The ban shall be applicable to allthe mechanized fishing vessel excluding theregistered traditional non-motorized and motorizedcanoes fitted with out board/in board motors ofupto 10 HP capacity.

tion No. 22/24/2010-RD dated 10-11-2010, issued

under sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Land

Acquisition Act, 1894 (Act 1 of 1894) (hereinafter

Official Gazette, Series II No. 34 dated 18-11-2010,

It wasnotified under Section 4 of the Land AcquisitionAct, 1894 (Central Act 1 of 1894) (hereinafter referredto as “the said Act”), that the land was likely tobe needed for public purpose viz. L. A. forconstruction of road work from Matvem to Ghanein V. P. Cola under Canacona Constituency.

And Whereas, the Government of Goa (herein-

after referred to as “the Government”) after

considering the report made under sub-section (2)

of Section 5-A the said Act is satisfied that the land

specified in the Schedule hereto is needed for the

public purpose specified above (hereinafter referred

to as “the said land”).

1 2 3 Now, Therefore, the Government hereby

declares under Section 6 of the said Act that the

said land is required for the public purpose

specified above.

The Government also appoints under clause (c)

of Section 3 of the said Act, the Dy. Collector/SDO,

Canacona-Goa, to perform the functions of the

Collector for all proceedings hereinafter to be taken

in respect of the said land and directs him under

Section 7 of the said Act to take order for the

acquisition of the said land.

A plan of the said land is available for inspection

in the Office of the Dy. Collector & SDO, Canacona-

-Goa, till the award is made under Section 11.

Whereas it appears to the Government of Goa(hereinafter referred to as “the Government”) thatthe land specified in the Schedule hereto(hereinafter referred to as the “said land”) is likelyto be needed for public purpose, viz. LandAcquisition for construction of Bridge across riverbetween Aldona & Calvim Village of Bardez Taluka.Now therefore, the Government hereby notifiesunder sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the LandAcquisition Act, 1894 (Central Act 1 of 1894)(hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”) that saidland is likely to be needed for the purpose specifiedabove.

2. All persons interested in the said land arehereby warned not to obstruct or interfere withany surveyor or other persons employed upon thesaid land for the purpose of the said acquisition.Any contract for the disposal of the said landby sale, lease, mortgage, assignment, exchangeor otherwise or any outlay commenced orimprovements made thereon without the sanctionof the Collector appointed under paragraph 4 below,after the date of the publication of this notification,will under clause (seventh) of Section 24 of the saidAct be disregarded by him while assessingcompensation for such parts of the said land asmay be finally acquired.

3. If the Government is satisfied that the saidland is needed for the aforesaid purpose, adeclaration to that effect under Section 6 of thesaid Act will be published in the Official Gazetteand in two daily newspapers and public notice

thereof shall be given in due course. If theacquisition is abandoned wholly or in part, the factwill also be notified in the same manner.

4. The Government further appoints under clause(c) of Section 3 of the said Act, the Land SpecialAcquisition Officer, Goa State InfrastructureDevelopment Corporation Ltd., EconomicDevelopment Coporation Ltd. House, Panaji-Goa toperform the functions of the Collector, underthe said Act in respect of the said land.

5. The Government also authorizes undersub-section (2) of Section 4 of the said Act, thefollowing Officers to do the acts, specified thereinin respect of the said land.

1. The Collector, North Goa District, Panaji--Goa.

2. The L. A. O., Goa State InfrastructureDevelopment Corporation Ltd., E.D.C. Ltd.House, Panaji-Goa.

3. The Executive Engineer, W.D. XIII (R), P.W.D.,Mapusa-Goa.

A rough plan of the said land is available forinspection in the Office of the Land SpecialAcquisition Officer Goa State InfrastructureDevelopment Corporation Ltd., EconomicDevelopment Corporation Ltd., House Panaji-Goafor a period of 30 days from the date of publicationof this Notification in the Official Gazette.
