• Great for commuting (ability to skip the traffic)
• Low operational costs
• More affordable than other vehicles
• Easy to learn
• No parking problems with the scooters
• Quiet operation
• Impact on environment: reduced energy consumption and CO2
emissions, reduced impact on air quality, reduced space consumption
• E-scooters offer seamless integration with other sustainable mobility
modes and promote the use of eco-mobility chains (multimodality)

3
To make the city officials better aware of the benefits
resulting from the use of light electrically powered
vehicles and better understand the need to improve the
quality of local infrastructure needed by the users of
active and eco-mobility modes.

4
Aims of the e-scooter usage:
• encouraging employees to make short trips as part of their
daily work duties,
• encouraging employees to use multimodal forms of
transport (e.g. e-scooter - rail or bus) as part of business
trips by eliminating the "last mile" problem,
• familiarizing employees with the quality of local
infrastructure used by users of active forms of mobility.
T H E C A M P A I G N — O V E R V I E WHow?
5
Polish Union of Active Mobility leased the e-scooters. E-scooters were provided
to the municipal offices for everyday use. The scooters were offered to
municipalities and other selected local self-government institutions, most of
which are members of the Polish Union of Active Mobility — most of them are
associate partners in the cities.multimodal project. Implementation of
awareness raising measures (educational and informational activities) for city
officials.
