Department has an active Placement and Training Cell which maintains linkage with the

industry for placements of its students; it also publishes a Placement Brochure to assist in

this endeavour.

Professional Linkages with other Industries:

Prof. Y.S. Thakur had the opportunity to visit China for the purpose of establishing a

collaboration Agreement essentially to promote collaborative arrangements between

Indian Universities, Colleges, Institutes, Schools of Engineering, Technology, and

Management in the larger interest of promoting Sino-Indian cooperation in the field of

as an Incubation Center for promotion of Entrepreneurship program in 2014.


Future Plans:

Department will focus upon increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of teaching and

learning process through research and development. Department will also plan to setup

a research centre in the field of social science and tie-up with foreign University for

students and faculty exchange programmes
