The sanitiser is made with a blend of 65% alcohol and aloe vera that kills 99.9% of germs and bacteria. The Haan Pocket Sanitiser is available in five scents inspired by different times of the day: Morning Glory, Dew of Dawn, Citrus Noon, Sunset Fleur and Wood Night.

Spanish personal care company Haan is showcasing its debut product, the Haan Pocket Hand Sanitiser, at the inaugural Moodie Davitt Virtual Travel Retail Expo. Haan is a Silver Partner at the pioneering virtual event, where it will be exhibiting at #Virtual Stand BT-S10.

In travel retail, the brand is distributed by Spanish personal care company Beter. It is currently present in over 50 airports across 15 countries around the world including key travel hubs in Amsterdam, Barcelona, Paris, Lisbon, Panama, Dallas and Bogota.

The Haan Pocket Hand Sanitiser is a Nordic-inspired (soon-to-be refillable) sanitiser and dispenser that comes in a range of bright colours. Haan was launched in 2018 by Co-Founders Eric Armengou and Hugo Rovira and was built on a foundation of social commitment and corporate activism. Its ‘Turning Care Around’ philosophy informs both the company’s product development and corporate social responsibility programme.

This ethos is comprised of two key pillars called ‘Ready-To-Care’ and ‘Ready-To-Change.’ The first represents its commitment to creating consumer-friendly and environmentally conscious personal care products; while the second represents its impressive social activities.

20% of Haan’s profits are invested in projects that combat the global water crisis. The funds are used to support water awareness and education campaigns in developing countries and to build wells in water-deprived communities. Since its launch, Haan has constructed four underground wells in the Benga and Malawi communities in Africa, with another one on the way.

Virtual becomes reality for Haan  

Haan is a Silver Partner at the inaugural Moodie Davitt Virtual Travel Retail Expo.

The unique 5-day ‘live’ event, followed by a 30-day showcase, begins on 12 October, just after the conclusion of the Chinese Golden Week holidays. It features a star-studded series of events across the five days, including a Symposium, category workshops and a new consumer research initiative.
