Purpose of Back-to-School Night

◦ We are excited to be back in school during this unique and different

school year.

◦ Typically in my classroom, I will follow the pacing guide for 2nd-5th grade. Your child's curriculum will be based on their specific grade level abilities. We

will follow the SOL and ASOL standards.

◦ We will also build vocabulary, fluency, and stamina for Reading. Your child can work on this activity at home as well. They can help build stamina by

reading for 30 minutes a day.

Mrs. Holden and Mrs. Arevalo's Classroom

Learning (SOLs) Objectives and

the Aligned Standards of Learning
