This iconic chapter of MAMA JAZ returned for live audiences to experience amazing performances by world class artists from Mauritius in superb listening and production conditions.

Attendance averaged over 50% each Wednesday at the Caudan Arts Centre under National Sanitary Decree obligation to half normal capacity at 215 seats.

Andeor Map @ SOL FAMIMAMA JAZ went all out to reach beyond the physical; No public access on site as the sessions were meant only to air on Radio waves and be live streamed on Facebook & Youtube.

Andeor Map is an Art Music Series which gives for total creative freedom to the performing artists. A special spice was that the sessions were ephemeral and not to be archived for public reaccess;The message is that Art echoes life and, though fleeting, is intense; no second should be left unlived wholly. The sessions averaged audiences of 20,000 each Sunday night.

Sonic Meditations

At 07H00 in the morning on 13 of April’s glorious days, joy and peace were conveyed through happy collective musical energy. Apart from performers lead by Gary Mach, rare were those who attended physically but over Facebook a hundred were reached on average through the livestreams.

MAMA JAZ is a month-long festival dedicated to Creative Music & Jazz, nested in Mauritius, harmonised with April; Indoor or outdoor, online or offline, on National Tv, Radios and the Internet... The human conscious heart of the initiative beats through all waves to convey the most positive frequencies in diverse forms.

The exploit empowers Mauritian genius at its core but has programmed, over the years, artists from Australia, Austria, Bulgaria, Canada, Cuba, England, France, Germany, Italy, Mozambique, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland and USA; 180 more countries to feature :)
