Ikan buntal secara umum dipercayai sebagai vertebrata paling beracun kedua di dunia setelah Katak Racun Emas. Organ-organ dalam seperti hati dan kadang kulit mereka sangat beracun bagi sejumlah hewan jika dimakan.Ikan ini hidup di perairan tropis . Ikan Buntal memiliki kebiasaan yang unik yaitu dapat menggembungkan tubuhnya dengan menelan udara. Ini merupakan mekanisme pertahanan ikan buntal jika terancam oleh predatornya. Tujuannya menggembungkan diri agar tubuhnya terlalu besar sehingga tidak bisa di telan oleh predatornya.The Blowfish is generally believed to be the second most poisonous vertebrate in the world after the Golden Poison Frog. Internal organs such as the liver and sometimes their skin is very toxic to some animals if eaten.The Blow fish are live in tropical waters. Blowfish has a unique habit that can inflate his body by swallowing air. This is a defense mechanism of Blowfish if threatened by predators. The goal is self-inflating too big for his body so it can not swallow by predators.
