Congratulations to temple member Johanna Reilly for her appointment as President of The Board of Overseerers of the Jewish Journal! She was welcomed in as their new president during their annual meeting on November 17th.

Achieving the rank of Eagle Scout takes years of commitment and service. Many recipients have gone on to become President, astronauts, and Nobel Laureates. We are so proud that half of this year’s Boy Scout Troop 79 recipients are members of our Temple Emanu-El Family! As a Congregation, we look forward to the bright futures of Jason, Mitchell and Joe. January 21st:Paint Night! With Claudia Kaufman Thursday, January 21st at 6:30pm

Mark your calendars now for this fun Sisterhood event with Temple past president, Claudia Kaufman!

If painting is not your thing, you can simply pour yourself a glass of wine and watch as a blank canvas transforms into a painting.

Or, you can bring out your hidden Picasso and paint along, with step-by-step instructions, as we paint this avocado study.

If you have painting materials at home, that’s great. If you don’t have supplies or need additional materials, a limited number of low-cost paint kits are available (includes a canvas, some acrylic paints, and 2 brushes.)

March 14th at 10am: Brunch to-go with guest speaker Jo Ann Simons, Chief Executive Officer of Northeast Arc
