Hydraulic Disconnect (HDI) is a ball-operated emergency release device designed to be run in a coiled tubingapplication to provide a method of separating from tools below to disconnect. This disconnect incorporatesfeaturestowithstandforcesencounteredduringfishing,millinganddrillingoperations.TheHDIhashighshockloadstrength,high tensile strength, is rotationally locked,andhasa shorter lengthwhencompared tootherhydraulicdisconnects.TheHDIisidealforapplicationsincludingusebelowupordownhydraulicjars,usewithimpacttools,andwithdrilling and workover motors. The tool has a positive pressure drop indication when the shear screws havesheared.Internaldebrismanagementiscontrolledbytheuseofo-ringsandadebrisfilteratcriticallocationsinsidethetool.A rupturediskhasbeen incorporated into theHSI to createa flowpath should the lowerbottomholeassemblybecomeplugged.The rupturediskcanbedisabledwhenrequired.Afterdisconnecting, the remainingbottomshalfof theHDIand toolsbelowcanbe fishedwitha standardHydraulicGSSpear.A torque-throughoptionisavailablefortheGSSpearshouldrotationthroughtheBHAleftinholebedesired.Advantages:

SequenceValveisacheckvalvedesignedtosupportacolumnoffluid,untilsuchtimeasanincreaseinpressureis applied to the column fromabove.Once the increased pressure is seen at the valve it will open and thecolumnof fluidwillbeallowed to flowthrough thevalve.By reducingpressuretothecolumnoffluidtoitsoriginallevelthevalvewillcloseandthefluidwillceasetoflow.Aspressure isappliedtothecolumnoffluid, itseestheselectedcross-sectionalareaandbeginstocompressthediscsprings.The disc springs are compressed, holding the piston nose on seat, preventing the piston from travellingthroughthetool.Pressureactingonthepistonwhenthepressureisincreasedtheforceactingonthepistonthefluidisallowedtobypassthepistonseatandtraveldownthetool.The Cement Valve can be reconfigured to operate at different pressures in a range from 500psi. NonReleasingOvershothasbeendesignedtoallowfishingofcoiledtubingthathasbeen lost inthe
hole. TheNonReleasingOvershot has a catch or anchoringmechanismwhichwashes over the top of thecoiledtubingwhichhasbeenleftinthehole.
The Non Releasing Overshot utilizes hardened grapple segments to catch the outside of the coiledtubing. These grapples slide over the coiled tubing when washing over, and bite into the tubing whentension is applied to theworkstring. Leaf springs attached to each grapple in the expandedposition awayfromthecoiled tubingwhen theNonReleasingOvershot isbeingmoveddownover the tubing topreventwearonthegrappleteeth.Oncethegrappleisengagedwiththecoiledtubingitcanbepushedfurtherdownthetubingtogeta"bite" loweronthestring.TheNonReleasingOvershotwillnotrelease fromthecoiledtubingtoreengagehigheronthestring.

overshots.TheHighPressurePack-Off is rundirectlyabovetheovershotandprovidesahigh-pressureseal5,000 psi (350bar) between the coiled tubing being fished and the workstring. This allows efficientcirculation capability down through the coiled tubing being fished, which may provide sufficient solidsremoval at the stuck point to free the tubing. The pressure tight seal between the coiled tubing and theworkstringallowsahydraulicreleasedevicetobeoperatedinthebottomholeassemblywhichmayallowtheworkstringtobepulledfromthewellifthestucktubingcouldnotberetrieved.

SnipperOvershot hasbeendesigned to allow cutting and retrieval of a sectionof coiled tubing thathas been left in a well. The objective being to ensure a clean fishneck with a smooth patch to allow achemical cutter to pass through should it be required. The Snipper Overshot has a catch and cuttingmechanismwhichwashesoverthetopofthecoiledtubing.Oncetherecommendedamountofcoiledtubingis swallowedby theovershot, the fishing stringwill cut the tubingby applyingoverpull. The coiled tubingabovethecutwillberetrievedinthesametrip.TheSnipperOvershotutilizeshardenedgrapplesegmentstocatchtheoutsideof thecoiledtubing.Thesegrapplesslideoverthecoiledtubingwhenwashingover,andbite intothetubingwhentensionisappliedtotheworkstring.Oncethegrappleisengagedwiththecoiledtubingitcanbepushedfartherdownthetubingtogeta"bite"lowerandthestringprovidingthecuthasnotbeenmade.Advantages:

TheSeries70ShortCatchOvershotisspecificallydesignedtoengagetheexposedportionof a fish too short to be engaged with conventional catch overshots and whereconditions prevent lowering the overshot past the fish. This toolwill firmly engage avery short fish. The four pieces comprising the assembly cannot be incorrectlyassembled. This tool is a simpleand rugged.Eachassembly isdesigned tocatchaspecificmaximumODandeachassemblymaybedressedwithanundersizedGrappletoengage any diameter smaller than maximum.
