. Recently ORYKTOLOGIKA NEA-NEWS ON MINERALS have launched an effort in linking minerals, crystals and precious / semi-precious stones with other products of the Mother Earth. Example is the creation of wine (ruby) wine offered with a real gem ruby in special packaging. The creation continues with the production of rosé wines accompanied by a made by a hand made jewel of rose quartz. Collectors through this combination enjoy delicious Greek wines while add crystals and precious / semi-precious stones to their collection. We plan to extend to other products and so step by step we will show in a practical way that everything man uses since earlier Times up to nowadays is either mined or cultivated. The effort showed that the combined offer of minerals, crystals, precious / semi-precious stones with another product of the Earth is a combination that offers joy to the people and especially to collectors of minerals and is a pleasant gift. In addition to our purpose to provide information on minerals and fossils is also to offer joy to the people through "delicious and precious” objectives and creati ns.

The vivid "stones" that blossom !

Lithops is a genus of succulent plants in the ice plant family, Aizoaceae. Members of the genus are native to southern Africa. The name is derived from the Ancient Greek words (lithos), meaning "stone," and (ops), meaning "face," referring to the stone-like appearance of the plants. They avoid being eaten by blending in with surrounding rocks and are often known as pebble plants or living stones. The formation of the name from the Greek "-ops" means that even a single plant is called a Lithops.

Olivenite is a copper arsenate mineral, formula Cu2AsO4OH. It crystallizes in the monoclinic system

(pseudo-orthorhombic),[1] and is sometimes found in small brilliant crystals of simple prismatic habit terminated by domal faces. More commonly, it occurs as globular aggregates of acicular crystals, these fibrous forms often having a velvety lustre; sometimes it is lamellar in structure, or soft and earthy.
