Thesecondmethod,orvalidationtest,requireddataaccumulated fromtheonboardE-catsystem,whichmonitored fuelconsumption, idletime,drivespeed,load,andotherpertinentdatanecessary tomonitorfuelconsumptionaccurately.
Thecombinedtestfleetrealizeda8.5%improvement inenginefuelefficiencywiththeCarbonMassBalanceevaluationutilizingtheonboardcomputerized E-catdata,afterAR6200.Thesameenginesexperienceda26%reductioninparticulatedensity(smokereduction)withsimilarreductionsinallother

Thecombinedfleettestrealizeda9%improvement infuelefficiencywiththeCarbonMassBalanceprocedure,afterinstallingAR6200.Thesameenginesexperienceda28%reduction inparticulatedensity(smokereduction),withsimilarreductions inotherharmfulemissions.
