Lucky the Leprechaun Lucky the leprechaun was a very unlucky

leprechaun. He lost his pot of gold and never found rainbows. Lucky’s shoes were old and dirty. He never found any four leaf clovers and he didn’t have any friends. Lucky didn’t understand why his parents named him Lucky. He was not lucky at all.

One sunny day in March, Lucky’s luck began to change. He saw his first rainbow. Lucky was so happy. He followed the rainbow. At the end of the rainbow, Lucky saw another leprechaun. Her name was Lucy. Lucy had a large pot of gold. She had shiny new shoes and was holding a four leaf clover. Lucy looked like the luckiest leprechaun of all, but she was crying.

“Hello. My name is Lucky.” said Lucky. “I followed the rainbow and found you. You have a pot of gold, new shoes, and a four leaf clover. I have been looking for these things all my life. Why are you crying when you have all of these things?”, asked Lucky.

Lucy stopped crying and looked up. “I am crying because I have no one to share it with. I am a very lonely leprechaun. I have never met another leprechaun before,” sobbed Lucy. “Do you want to share these things with me?”, she asked.

“I would love to!”, exclaimed Lucky. From that day on, Lucky and Lucy did everything together. They were happy with all of the things they shared, but being together made them the happiest of all.
