CONCLUSIO:'

The analysis of this thesis is that narrative deconstruction helps to understand

about deconstruction in Angels and Denwns novel. And also the v.Titerquite knows

about deconstruction further and the writer totally llicderstands the whole content of

Angels and Demons noveL The v.Titernot only analyzes the novel through deconstruction,

but also does textual analysis such asplotandsetting. Inplot, the writer analyzes exposition,

conflict, complication, climax and resolution. Meanwhile in setting, the v..'!'iteranalyzes

physicalsetting and social setting. So the writer concluded that plot in Angels and

Denwns is interesting and outstanding. Even though we are confused at first we read it,

during the exposition, however the conflict and complication are clearer,

challenging and interesting. And the climax is very clear beeause the mainproblem is

solved clearly. And one more thing, the resolution is very good because it is happy

ending where Vittoria and Langdon love each other.

And the 11l.!1Tative deconstruction is also interesting in Angels andDemons

because obviously narrative deconstruction can be seen in Angels andDemons novel.

Difforance, supplement a.':ld deconstruction in that novel are clearly discussed. In

difforance there are two elements, difference anddeferral.

At,gels and Demons novel, the difforence in this novel is when Camerlengo Carlo

Ventresca and Leonardo Vetra have different characteristics and Camerlengo makes him

murdered. And also the deforral in t.llls novel is when Robert Langdon and Vittoria Vetta go

to Vatican City to find the murdererof

Leonardo Vetra but they face other problems that they have to. So th.e main

problem, the murderer of Leonardo Vetra, is postponed. Thesupplementhas two

elements markandsubstitution. TI1e markinAngels and demons novel is when

Vetra goes to Vatican City to tell a Pope and Camerlengo about his research. And

thesubstitution is when Ca1nerlengo goes back to Vatican City to tell the Pope

about Vetra's research. And the last is deconstruction that has two elements such as

effacement and trace. The effacement in this nov.e! is started when Camerlengo

tells the Pope about Vetra's research and the Pope agrwithhis research and

wants to donate much money for him. The trace in this novel is when Langdon and

Vittoria take a rest in hotel Bernini and they fall in love with each other. The writer

thinks if the readers read the writer's paper, they will quite understand about the

deconstruction and the whole content of this noveL So it is not only helpful for the

readers who arc eager to k,.'1ow more detail aboutAngels andDemonlb.novel, but

also to know about deconstruction.
