(Continuation from Page 1)

The package of new mega projects represents one of Bahrain’s most signif-

icant ever injections of capital investment to enhance financial sustainability and economic sta-bility as the Kingdom is well on its way out of the pandemic.

The Economic Recovery Plan comprises 22 signature projects across key sectors, including telecoms, tourism, education, housing, manufacturing, health and youth and sports.

Among the most prominent projects is the creation of five cities situated on newly con-structed islands, increasing Bah-rain’s total land area by more than 60%.

The new cities are Fasht Al Jarim, Suhaila Island, Fasht Al

Adham, Bahrain Bay and Hawar Islands.

Fasht Al Jarim, the largest city, will span 183km2 providing a residential, logistics, and tour-ism hub that will house a new airport.

The new 25km, four-lane King Hamad Causeway will facilitate cross border trade and travel with Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC, and strengthen political, strategic, economic, and cultural ties.

Within Bahrain, a new metro system will offer travel choice, reduce congestion, and contrib-ute to the Kingdom’s plans to achieve net zero.

The metro network of over 109 kms will connect all major

population hubs in the coun-try. The 20-station first phase of the metro will run from Bahrain International Airport to the res-idential and commercial area of Seef, linking both to Manama and the Diplomatic Area.

Transport connectivity will be complemented by technology investment in land and sea fiber optics, connecting all regions of the Kingdom and enhancing competitiveness.

Next generation cloud-com-puting services will be support-ed by significant investment in several new data centre projects.

The building of “Sports City”, a complex that will house the largest sports stadium in Bah-rain and a multi-purpose indoor

sports arena making the King-dom a centre for events, leisure, and sport.

Additionally, the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre will be the largest “Conference City” in the Middle East and “Tourist City”, a series of resorts in the south-west of Bahrain, will enhance the Kingdom’s status as a global visitor destination.

The new projects announced under the Strategic Projects Plan will build upon the Kingdom’s 2015 infrastructure plan that de-livered the new Bahrain Interna-tional Airport terminal, ALBA’s Line 6 expansion project, and the AB-4 Pipeline.

Bold ambition

Following the announcement of the new multi-year develop-ment projects’ details, Finance

Apple files lawsuit against NSO Group, saying US citizens were targetsReuters

Apple Inc said on Tuesday it has filed a lawsuit against

Israeli cyber firm NSO Group and its parent company OSY Technologies for alleged sur-veillance and targeting of US Apple users with its Pegasus spyware. The iPhone maker said it is also seeking to ban NSO

Group from using any Apple software, services or devices to prevent further abuse.

Apple is the latest in a string of companies and governments to come after NSO, the maker of the Pegasus hacking tool that watchdog groups say target-ed human rights workers and journalists. Earlier this month, US officials placed the company

on a trade blacklist. NSO has also faced either legal action or criticism from Microsoft Corp, Meta Platforms Inc, Alphabet Inc and Cisco Systems Inc.

NSO is allegedly involved in circumventing security for products made by these com-panies and selling that circum-vention in the form of hacking tools to foreign governments.

News in brief u Germany will enable multiple citizenship and simplify the process of acquiring German nationality, according to a coalition deal yesterday. “As a rule, naturalization should be possible after five years, with special integration achievements after three years,” the document said. The current time requirement for naturalization is eight years which could be cut to six years in special integration cases, the agreement said.

u Apple Inc issued yesterday alert messages to at least six Thai activists and researchers who have been critical of the government, warning it believed their iPhones had been targeted by “state-sponsored attackers”, according to activists and the alerts reviewed by Reuters. Apple and Thailand’s Digital Ministry did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Prajak Kongkirati, a political scientist at Bangkok’s Thammasat University, said he had received two

emails from Apple warning it believed his iPhone and iCloud accounts had been targeted, along with a “threat notification” on his Apple account.

u European Union ambassadors approved the renewal of sanctions on four Chinese officials and one Chinese entity on Wednesday as part of an extension of a human rights blacklist, two diplomats said. The decision, which will formally be adopted early next month, puts in jeopardy a Chinese-EU investment agreement signed in late December 2020. The EU added the four Chinese officials, including a top security director, to its sanctions list in March over accusations of human rights abuses in China’s Xinjiang region. Beijing responded with its own sanctions on Europeans.

u Lebanon has yet to give the IMF its estimate of losses in the financial system as discussions on the issue continue, but is working hard to sign a memorandum of understanding with the Fund by year-end, governor Riad Salameh said on Tuesday. Disagreements in Lebanon over the size of the losses and how they should be distributed torpedoed IMF talks last year. The central bank, banks and political elite rejected figures set out in a government plan that was endorsed by the IMF at the time. The issue has obstructed attempts to chart a way out of the crisis that has devastated Lebanon since 2019, sinking the currency by more than 90%, causing poverty to skyrocket and leading many Lebanese to emigrate.

UAE holds talks with Taliban to run Kabul airport - foreign diplomats• UAE bid competing against Qatar, Turkey - sources

• Kabul airport gives influence in Afghanistan

• UAE maintained some ties with Taliban - sources

Reuters | Dubai

The United Arab Emirates has held talks with the Tal-iban to run Kabul airport,

according to four sources with knowledge of the matter.

UAE officials have held a series of discussions with the group in recent weeks to discuss operating the airport that serves as land-locked Afghanistan’s main air link to the world, the foreign diplo-mats based in the Gulf region told Reuters.

The Qataris have been helping run the Hamid Karzai Interna-tional Airport along with Tur-key after playing a major role in evacuation efforts following the chaotic US withdrawal in August, and have said they are willing to take over the operations.

Yet the Taliban has not yet for-malised an arrangement with Qa-tar, the four diplomats said.

A senior Emirati foreign min-istry official said the UAE, which previously ran Kabul airport during the US-backed Afghan re-public, “remains committed to continuing to assist in operating” it to ensure humanitarian access and safe passage.

Abu Dhabi also aided recent evacuation efforts.

The Taliban and Qatari authori-ties did not respond to request for comment.

Two of the diplomats said the Taliban has also sought financial assistance from the UAE, though they added it was not clear if this was related to the airport discus-sions.

The Emirati foreign ministry

official, Sa-lem Al Zaa-bi, director of interna-tional se-curity co-operation, did not re-spond to a question on whether the UAE was considering providing financial help to the Taliban.

Airport intelligence One key issue that’s still to be

resolved between the Taliban and potential airport operators is who would provide security at the site, the four diplomats said. The Tal-

iban say they do not want foreign forces in the coun-try following their return to power af-ter two dec-ades of war.

Still, Qatari special forces are presently providing se-curity within

the airport’s perimeter, the dip-lomats added, while Taliban spe-cial forces were patrolling areas outside.

So far countries have been re-luctant to formally recognise the Taliban’s government, accusing the group of backtracking on pledges to uphold the rights of women and minorities.

Yet Qatari officials have urged greater international engage-ment with the Taliban to prevent impoverished Afghanistan from falling into a humanitarian cri-sis. Gulf states have also voiced concern that the US withdrawal would allow al Qaeda to regain a foothold in Afghanistan.

While there is little commercial benefit for any operator, the air-port would provide a much-need-ed source of intelligence on move-ments in and out of the country, according to the four diplomats, who said that since the withdraw-al many countries have lacked real-time information.

The UAE has maintained ties with the Taliban too, according to two of the diplomats. They said the country had been home to some members of the group in recent years, including Sher Mo-hammad Abbas Stanikzai, who they added lived in the Sharjah emirate with his family from at least 2013. Stanikzai is now dep-uty foreign minister in the Taliban administration.

Al Zaabi did not respond to questions on the UAE’s relation-ship with Stanikzai. The Taliban did not immediately respond to queries on Stanikzai living in the UAE.

The Taliban said this month that the UAE had reopened its embassy in Kabul. The UAE has not commented.

Children at lower risk from COVID, vaccines should go to poor - WHO

• WHO issues guidance on vaccination of children, adolescents

• Says youth at lower risk of severe COVID than adults

• Obesity, asthma and heart disease are risk factors for children

• Rare cases of myocarditis in young men after mRNA vaccines

Reuters | Geneva

As children and adolescents are at lower risk of severe

COVID-19 disease, countries should prioritise adults and shar-ing vaccine doses with the CO-VAX programme to bring supplies to poorer countries, the World Health Organisation said yester-

day. Some rare cases of heart in-flammation called myocarditis have been reported in younger men who received vaccines based on mRNA technoloy - Pfizer Bi-oNtech and Moderna - but these

were generally mild and respond-ed to treatment, it said.

Although that risk had not been fully determined, it was less than the risk of myocarditis linked to SARS-CoV-2 infection, it said.

The WHO’s interim guidance was issued as more regulatory agencies authorise certain vac-cines for use in children, includ-ing the United States, China, Eu-ropean Union, India and Israel, and most recently Canada last week. “As children and adoles-cents tend to have milder disease compared to adults, unless they are in a group at higher risk of severe COVID-19, it is less urgent to vaccinate them than older peo-ple, those with chronic health conditions and health workers,” the WHO said.

Children can experience “long COVID-19” with prolonged symp-toms but this was still under in-

vestigation, it said.Several risk factors for severe

COVID-19 in children have been reported including older age, obe-sity and pre-existing conditions including type 2 diabetes, asthma and heart disease, it added.

Maintaining education for all school-aged children should be an important priority during the pandemic, although transmission mitigation measures might be needed in schools, the WHO said.

Given vaccine supply con-straints, immunisation pro-grammes should focus on protect-ing groups at high risk of hospital-isation and death, the WHO said.

“As many parts of the world face extreme vaccine shortages, countries with high coverage in at-risk populations should prior-itize global sharing of COVID-19 vaccines before vaccinating chil-dren, adolescents,” it said.

France backs Poland over Belarus but warns EU row not over

• Macron backs Poland on border but raises rule of law row

• Polish PM says discussed toughening sanctions on Minsk

• Ukraine holds drills near Belarus border

• HRW says Belarus, Poland share blame for migrant suffering

• Poland reports renewed crossing attempts overnight

Reuters | Paris/Warsaw

France assured Poland of Eu-ropean Union support in its

stand-off with Belarus yester-day, but reminded Warsaw it needed to resolve a row with the bloc over its values and the rule of law.

Polish Prime Minister Ma-

teusz Morawiecki met French President Emmanuel Macron as part of a diplomatic effort to ral-ly support for a tough response to what European Commission chief Ursula von der Leyen called an attempt by Belarus to use migrants to destabilise the European Union.

While Macron reaffirmed his solidarity with Poland, he reit-erated concerns over the rule of law and “called on the Polish

government to find a solution that safeguarded the core val-ues of the European Union,” his office said.

With thousands of people fleeing the Middle East and other hotspots stranded on the EU’s eastern border, Poland, Lithuania and Latvia are on the front line of what the EU says is a crisis engineered by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.

He has denied EU allegations that Belarus has flown mi-grants into the country and then pushed them across EU borders.

At the same time, Brussels is locked in a long-running dispute with Warsaw over the inde-pendence of Poland’s judiciary, press freedoms and LGBT rights.

The row came to a head in Oc-tober when a Polish court ruling questioned the supremacy of EU law, which was seen in Brussels as a challenge to the bloc’s unity and stoked fears that Poland could eventually leave.

Morawiecki, who visited Bu-dapest and Zagreb on Tuesday, was due in Slovenia, which holds the EU rotating presiden-cy, later on Wednesday and to meet Germany’s acting Chan-cellor Angela Merkel on Thurs-day and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Friday.

“The prime minister is now talking to the EU leaders, starting with Paris, President Macron, to keep the unity of the European Union ... and be prepared for further actions,” Polish Deputy Foreign Min-ister Marcin Przydacz told Reuters.

Russia and Ukraine both step up military alert• Russia holds drills in Black Sea, Ukraine near Belarus

• Moscow says conventional, nuclear forces need to be combat-ready

Reuters | Moscow/Kyiv

Russia staged military drills in the Black Sea, south of

Ukraine, yesterday and said it needed to sharpen the com-bat-readiness of its conventional and nuclear forces because of heightened NATO activity near its borders.

Ukraine, which with its ally the United States has said it be-lieves Russia may be preparing an invasion, staged exercises of its own near the border with Belarus.

The United States and NATO have signalled their backing for Ukraine in ways that Moscow considers provocative, includ-ing through warship manoeu-vres this month in the Black Sea and a delivery of U.S. patrol boats to the Ukrainian navy.

British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss told Reuters on Wednes-day it would be “a grave mistake from Russia” to attack Ukraine.

Russian fighter planes and ships practiced repelling air

attacks on naval bases and re-sponding with air strikes during military drills on Wednesday in the Black Sea, Interfax reported.

Separately, the news agency quoted Defence Minister Ser-gei Shoigu as saying the need for Russia to further develop its armed forces was dictated by “the complicated military and political conditions in the world and the growing activity of NATO countries near Russia’s borders”.

He said raising the armed forces’ capabilities, supporting the combat readiness of nuclear forces and strengthening the potential of non-nuclear deter-rence were among the priorities.

Shoigu on Tuesday com-plained that US bombers had rehearsed a nuclear strike on Russia from two different di-rections earlier this month and complained that the planes had come too close the Russian border, drills the Pentagon said had adhered to international protocols.

German parties set to announce coalition deal to end Merkel era• Three parties reach a coalition deal in Germany

• Olaf Scholz close to taking over as chancellor

Reuters | Berlin

Social Democrat Olaf Scholz was preparing to take over as

German chancellor after agreeing

a coalition deal yesterday that aims to modernise Europe’s larg-est economy, accelerate its green

transition and bring the curtain down on the Angela Merkel era.

The centre-left Social Demo-

crats (SPD) said they would pres-ent their three-way agreement with the ecologist Greens and the libertarian Free Democrats (FDP) at a news conference at 3 p.m. (1400 GMT) in Berlin following two months of talks.

The deal will install Germany’s first three-way federal coalition government since the 1950s and end 16 years of Merkel-led con-servative government, marking a new era for relations with Europe and the rest of the world.

The alliance - named a traf-fic light coalition after the three parties’ respective colours - has a majority in the lower house of parliament and hopes the govern-ment will be sworn in early next month after the parties ratify the coalition pact.

It faces immediate challenges, with Germany tackling its worst COVID-19 surge yet and Europe grappling with the fallout from Brexit and a crisis on the EU’s border with Belarus.

Iran’s top nuclear negotiator holds talks in UAE Reuters | Dubai

Iran’s top nuclear negotiator Ali Bagheri Kani met with senior Emirati officials yes-

terday during a visit to the Unit-ed Arab Emirates, state news agency WAM reported, in a rare visit that comes as Abu Dhabi moves to reduce tensions with Tehran.

WAM said Bagheri Kani, who is Iran’s deputy foreign minister, met with the diplomatic adviser to the UAE president, Anwar Gargash, and Emirati minister of state for foreign affairs Khal-ifa Shaheen Almarar.

The discussions stressed the importance of strengthening relations “on the basis of good neighbourliness and mutual respect”, working for greater regional stability and prosper-ity and developing bilateral

economic and commercial ties, WAM said.

The visit comes ahead of the expected resumption of talks

between global powers and Iran in Vienna on Monday to try to revive a 2015 nuclear pact, which Gulf states have criticised

for not addressing Tehran’s mis-sile programme and regional proxies.

Gargash earlier this month said that the UAE was taking steps to de-escalate tensions with Iran.

Senior Iranian and Gulf offi-cials told Reuters last week that a top UAE delegation would visit Tehran soon.

US President Joe Biden wants to negotiate a return to compli-ance with the nuclear deal that his predecessor Donald Trump quit in 2018, re-imposing sanc-tions. Iran, which denies pursu-ing nuclear weapons, responded by resuming building its stock-pile of enriched uranium.

Saudi Arabia launched direct talks with Iran in April. Riyadh has described the talks as “cor-dial” but said they remained largely exploratory.

Sandra Bullock says she wants her daughter to be President of the United States one dayANI | Washington

Oscar winner Sandra Bullock recently discussed parenting

advice and her dreams for her daughter Laila.

In an interaction with People (the TV Show!), Bull-ock told the host Jeremy Parsons that she has high hopes for her daughter Lai-la, and isn’t afraid to share them.

One of those dreams, which the ‘Bird Box’ actor shared was “just a fact,” was that her 8-year-old daughter “is going to be President of the United States!”

B u l l o c k further joked that she is “go-ing to be at the White House,” adding that “I’m going to be do-ing some redec-orating!”

Asian Football Federation U18 Boys Championship 2021

• Bahrainis drop to third in Group A with three points from three matches, play one final game on Sunday against Yemen

• Jordan, Lebanon currently lead Group B with three points apiece

TDT | Manama

Bahrain were held by Kuwait to a 1-1 draw last night in the second

West Asian Football Federation (WAFF) U18 Boys Championship 2021, currently being played in the Iraqi city of Basra.

Team captain Mubarak Mo-hammed was on target for the nationals in the first half but they then conceded an equaliser with a quarter-hour remaining in regular time.

The stalemate was the first for the Bahrainis in three matches. They had previously beaten Pal-estine 2-1 before losing to hosts Iraqis 0-4.

They now play one final game in Group A on Sunday against Yemen.

Bahrain head coach Adel Al

Nuaimi started the match with a first 11 that included Moham-med, goalkeeper Mohammed Arhama, Mohammed Al Bannai,

Sayed Mahmood Almosawi, Ali Al Bouzaid, Abdulla Al Khalasi, Hashem Loay, Sayed Ali Hus-sain, Salem Al Dosari, Musta-fa Mohammed and Abdulla Al Subaie.

Mo h a m m e d s c o re d t h e match’s opening goal with a wonder strike for Bahrain in the 45th minute. The talented youngster fired in a free-kick from more than 40 yards out. His powerful left-footed effort went straight to the top-right corner of the net, leaving the opposing goalkeeper no chance.

Mo h a m m e d ’s g o a l w a s enough to give the Bahrainis the slim lead heading into the half-time break.

In the 76th minute, however, the nationals handed the Ku-waitis a penalty after Fahad Al Azmi was brought down in the penalty area.

Al Azmi picked himself up and stepped forward to take the spot kick, scoring to the left of goal with the Bahraini keeper guessing the wrong way.

In yesterday’s other Group A match, Palestine defeated Yem-en 2-0 for their first win. The Yemenis suffered their second loss.

Three-time European cham-pions United went into their first game since sacking Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at the week-end needing a win to confirm a top-two finish in Group F.

But they were under massive pressure as defeat would have left their fate out of their own hands.

David de Gea made two cru-cial saves and United, with Michael Carrick in caretaker charge, took advantage through Ronaldo’s 78th-minute lob.

Jadon Sancho, so often a peripheral figure since his big-money move from Borussia Dortmund in the close-season, capped a fine individual display with his first goal for the club late on.

“It’s not an important result for me personally. It’s an impor-tant one for the players and the club,” said Carrick.

Ronaldo’s goal was the 799th of his career, his 140th in the Champions League and his sixth in the competition this season.

The other qualification spot in the group remains up for grabs after Young Boys and At-alanta played out a thrilling 3-3 draw in Bern.

Late goals from Vincent Sier-ro and Silvan Hefti gave the Swiss champions a 3-2 lead, but Luis Muriel struck in the 88th

minute for the visitors.Atalanta face a winner-takes-

all match against Villarreal in Bergamo next month.

Chelsea thrash Juve Chelsea romped into the last

16 and to the top of Group H with an impressive 4-0 thrash-ing of Juventus at Stamford Bridge.

Thomas Tuchel’s men knew that qualification would be se-cured if they could avoid de-feat or if Zenit Saint Petersburg failed to beat Malmo.

The Blues dominated the early stages and took the lead through young defender Trevoh Chalobah’s third goal of the sea-

son.Chelsea’s defenders were

consistently a menace from set-pieces, and Thiago Silva saw a header saved by Wojciech Szczesny early in the second period.

It was a defender who dou-bled Chelsea’s lead in the 56th minute.

England right-back Reece James hammered a fine volley into the bottom corner to net for the fifth time already this term.

Chelsea grabbed their third goal less than two minutes lat-er, Ruben Loftus-Cheek prod-ding the ball to Hudson-Odoi, who smashed home from close range.

There was still time for Timo Werner, making his first appear-ance since an injury layoff, to come off the bench and score in added time.

“We did really well, it is so tough to score goals against Juventus and we created so much,” said Tuchel. “Full cred-it for an amazing performance

and a fantastic result.”Zenit drew 1-1 with Malmo

to secure a spot in the Europa League knockouts.

Barcelona stutter Barcelona were held to a

goalless draw by Benfica at the Camp Nou in Xavi’s sec-ond game as coach, but remain above the Portuguese side in Group E.

However, the Catalan club will have to beat Bayern Munich in Germany in their final group game to be sure of making the next round.

Benfica host already-elim-inated Dynamo Kiev in their last match, trailing Barca by two points.

Barcelona endured a nervy first half which saw Gavi waste the only clear opportunity, blaz-ing over from close range when Memphis Depay was waiting in the middle for a tap-in.

Xavi’s men improved after the interval, though, with Frenkie de Jong’s header forcing Benfi-ca ‘keeper Odysseas Vlachodi-mos into a flying save.

But it was Benfica who almost took a huge step towards the last 16 deep into injury time, only for Haris Seferovic to shoot wide when he should have scored.

Can’t take India lightly in home conditions, says WilliamsonAFP | New Delhi

New Zealand will not start as favourites despite fac-

ing an Indian team missing several key players, skipper Kane Williamson said yester-day, as the world’s two top-ranked teams geared up for a spin battle in their first Test.

Hosts India have rested skip-per Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami while opener KL Rahul was ruled out of the two-Test series on Tuesday after a leg injury.

New Zealand are the num-ber one Test side and reigning World Test champions but are still wary of the hosts, who have often proved formidable in home conditions.

“I don’t think we are favour-

ites,” Williamson said on the eve of the first Test in Kanpur.

“One of the key strengths of Indian cricket is its depth. India has great knowledge of their own conditions, we know the challenge is a big one.”

Williamson led his side to an eight-wicket win against India at the World Test Champion-ship (WTC) final in Southamp-ton in June, which the hosts will be looking to avenge.

Serbia motivated by 2019 Davis Cup heartbreak, says DjokovicReuters | London

World number one Novak Djokovic says Serbia will

use the bitter memory of their Davis Cup Finals defeat in 2019 as motivation to lift the trophy for a second time this year.

At the inaugural Davis Cup Finals in Madrid two years ago Serbia were knocked out in the quarter-finals after Viktor Tro-

icki and Djokovic lost a decid-ing doubles rubber to Russia.

They actually had three

match points and on the last one Troicki poked a routine volley out as he succumbed to nerves and in the post-match news conference he broke down.

Serbia are drawn in Group F with Austria and Germany -- both of whom are missing their top players -- and will be fancied to reach the knockout phase.

British golfer Luke Joy will be defending his title in the

King Hamad Trophy golf cham-pionship, which is scheduled to tee off today at The Royal Golf Club (RGC).

Joy is set to spearhead a field of 90 golfers, including 35 pro-fessionals and 55 amateurs, who will be vying for the title in the tournament’s 13th edition.

Joy has won the competition twice—first in 2017—and will be joined by a number of nota-ble players, including former champion Jamie Elson, for-mer European Tour player and holder of the all-time winning record on the MENA Tour Zane Scotland, and a number of lead-ing names from Bahrain and across the region.

The competing field includes golfers from England, Scotland,

Ireland, Italy, France, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, India, Mo-rocco, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Oman.

The championship will be played over 54 holes in three rounds along RGC’s 18-hole championship course.

There will be a cut after two rounds for the leading 45 play-ers and ties.

Today’s action is scheduled to tee off with the first group of competitors at 7am.

The previous edition of the King Hamad Trophy was played in December of 2019.

Joy clinched the title after storming back from six shots behind countryman Sean Towndrow to force a dramatic play-off. He then beat Townd-row by just one stroke to clinch the coveted title after re-play-ing the par-four 18th.

On his part, Bahrain Tennis Federation president Shaikh Ab-dulaziz bin Mubarak Al Khalifa admired the steps undertaken by the Public Security Sports Asso-ciation in bringing this world-class tournament to Bahrain for the second time.

“Everything here is running very well at the Officers Club courts and I would like to thank the Public Security Sports Asso-ciation for the outstanding work they have done in organizing this international championship despite the challenges they had,” said Shaikh Abdulaziz.

“All the facilities have been provided to the players, referees and even spectators, and I am so

proud for what the association has accomplished in making this event possible in all areas,” add-ed the BTF president.

“Such events also encourage national Bahraini players to put on more efforts and develop their skills at such world ten-nis competitions to bring their nation’s flag high,” further ex-plained Shaikh Abdulaziz.
