CollaborativeOnlineInternationalLearningInternationalCollaborationOurfacultyregularlyparticipateininternationalconferences.Inthepast,facultymembershavepresentedtheirresearchattheAssociationforEducationinJournalismandMassCommunication(AEJMC),theInternationalCommunicationAssociation(ICA),aswellastheNordicInstituteofAsianStudiesConferenceattheUniversityofLund.WehavealsohostedguestsofinternationalreputesuchasMrinaliniSinhaattheUniversityofMichigan,ArvindRajagopalofNewYorkUniversity,andothers.In2019,wehostedajointconferencewiththeUniversityofOregon.In2021,wehostedajointvirtualconferencewithTheMediaSchool,IndianaUniversityBloomington.JSJChasteamedupwithDailyChatter(largestnewsletterintheUnitedStates)tomakefreesubscriptionstothenewsletteravailabletoallstudentsandfacultyatJGU.DailyChatterisindependent,fact‑basedandnon‑partisanandthenewsletteriswritteninaconversational,easy‑to‑readstyledesignedtobereadorlistenedtoonyoursmartphoneoranyotherdigitaldevice.
