Imparting effective Education to the socially economically and

Educationally Backward rural students of the HK Region and development of

personality through Extra-Curricular Activities.

Mission

To create an atmosphere for the development of spirit of nationalism, National

integrity and social service through Education.

AIM:

• To spread the awareness of Physical Education &Sports among

students.

Objectives:

1. To Train our students in different sports.

2. To conduct various fitness programs for students.

3. To create a sports culture in our college.

4. To educationally empower the youth.

5. To equip the rural students with all possible modern and Methods of

learning.

6. To install confidence “we are inferior to none” among Students.


7. To disprove that, there is a great rural urban divide by Ensuring

standard quality in higher education.

8. To fuel academic growth on sustained basis.

Government First Grade College was established 2007 at Lingasaguru, a

Small and beautiful town. College caters to the educational needs of rural youth

of the region. The College offers undergraduate courses in Arts, Science,

Commerce and Management College, The department of Physical Education and

Sports imparting active education to the socially, economically and educationally

deprived students of the rural HK region and the development of Personality

through extracurricular activities especially in Sports and Games. It has been

vision of department and college. And “To create an environment for the

development of the spirit of nationalism and commitment to social and justice

through the education” has been the mission

We plan for the next five years :

1. Summer coaching comp in Yoga and Kho-Kho, Kabaddi.

2. Conducting a leadership and personality motivation lectures from elite

personalities.

3. Conducting in Inter collegiate tournaments every year.

Inter Class Tournaments: The Department of Physical Education Conducts College Annual Sports

Meet in the month of March /April and Identify the young and talent potential

Athletes on their performance during the meet. These selected athletes are trained

intensively and prepare them for the University inter collegiate athletic meet.

Besides this, the department conducts inter class tournament for various games

like Kho-Kho, Kabaddi,Volley Ball, Throw Ball, Ball Badminton, Cricket,

Carrom, Chess, Athletics and recreational minor games to our students and staffs

for healthy and enjoying movements.
