3. Manage Classes: (1 minute per class) Each class will need to be scheduled in the MTM system prior to collecting evaluations. Most classes will be scheduled by the Learning Partner, but we advise you also schedule independent classes through your own profile.

4. Provide students with the URL to submit evaluations: (2 minutes per class) Instructors are responsible for providing all students with the appropriate URL for submitting class feedback. You can find the URL by logging into your account, or the Learning Partner scheduling the class may provide it to you for distribution to your students.

5. Monitor results: (Ongoing) As an MCT you will should monitor all of the feedback entered by students in any class that you teach.

Managing your MCT Profile

An MCT’s profile in MTM includes all of the information that will be used to identify the

instructor in the system, both for online reporting features as part of the MCT program, and for

scheduling purposes at a Learning Partner.

It is important that this information is updated as soon as login information is received –

Learning Partner are unable to schedule classes for an instructor until registration is completed

– this information is not available in MTM until updated by the MCT. By providing your name

and MC ID to a Learning Partner you are giving them permission to find your name and

schedule you for training.

How to Start Managing your Profile in MTM:

1. Go to www.metricsthatmatter.com

2. Type in your user name and password

3. Arrive at the Metrics That Matter™ homepage, and from the top right corner, click on your name under Welcome and you will see the User Settings Menu

4. To change your name, email address, and password, select My Profile & Password from the menu

5. If you need to ever change your MCP ID, select My Certifications from the menu. The ID you input during registration will automatically populate on this screen. You can verify what ID is being sent to Microsoft at any time by viewing this screen, and any changes to this ID will be reflected in Microsoft data within a week.

6. To securely log out of MTM, select Logout from the menu

MCT Renewal Issues

[Important Considerations]

Q: If there is no data on your account, please schedule a class.

A: If you had a class within 90 days, you can enter the evaluations retroactively. Please refer

to Reopening a past Survey (MCT).

Q: I did not or will not teach any class in 365 days.

A: You would need to discuss this with Microsoft.

Q: I have data, but the class is missing.

A: You may have duplicate accounts in the system. We can merge the accounts if you provide your full

name (including middle name), Microsoft ID and your login email address to [email protected].

Q: How often does data report to Microsoft?

A: We provide data to Microsoft daily. Please check directly with Microsoft for the timing to reflect in

their system. Typically it takes several days to a week. If you have data in MTM, but still have a problem

renewing online, it is crucial that you speak with Microsoft directly to clarify this issue. You can use the

reports below as proof of your data in MTM.

If you have further questions regarding MTM, rather than MCT program, please send a new

email to Metrics That Matter Team at [email protected] to open a ticket. Please

include your full name, email address and Microsoft ID (and a Comparative Performance report

if that requires research of your data.)

If you’re delivering training at an organization that doesn’t use Metrics That Matter™, at a non-

certified location like a corporate office, or somewhere else where they will not be
