RINGKASAN
99,2% mendekati bakteri Lactobacillus paracasei.
Kata Kunci : Feses bayi, bakteri asam laktat, anaerob, anti mikroba
SUMMARY
The aim of this research was to isolate, identify and to characterize anaerobic lactic
acid bacteria isolated from infant feces which have capability to produce
antimicrobial compound. Explorative descriptive method was in this experimental
work. From infant feces who consumed only ASI, 5 isolates of lactic acid bacteria
confering antimicrobial activity were succesfully isolated. Further identification using
API 50 C HL test kit showed that all 5 isolates were Lactobacillus paracasei with
percentage identity 99,2%.
Key Word : Infant feces, lactic acid bacteria, anaerobic, antimicrobial
