasi limfosit yang menjadi hipotiroid paska operasi. Metode Penelitian : Penelitian dilakukan pada 40 pasien pasca isthmulobektomi di RSUP. H. Adam Malik Medan sejak Januari 2010 - Desember 2013. Data kemudian ditampilkan dengan menggunakan distribusi frekuensi dan persentase untuk mengetahui hubungan antara infiltrasi limfosit pada kelenjar tiroid dengan kejadian hipotiroid pada pasien pasca istmulobektomi di RSUP. ABSTRACT

Background : Thyroid nodules is a neoplasm of endocrine system that most common happen in the world. Big population research at Farmingham Europe 2001 had founded 6,4% woman and 1,5 % man had thyroid nodules. Inflammation process at tiroid gland have been effected found limfositic infiltration which can decrease biosintesis process until have been made hipotiroid long stage , example hashimoto tiroiditis disease (Wiseman, 2011). Berglund at all (2001) declarated that 33% patients with limfositic infiltration have hipothyroid pasca lobectomy divided by only 4 % patients without or minimal limfositic infiltration became hypothyroid pasca istmulobectomy.
