Academic Applied
❖ I prefer to work independently at home and may submit work early for teacher comment and review before the due date
❏ I can work independently in the classroom on projects and I prefer more regular teacher comment and check-ins on my research projects
❖ I value an overall review sheet provided by the teacher so that I may create my own study notes in a way that makes sense to me
❏ I succeed when I am able to design (with some guidance) a review sheet for tests and exams that I may refer to during this evaluation
❖ I can work in a large or small class effectively and seek teacher assistance when I am really stuck
❏ I work more effectively in a smaller class where there is more time for the teacher to answer my questions
❖ I prefer a shorter agenda of longer activities that contain more depth on this subject
❏ I enjoy an agenda of a number of short activities in class that have various foci
❖ I need practice in developing strong work habits such as time management and prioritizing
❏ I need more assistance in developing strong work habits such as organizational skills and making work plans
❖ I am interested in a subject where I am challenged to continue my inquiries about the subject on my own and the class gives me enough detail to start my inquiry
❏ I am interested in a subject when there is less to memorize and less depth, but key facts in a subject
❖ I enjoy group activities for “big questions” and independent class work to record my own ideas to learn the material
❏ I enjoy a balance of structured group activities and independent class work to learn the material
❖ I generally know how to use various text features effectively and read short examples of different writing styles to get me started.
❏ I may need some extra assistance in reading a variety of texts and in writing in different writing styles
