General Regulations

PARTICIPATION

1. Only those athletes can participate on the World Sport Kempo Open & Hanshi Cup who is member of United World Sport Kempo Federation (UWSKF) through a (Legal Entity) officially registered Sports Clubs, Associations or National Federations, Committees. The Legal Entity are fully responsible for entering their athletes within the deadline.

2. The Clubs, Associations, National Federations or Committees can enter unlimited number of athletes per weight category, except “Expert” (Black Belt) category where are 1 athlete/weight/country restriction.

3. Each competitor must have valid Insurance Party that can cover the related injury and medical costs if any. An accident that happened during the competition, either he/she or his/her Legal Entity will be entitled to bear the related costs.

4. Age and nationality will be checked with the passport / ID card at the weigh-in. 5. Each contestant deemed to be taking part of his/her owns free will, responsible for

him/her, shall be allowed to compete in only one weight category: the one corresponding to his weight at the time of the official weigh-in.

6. The delegations in need of a visa to enter Hungary must send their visa application forms to [email protected] before 31. August 2018. The organizer will take care of sending official invitation letters to the Hungarian consular representation in their country of residence.

7. Preliminary entries, and the transfer requests must be sent to [email protected] before 30. Sept. 2018. – (If you could make the registration in advance through MyNextMatch than you do not have to send it in excel format!)

8. The hotel booking has to send directly by each national team representative to the official Host Hotels before 30. Sept 2018. The booked rooms have to pay in advance till 31. October 2018. The reservation of unpaid rooms will be cancelled.

9. Final entries and registration: - Registration will be possible only on-line through MyNextMatch; www.mynextmatch.com. To be able to register for the UWSKF World Championship first have to register on MyNextMatch as a user and through MNM have to affiliate to UWSKF.

- Registration for the UWSKF World Championship will starts on 1st September and ending on 15th November

- Each participating country have to nominate a MNM administrator who is fully responsible to register his National team. (MNM team will support all federation to do it. contact person Mr. Andreas Georgiou, email: [email protected] )

- The registration for the Worlds through MNM will costs 5USD/competitor

3USD goes to MNM as yearly registration fee, 2USD goes to Organizing Committee to support the expenses of the International referees. The organizing federation will provide free hotel and food for the selected international referees. The referees also have to register trough MNM as Technical Officials. The 3$ + 2$ registration fee have to pay through MNM by credit card or through PayPal.

10. The entry fee is 70 EUR per competitor (4 event). Without any extra charge the competitors can register and start in 4 events. Each additional event will cost 10 Euro per event. The entry fee have to be paid by cash to the organizer at accreditation. The entry fee includes all start fees of the competition, all seminar fees in the Sport Hall.

11. All registered competitors for the World Championship & Hanshi Cup can participate on the Seminars are free of charge. Those who are not registered as a competitor for the European Open & Hanshi Cup but wishing to participate on the seminars heave to pay 10Eur fee per seminar.

12. The delegations request local transfer between the Airport and host hotels (Novotel Budapest Centrum, IBIS Styles Center) and also between the hotel and the Sports Hall during the championship the transfer costs are 60EUR/person, payable in cash at accreditation. The delegations will be welcomed by the organizing Committee upon their arrival in Budapest, Liszt Ferenc International Airport and will be driven to the hotel to proceed with accreditation.

13. The above written hotel room costs have to pay in advance by bank transfer till 31th October 2018. According to your previous booking email the Hotel will issue your invoice with advance payment about the total room costs and addressed it to your Federation or an appointed payee.

1. The competition will be run according to the rules in the attachment on 4 approved 10x10m mats and 1 approved 10x10m ring.

- Full Contact Duel Fight (“Viadal”) • Full contact duel „B” cat. “B Viadal” Continuous fight with controlled impact

force to the Head area (BV) • Full contact duel „A” cat. “A Viadal” Continuous fight without controlled

impact force (AV) • Full contact duel “Viadal” / Kempo Knock-down (KK)

- Kempo Submission • Gi Submission (GI) • No Gi Submission (NG)

4. The competition will take place in the official skill categories age and weight divisions and

no weight allowance will be accepted:

Event’s skill categories: - Expert (Black Belt) – National Champions Division; limited entries: 1 athlete/weight

division/country - Advanced – no limit of the entries per country - Beginners – no limit of entries per country (Beginners means: less training in any

combat sport than 24 Months ; this categories organized only in case of needs)

5. Each competitor will be requested to undergo a medical examination before the official weigh-in, during which his/her competition uniforms will be inspected for compliance as well.

6. Competitors who forfeit a match without proper medical certificate will not be allowed to proceed throughout the tournament and will be withdrawn from the final ranking.

7. Each competitor will be required to wear the good quality competition uniform complying with the UWSKF regulations. Uniform Rules: - GI Uniform: Black kimono with kempo sign on the collar; white pants; blue or red belt - Rashguard Uniform: red or blue rashguard ; white pants - No Gi Uniform: red or blue rashguard ; black short





8. The drawing of lots for position in the brackets will be done automatically by MyNextMatch

competition software after the time of weigh-in. The refereeing body will take care that competitors from same country can not be fight to each other in the very first match if it is possible.

9. Individual prizes will be given to each category: 1st place 1 gold medal, certificate 2nd place 1 silver medal, certificate 3rd places 2 bronze medals, certificates The HANSI CUP trophies will get the 3 best team in each day. (1st day: competition for athletes below 12years old; 2nd day: competition for athletes between 13 - 18years old. 3rd day competition for athletes above 18years old) The team points will be calculated according to the results achieved by all athletes that belongs to the same team.

REFEREES

1. Only certified referees may work in the competition. All referees have to be registered through MyNextMatch as “technical official”.

2. All referees must wear black pants, black sport shoes, and official polo shirt. (the polo shirt will be provided by the organizer)

3. All referees must attend the referees’ course preceding the competition leading by the head referee Mr. Laszlo Kormos

4. The National Federations that wishing to delegate their referees in to the refereeing Body of the event they have to send their application till 30. September through MNM. The Organizing Committee together with Mr Laszlo Kormos head referee will select the referees.

5. The organizing committee will pay the hotel room for the selected referees in the Host hotel (4 nights from 29th Nov. to 3rd Dec.)

COACHES

Only one coach is allowed to the competitors’ corner. The coaches must wear their team tracksuit when performing their match duties and abide by the International Code of Conduct at all times.
