FROM THE DIRECTOR'S DESK

I have seen the Management Development Institute (MDI),

Murshidabad grow from being a seedling to becoming the

sprawling tree that it is now. As a result, I am filled with

immense pride when I express in complete cognizance of

the fact that it wouldn’t have been possible without the

dedication shown by our students, members of faculty, and

members of staff at our beloved institution.

It is with elation that I say that we have been able to achieve

excellence in various spheres in a short span of time, on the

back of our concerted and relentless efforts. Of the many

laurels we have had the honour of receiving in the past year,

two recognitions presently merit recounting. Not only were

we recognized as the best emerging B-school in the country

by NHRDN, but CRISIL has also graded us as A*(A Star) at

National level and A*** (A tripple star) at State level. We

also had the privilege of being instituted as one of the

members of the prestigious Association of Management

Development Institutions in South Asia (AMDISA). In light of

these achievements, I am confident that we will be able to

add more priceless gems to our coronet in the years to

come.

Further, the Summer Placements of the PGPM Batch 2018-

20 turned out to be a magnificent affair, having been

completed in record time. I wish the Placement Committee

and the students all the success in the world as they enter

the Final Placements season

I would like to extend immense gratitude to our corporate

partners who bestow their trust upon us and have

continued to be associated with us through all these years.

In conclusion, allow me to extend a cordial invitation to your

esteemed organisation to visit the institute and gauge the

infinite zeal and limitless potential that our budding

professionals possess. I assert with utmost confidence that

this band of emerging professionals, who comprise some of

the finest young minds in the country, will add great value

to your organization.

Prof. (Dr.) Atmanand

- Steve Jobs

Last but not least, I take this opportunity to introduce you to

the PGPM Batch 2019-21 who are primed to venture into the

corporate world. We are confident that our students will be

the most sought after by the top companies globally. As

leaders they will certainly leave a mark in their professional
