I am directed to refer to the subject cited above, it is stated that 'The Sindh Solid Waste Management Board' invited Tender "Procurement of Laptops, Computers, Printers, Scanner, Fax Machine, Photocopier and LEDs / Smart TVs under Tender Reference No. NIT-2 (A), (B), (C), (D) (E), (F) "In this regard, the proposals submitted by your firms were opened 21st August 2017 in presence of the Committee as well as the participants.

2. The Bid Validity Period of NIT-2 was fixed for 90 days as mentioned in RFP / bid document as per SPPRA rules, which expires on 21-11-2017.

3. The Technical Sub-Committee constituted for the purpose of Technical Evaluation of Proposals submitted by your firm took considerable time to finalize the Technical Evaluation and by that time of finalization of Bid Evaluation Reports, Comparative Statements and Minutes of Meetings etc, it is possible that bid validity period may be expired.

4. According to SPPRA Rule -38, the Procuring Agency may extend the bid validity with reason to be recorded in writing not be more than of the original period of bid validity.

Foregoing in view, it is advised that to extend the bid validity of your bid along with hid security submitted by your firm in response of NIT-2/2017-18 as per SPPRA Rules 38-7 (a).
