To All People Interested In The Upkeep Of Our Cemetery

To maintain our cemetery and keep it as it should be kept and os we wont to keep it requires the full time and services of one man. To do this requires on expenditure of not less than $1,000.00 each year.

The Hico Cemetery Association is endeavoring to main- toin our cemetery but the income from investments and other sources is not sufficient. Outside income has dropped off so that the situation is alarm ing.

To continue this work will require each ond every one interested to contribute toward its maintenance. Your contribution may be mode monthly or in any other monner you may desire, to Miss Mae Phillips.

The Hico Cem etery Association is o corporotion fully authorized to continue for oil time ond is managed by o Boord of Directors, its present Board consisting of J. P. Rodgers, Jr., President; W. M. Horsley, Secretory, and D. F. M cCorty.

Our investments consist of legocies mode by good c it izens of our community. These legacies ore placed in our permanent fund and the principal moy not be used for m aintenance purposes — only the income may be used. The permanent fund is invested in high grade M unicipal and Federal Bonds.
