SMR(Strengthening Modification Repair) WORKS

Introduction of SMR works SMR works are an important aspect of offshore engineering ensuring continued safe operation of offshore structures. The most common reasons for SMR requirements arise from fatigue, regulation, amendments, collision damage and connecting additional members to the structure. SMR requires advanced skills and knowledge to normal jacket/topside design and are performed by in-house specialists. Additionally, SMR is highly engineered, for both moderate and major works in order to minimize costs associated with offshore works. SMR Scheme & Technique Having selected the level of SMR, the tailored SMR technique (or techniques) has to be chosen to realize the SMR scheme. In most cases there are alternatives that would achieve this objective; although in many instances, particularly for local SMR schemes, the choice may be fairly obvious. The selection of SMR technique(s) requires: knowledge of the available range of techniques, including variants; their strengths and weaknesses; and an appreciation of other factors such as ease of design, building, offshore support and equipment requirements, local supply infrastructure, etc. A summary of the main SMR techniques available is presented in the below table.

FABRICATION & CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING

The long-lead or critical equipment/materials which will be based on detailed engineering activities will be procured at the location of the engineering and detail company who will be subcontracted during the entire period of detailed engineering. OCEANUS will mobilize the number of personnel (including the key person for procurement) for the procurement activities, coordination and liaison with Client through Project Management Team at site. This team assures continuous vender performance in accordance with the established project schedule and performs liaison work, internally and externally between various engineering disciplines and procurement schedule. It also determines the amount of engineering still required during detailed design and the extent to which further definition is required prior to procurement and fabrication. Pipeline installation

We will supply all personnel, Marine Spread, plant, and necessary equipment to carry out the pipeline installation. All works shall be carried out in line with detailed Offshore Works Schedule approved by clients in advance and procedures submitted to client earlier for approval

Final Documentation

OCEANUS shall prepare and issue to client a comprehensive index of Project data book. This will consist of project documentation including As built drawings, Vendor drawings, results and Test certificates

Method Statement Surveys

Pre- engineering

We perform a total pipeline route survey which includes regular geotechnical sampling and continuous geophysical survey to engineer the required installation and trenching of the pipeline.

Pre- Installation

With our ROV and 3D scanning service, the geophysical survey shall be performed to cover 12,000m wide corridor centered on the proposed pipelines route for anchor clearance.

We are experienced in delivering all the newest laying systems which combine several pipe laying methods such as Tow-In, S-Lay, J-Lay Pipeline Installation completed by highly experienced manpower with fully integrated solutions for the complete pipe laying procedure. Furthermore, we offer a full range of related stand-alone equipment and manpower services. The safe and timely transportation and Installation of fixed and floating offshore structures are critical elements in successful offshore project development. FPSO / FSO

OCEANUS has supplied mooring chain in accordance with the client’s requirements required for floating storage units. Anchor Chains The marine anchor chains produced by OCEANUS are of the highest quality, and are sold to both domestic and foreign shipbuilding markets. Production uses up-to-date technology; with automated Flash Butt Welding Machine, vertical / continuous heat treatment, and non-destructive test. Mooring Chains Mooring chains are used for marine structures, drilling ships, FPSOs and other marine equipment and facilities. The mooring chains are produced through the computerized welding system and automated up-to-date production system of OCEANUS which are of the highest quality, and they are supplied to the world’s leading oil companies.

Installation Challenges Although the industry has extensive deep-water installation experience, many incidents still occur, such as dropped mooring lines, damaged lines or adjacent structures during installation. Oceanus Solution Although the industry has moved forward into deep-water with several installed systems there is still considerable room for improvement in several areas of design and installation. OCEANUS gives the clear solution to shoot the challenge for both operators and engineering contractors: successfully designed energy effective systems that are safely installed without incident in the field and providing reliability in-service. The cost of fixing a problem late in the design stage, or in the field during installation is extremely high. FLEXIBLE RISER & PIPE We "OCEANUS CO., LTD." walk in perfect tune with DeepFlex, has recently completed an expansion and upgrade that tripled our plant capacity. We can produce risers, flow lines, and jumpers in Manitowoc with diameters ranging from two to eight inches and with working pressures in excess of 10,000 psi. The proper design and specification of ancillary equipment ensures its proper interface with our flexible pipe products. Therefore we include design and procurement in our service offering.

SPM The common feature of single point mooring loading system is that their upper section is above the surface and that they have a single terminal offloading point around which the off take tanker can be normally like a weathervane. The loading hose and the mooring hawser are connected to the bow section of the off take tanker.

SEPARATOR The separator used for bulk separation operations is of considerable size and weight. The most widely used concept to separate bulk flows of water, oil, gas and sand on platforms are vessels in which gravity settling takes place due to the density differences of the fluids. The operation of the separator must provide sufficient time to allow the phases to separate by gravity.
