agile body, AYGO is ideal for exploring the city.

Our engineers have worked their magic. AYGO may be

compact on the outside, but their clever design means

it’s amazingly roomy inside, with space for four and

ample luggage.

AYGO’s new suspension gives an even smoother drive,

and thanks to a turning circle of just 4.8 metres, no road

is too narrow, no turn too tight. Indeed, with AYGO’s

nimble handling every journey is loads of fun.

EVERY ROAD IS FUN TO DRIVE.An effi cient engine doesn’t just save you money.

It also means new AYGO is a joy to drive everywhere.

Our engineers sent the already effi cient three-cylinder

engine to the gym, improving the engine’s breathing and

reducing internal friction. So it’s even more responsive and

fun to drive, while low CO means no road tax, and reduced

fuel consumption saves you even more money.

AYGO’s 69 hp is ample in a light car for zipping through

urban traffi c, or cruising on the motorway. Take charge

either via a slick 5-speed manual gearbox, or an optional

x-shift automated manual transmission with additional

driver control via paddle shifts.

The system measures air pressure by monitoring individual wheel rotation speeds as well as other exterior signals for each tyre. The dashboard indicator that illuminates will warn you if the pressure falls below the recommended level, and by doing so, the system contributes to safer driving, better tyre wear and greater fuel effi ciency.

Tyre Pressure Warning System (TPWS)

HAC helps to ensure a smooth start on steep inclines by applying the brakes for up to 2 seconds after the brake pedal is released. This prevents the vehicle from rolling back. It is activated by pushing the brake pedal harder after stopping as long as the transmission shift lever is in any forward gear position.

Hill-start Assist Control (HAC)

Instead of a conventional key, the Smart Entry & Start System features a transmitter that allows you to unlock the doors by pulling the handle and lock them again by pressing a button. To start or stop the engine, simply press the Start/Stop button. All you need to do is carry the Smart Entry key in your pocket or handbag.

In emergency braking situations, EBS fl ashes the vehicle’s brake lights repeatedly to alert following traffi c.

In designing and developing a new vehicle, every component is carefully considered to ensure environmental effi ciency is optimised throughout its life. The Life Cycle Analysis for the new AYGO (engine type 1KR-FE) compared to the previous model, shows a reduction in emissions of all the main pollutants and considerable reductions of 8% in CO (Carbon Dioxide) and 8% in NMHC (Non-Methane Hydrocarbons). Our factory in the Czech Republic uses 70% less energy than the industry average* to produce every AYGO.
