SCOPE OF WORK

PROCUREMENT OF PRESSURE TRANSMITTER, DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE TRANSMITTER &

TEMPERATURE TRANSMITTER

The specification of the materials are provided below and materials provided by the vendor should

be accordingly suitable for our use.

DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE TRANSMITTER (0 to 2 Kg/cm2)

GENERAL

TRANSMITTER

Output: 4-20 mA HART

Trans. Power supply: 24 V DC loop powered

Zero and span adjustments: Both these adjustments shall be accessible locally at the transmitter

as well as from the Hand Held Communicator (HHC). Both Zero &

Span adjustments shall be non-interactive. Local mechanism of

adjustment shall be clearly explained. This mechanism shall have

tamper proof features.

Rangeability (turndown ratio): 150:1

Response Time: 100 ms

Long Term Stability: +/- 0.2% of URL for 10 years or better

Temperature effect: Should be less than 0.005 % of range per Deg C

Ambient temperature

& Humidity: 5 Deg C to 65 Deg C & upto 95% RH non-condensing

Process temperature: 0 to 70 Deg C

Reverse polarity protection: To be provided

Local indicator: Integral LCD digital display should be provided with each

transmitter.

Local indicator should be 3- 1/2 digit or better. This unit shall have 2

line alpha numeric displays. It shall have the feature of rotation by

900 throughout 3600. Clearly mention the no. of digits of this

display.

Accuracy of display unit should be +/- 0.1% of input signal.

Electronics housing: It shall have the provision for rotation through 180 Deg C

Electronics: Electronics should be plug in cards type with high degree of

interchangeability among the transmitters of different ranges.

Body material: Carbon steel

Process connection: 1/2" NPTF

Measuring Range: 0 to 2 Kg/cm2

Static pressure limit: 250 Kg/cm2

Static pressure effect on

Zero & span: Effect of static pressure should be clearly specified. Drift/error due

to static pressure in zero shall not be more than +/-0.1% of upper

range limit per 100 kg/cm2 change in static pressure. Span error

shall not be more than +/- 0.1% of upper range limit per 100 kg/cm2

change in static pressure. It should be possible to correct this error

through zero/span adjustment.

Over pressure limit: The design of the transmitter shall permit one side of the element to

be pressurized to maximum Design Static pressure of 250 Kg/cm2

with the other side vented to atmosphere, with no permanent

damage.

Vent / Drain Connection: To be provided on the side of the pressure chamber with 1/4 inch

NPT(F) thread & plug.

Warranty: 2 years warranty shall be provided from date of supply
