DESCRIPTION OF FIRM

Profile Kuwaiti Engineering Group (KEG) has been in continuous practice since its establishment in 1971. It is now a fully integrated Architectural and Engineering practice. The Firm’s portfolio includes over 150 major projects of various types. The estimated construction value of the completed projects exceeds $2 billion. The interests of the firm at the time of its institution were in Civil/Structural Engineering and Architectural services, but the scope of its activities has since widened considerably. The practice now includes all skills necessary for the complete engineering design of buildings including their interiors, project planning, building economics, traffic engineering and transportation, damage assessment, claims preparation and environmental impact assessment. These skills, in addition to others, enable K.E.G. to provide multi- disciplinary engineering services covering a broad spectrum. The firm’s interest in development expansion and the latest technologies in design strategies is a key role to its 5 decades of success.

KEG is up to date with all the demands of the engineering world. In this regard, The Firm has dedicated a small branch of its efforts towards the much-needed environmental service sector in order to support the growing environmental requirements related to pre/post development projects.

Philosophy Our philosophy has been and continues to be working with our clients to plan and design buildings that contribute value to the environment in general with emphasis on the concept of “quality of life”. The latter is aimed at providing users of the facility with the appropriate surrounding which will provide for high efficiency in performance and enhanced productivity. Each individual project provides solutions to the client’s demands and caters to the various key parameters; such as context, function and finance. The ingredients used to achieve our goals are commitment, accountability and team work.

Our approach is to identify the requirements and recognize professional expertise (whether in- house or other assistance) thus yielding services stemming from the cumulative management processes in decision-making and logical analysis leading to successful solutions. It is essentially a dynamic process of transforming concepts into reality with efficient buildings that are easy to operate and maintain.

Our facilities play a key role in the realization of our design concepts. The latest hardware and software aid in sustaining a balance between innovation and technology. They further enhance the integrated planning and design capabilities by permitting concept alternatives to be thoroughly explored.

Team Our team consists of Professionals- incorporating Planners, Architects, Interior Architects and Perspective Draftsmen, Civil/Structural/Electrical/Mechanical and Environmental Engineers & Quantity Surveyors among others, all of whom are qualified to offer a complete and personalized service to every client while keeping the cost of projected work under strict control, particularly in rehabilitation works, which normally are relatively more expensive.

The First Phase Construction included an Administrative block, Workers Rest Area, Mosque, Security Building, Main Plant Room etc. The Store for Milk Products is Provided with AC System.All stores have a Fire Fighting System, Smoke ventilation and External Fire Hydrants for Fire Protection.
