B: Introduction to our AssignmentAn assignment is a task or piece of work allocated to someone

as part of a job or course of study. Some examples of assignments are: scientific assignments,

recommendation assignments, white papers, annual assignments,auditor's assignments, workplace assignments, census assignments,trip assignments, progress assignments, investigative assignments,budget assignments, policy assignments, demographicassignments, credit assignments, appraisal assignments, inspectionassignments, military assignments, bound assignments, etc.

B.1: Objective & Vision of the Assignment: As a business expectative of future, we should have to gather

experience beside our institutional education. We should notconcern our lesson only in classroom but to implement it inpractical life that will help us in our future life. So, identifyobjectives is very much important.

This Study is intended to practice how to process large scaledata in big Institutions and Organizations.Additional Specific purposes of preparing the Assignment are:

Introduction to Computer

Application of Computer in Practical life.

Use of Spread Sheet.

Use of Various Functions & Formulas of Spread Sheet.

Introduction to Microsoft Office Software.

Use of Microsoft Word Programs.

Use of Microsoft Excel Programs.

Practical use of Computer data Processing.

B.2: Scope of the Assignment: In our Assignment, we have given the basic concept and

knowledge of Microsoft Office especially MS Excel. We’ve insistedon the use of various Functions & Formulas of Spread Sheet.



Finally, we tried our best to prepare a result sheet of 100students.

B.3: Methodology of the Study: For accessibility and availability of information we are not

given any data to work on the topic “Preparation of a ResultSheet”. We were required to survey mostly on imaginary data. Mostof the information used in this assignment is not from both primaryand secondary sources.



Primary Sources: We selected 5 subjects from our syllabus. The marks are from our Imagination.

Secondary Sources: All data are entered randomly. There are no reality of the marks of any subjects

B.4: Our Limitations: To conduct this study sheer experiences are needed. But we have

lack of those.As like-

Without practical work experience it was comparativelydifficult to complete The Assignment.

We were not given proper guidelines & Instructions as we arenew to MS Excel.

It was difficult to gather sufficient information due tolimitation of time.

Lack of MoneyAfter all within time limited it was a little bit hard for us tolearn and understand all the field of MS Excel.

Preparation of Result Sheet



IntroductionMicrosoft Excel is a spreadsheet application developed by Microsoft for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS. It features calculation, graphing tools, pivot tables, and a macro programming language called Visual Basicfor Applications

Starting the ProgramsWe can start the program in 4 ways as follows:

Press Start Button, Select All Programs then Microsoft Office and finally Microsoft Excel.

Press Start Button, Select Run then type “Excel” and finally Press Enter.

Or Press Windows Key + “R” then type “Excel” and finally Press Enter.

Write Click on Any free space then select New from pop-up Menu and finally Select Microsoft Excel.

Then the program will start.

Necessary Data Collection We selected 5 subjects from our syllabus randomly. The marks are from our Imagination. All data are entered randomly. There are no reality of the marks of any subjects

Inputting the dataWe input the data in the Excel Work Sheet.

Preparing result sheetWe’ve used Different functions and formulas like

Lookup If Function Sum function



Series Fill up Various Formatting. Different colors. Average And many others.



Saving the Work Sheet

Press File Menu, Select Save or Save As. Then a Pop-up window will open. Select Location for storing the file. Give a desired Name of the file. Finally, Select Save.Your file will be saved in the selected location with the desired name.

Learnings from our Computer Class. Offline helps from Microsoft Excel Help. Miscellaneous Book Reading. Internet.



Developments in computer technology play a very important role in modernsociety in Bangladesh. Computers telecommunications, data and computercommunication contribute tremendously for these activities. Computers andelectronic communication are getting closer and closer every day in everysphere of our country. Efficiency of production of wealth depends heavilyon various kinds of automation and computers are used to automate methodsfor processing information. Apart from information processing, computersplay important role in many other areas of industry which lead us to theeconomic development. Computers, electronic communications othertechnologies associated with automation come under the general term ofinformation technology. Information technology influences our lives andits impact on society is increasing day by day in our country. Apart frombenefits, many technological advances have harmful effects in society.Above all the developments of computer technology lead us to the socialdevelopment by reducing poverty, creating more job opportunities,developing living standard, enhancing the growth of economy etc.
