MINISTRY OF MUSIC CHOIR ONLY

“Kyrie Mass: A Celebration of Love and Joy” Thomas ... Chamber ChoirKyrie eleison, Christe eleison; Lord have mercy, Christ have mercy. Sinner, please don’t let this harvest pass. Where are you going to be when the trumpet sounds? Lord have mercy, oh, Lord! In a world of disarray, in a world wrecked with pain, we need your help, O Christ! Christ have mercy on us! Lord, King of heaven!

SCRIPTURE Psalm 36 ... Peter NormanTransgression speaks to the wicked deep in their hearts; there is no fear of God before their eyes. For they flatter themselves in their own eyes that their iniquity cannot be found out and hated. The words of their mouths are mischief and deceit; they have ceased to act wisely and do good. They plot mischief while on their beds; they are set on a way that is not good; they do not reject evil. Your steadfast love, O Lord, extends to the heavens, your faithfulness to the clouds. Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains, your judgments are like the great deep; you save humans and animals alike, O Lord. How precious is your steadfast love, O God! All people may take refuge in the shadow of your wings. They feast on the abundance of your house, and you give them drink from the river of your delights. For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light. O continue your steadfast love to those who know you, and your salvation to the upright of heart! Do not let the foot of the arrogant tread on me, or the hand of the wicked drive me away. There the evildoers lie prostrate; they are thrust down, unable to rise.

OFFERTORY

OFFERTORY SONG CHOIR ONLY “Every Time I Feel the Spirit” Hogan ... Chamber ChoirEv’ry time I, feel the spirit, moving in my heart, I will pray; upon the mountain, my Lord spoke, Out of His mouth came, fire and smoke; looked all around me, it looked so fine, till I asked my Lord if all was mine. Jordan river, is chilly an’ cold, it chills the body but not the soul. There ain’t but one train, upon this track, it runs to heaven, an’ right back. Down in the valley, when I feel weak, it’s when the devil, use’ly speaks. Because he’s crafty, and full of lies, I need the Spirit to keep me wise.

CLOSING SONG PLEASE STAND SING TOGETHER “You Are Good” I want to scream it out From ev’ry mountain top Your goodness knows no bounds Your goodness never stops Your mercy follows me Your kindness fills my life Your Love amazes me

6

Chorus: And yes I sing because You are good And I dance because You are good And I shout because You are good You are good to me (to me) Nothing and no one comes Anywhere close to You The earth and oceans deep Only reflect this truth And in my darkest night You shine as bright as day Your Love amazes me (Bridge): With a cry of praise my heart will proclaim You are good You are good In the sun or rain my life celebrates You are good You are good

Yes I’ll sing yes I’ll dance and I shout For You are good You are good to me
