Controversial Red Hill Expressway opens with Six Nations flair By Duane Rollins Writer HAMILTON- -Saturday was a day of mixed emotions for Rick Hill.
The ecological and cultural coordinator for the Red Hill Valley Joint Stewardship Project was happy to see Six Nations represented as equal partners with Hamilton at the opening of the contentious Red Hill Valley Expressway.
But, still, there was a sense of loss, he said. "It's hard to miss that expressway," Hill said. "I didn't get a chance to
experience the valley much in its original state and it will never be the same again." (Continued on page 4)
