Security 32.1 Securitygatesaretobekeptclosedandlocked,whereapplicable,andresidentsmustensure

thatnounauthorisedpersonsareallowedaccessintothecomplex.Thoseseekingentranceshouldonlybeadmittedbythepartytheywishtosee.

32.2 Noobstaclesorobjects,whichmay interfere in anywaywith thenormaloperationof theelectronic gates may be inserted therein or placed in such a manner as to avoid theautomatic closure of the gates. Residents are requested not to tamper with or attemptrepairstotheelectronicgateoritselectricalcomponents.AnyfaultsaretobereportedtoaTrustee.

32.3 Tamperingwiththeclutchontheelectronicgateisnotpermittedunderanycircumstances.32.4 Residentsareobligedtoco-operatewithanyrequestandabidebyanyruleaslaiddownby

theTrusteesinregardtosecurityatthecomplex.32.5 Residentsmustacquainttheirdomestichelpersandchildrenwiththesecurityrules.32.6 Securityguardswillnottakeanyinstructionsorordersfromanyresident,visitororanyother

persons confronting them. The security officerwill report any incidents (inwriting) to ourTrustees and their security company. Any compliments and complaints must be put inwriting.

32.7 No visitor or contractor, service provider or workman will be permitted to enter thesepremisesunlessauthorisation/permissionisgiventothesecurityguardbytherelevantunitowner/residentorTrustee.Allvisitorswillbeannouncedviatheintercomsystemandonlyafteraresponsefromtheresidentwillentrybepermitted.

32.8 Nohootingatthegatesispermitted.32.9 No persons are permitted to loiter in close proximity of the guard house / gate for

continuousperiods.32.10 Whengoingawayon leave/orawayfortheweekend,residentsarerequestedtoadvisea

Trustee,andinanemergency,wheretoobtainakey.32.11 Allrulesrelatingtothesecuritysysteminoperationmustbeobeyed.32.12 Pleaseshowself-control,courtesyandrespecttooursecurityguardsatalltimes,astheyare

thereforyourprotection.

Access Control41.1 Owners/residents/visitorspleasebeinformedthatSecuritydoesn’thavearemotetoopen

theentrancegate.41.2 Nohootingatthegatesispermitted.41.3 Residentsmust use the entrance gate to enter the premises and the exit gate to exit the

complex.Onlywhenagateisbroke,theothergatemaybeused.41.4 No residentwill open the entrance or exit gate for a visitor; the right proceduremust be

followed.41.5 Residents will inform their visitors that they cannot follow them into the complex NO

TAILGATING;thevisitormuststopattheentrancegateandfollowtherightprocedure.41.6 Whenaresidentdoesnothavehisremotewithhim/hertoenterthecomplex,theprocedure

foravisitorwillbefollowed.41.7 Whenaresidentdoesnothavehisremotewithhim/hertoexitthecomplex,securitywill

notopentheexitgateforthemonly if theprocedureforavisitorwasfollowedwhentheyenter.

41.8 Securitywillnotopentheexitgateforanyowner/resident.41.9 YoumayphoneSecurityat0733180388whenyouneedassistancecominghomelatefrom

workofifyouhaveanemergencyatyourunit.41.10 Ownersarepersonallyresponsibleforadefaultorbrokenremote.41.11 Ownershaveone(1)weekforreplacementoffaultyremotes.41.12 Whenaresidenthaveproblemswithhis/herremoteitmustbereportedtoSecurityandthe

Trustees.IntheweekthattheownershavetoreplacethefaultyremotestheresidentmustrequestSecuritytoopentheexitgateforhim/herandattheentrancegatetheprocedureforavisitormustbefollowed.

Access Control Procedure 42.1 All visitorswill be announced via the intercom systemandonly after a response from the

residentwillentrybepermitted.42.2 WhenavisitorarrivesatthePetalGroveentrancegatethevisitorisrequiredtowaitoutside

thegatewhilstcompletingthesecurityregister.42.3 SecuritywillcontacttheresidentoftheUnitviatheintercomsystemtoinformthemofthe

visitor(byname).42.4 The residentwill thenbe able to open the entrance gate for the visitor by pressing #6on

theircellphone.42.5 Avisitor’spermitwillbehandedtothevisitorbySecurityandthepermitmustbeplacedon

thedashboardofthevehiclewhenthevehicleisparkedatthevisitorsparking.42.6 Securitymust informvisitors topark in the visitorsparkingbayat thehighway sideof the

complex.42.7 SecuritywillmaintainatalltimesaNOanswerNOentrypolicy.42.8 WhenleavingthevisitormusthandthevisitorspermittotheSecurityguardatthegateand

Securitywillopentheexitgateforthevisitor.42.9 Whenavisitordon’thaveavisitorspermitSecuritywillnotopentheexitgateforthevisitor.

SecuritywillcontacttheresidentoftheUnittoresolvethematter.42.10 Fora lostvisitorpermit theowner/tenant shallbe liable to reimburse theTrustees for the

costoffthevisitorspermit.42.11 When the Sheriff of the Court / High Court arrives at the entrance gate, hemust identify

himselfandthereasonwhyhewanttodeliverdocumentstoaresident.TheguardondutywillopentheExitgatefortheSheriffandwillescorthimtotheunitinquestion.

42.12 Thedomesticworkersmayonlyenter/exit thecomplex throughthesecurityguardhouseandtheywillhavetosigninandoutinthedomesticregisteronadailybasis.Ifyougiveyourdomesticworkeranyitemfromyourunit(e.g.food,clothing,furnitureetc.)youwillhavetoinform the Security guard or youmust give a letter to your domesticworker that she canprovetoSecuritythatshereceivedthegoodsasagift.

42.13 WhenavisitoronfootarrivesatthePetalGroveentrancegatethevisitorisrequiredtowaitoutsidethegatewhilstSecuritycontacttheoccupantoftheUnitviatheintercomsystemtoinform them of the visitor (by name) and request permission to let the visitor in by thesecurityguardhouse.

42.14 WhenSecurity receivedpermissionto let thevisitor in throughtheguardhousethevisitormustcompletesecurityregisterandreceiveavisitor’spermit.

42.15 WhenleavingthevisitormusthandthevisitorspermittotheSecurityguardatthegateandSecuritywillletthevisitoroutthroughtheguardhouse/orexitgate.

42.16 Nopersonsarepermittedtoloiterincloseproximityoftheguardhouse/gateforcontinuousperiods.

42.17 Whengoingawayon leave/orawayfortheweekend,residentsarerequestedtoadviseaTrustee,andinanemergency,wheretoobtainakey.

42.18 Securityguardswillnottakeanyinstructionsorordersfromanyresident,visitororanyother

42.20 Allrulesrelatingtothesecuritysystemisoperationmustbeobeyed.
