She’s never felt air this pure. The view of the forest is breathtaking.

The river seems even more commanding from above. The world

now seems so small. Ginger smiles. She’s found her freedom again.

Jagger reads Ginger’s letter. She doesn’t send pictures of the places

she writes about. She doesn’t have to. Her words are so vivid, so

entrancing. Jagger doesn’t write back. He wouldn’t know where to

send them to. Instead, he designs. His creations are unravelled by

her travels, by his memory of her. He hopes she smiles when she

sees them. They are dedicated to her.

These are his love letters.

Launched in Europe in 2012, Ginger & Jagger is a product design

brand that prides itself on creating handcrafted high-end

contemporary products inspired by Nature.

Designed and produced in Porto, land of craftsmen and age-old

tradition, Ginger & Jagger’s Earth to Earth collection is an evocative

poetic realm, where Nature’s sculptural shapes are eternalized

through handcraft, with unique artisanal techniques and an

outstanding blend of superb materials such as brass, copper,

exotic woods and marble.

Ginger & Jagger is for the aesthetes, the rebels, the travellers and

the lovers. Ginger & Jagger motif is infusing a living space with the

thrill of wanderlust, bringing you the pureness of Nature, the origins

of the world, its wildness and the wilderness.

Framing the beholder in a crown of vine

branches, the Vine mirror is the ultimate

artisanal piece. The four arches that form

the frame are handmade from vine

branches, molded in brass casting,

found in the Douro Valley,

home of the unique Port Wine.

The Pearl Wall Lamp is a poetic

handcrafted tribute to Nature’s

mysterious ways. The piece, made in

marble and metal, represents one of its

quintessential attributes – serendipity.

The magnificence of pearls, when

produced naturally by oysters, is as

breathtaking and it is exquisitely rare.

The Pearl Wall Lamp’s marble shape is

carved by hand, making each piece, much

like a natural pearl, an absolutely unique

sculpture.

BananasSeries

The hand turned shape reminiscentof the banana tree features a

uniquely chiselled texture, allowingthe light to be both reflected and

diffused along the surface,culminating in standout pieces for

any living space.



The designers and artisans select raw materials from Nature, such as branches from rosebushes,vines, and fig trees, leaves and bark.

Brass Casting& Metalsmithing

Made eternal, the natural elements are then crafted by hand, providing a new sense of purposeto them – function following form.

The brass casting process is made with sand, fire and brass. The melted brass fills the shapesand textures left on the sand by the branches and the leaves.


The natural element in Ginger & Jagger’s aesthetic canon is embodied by the use of raw materialssuch as solid wood or the finest wood veneers.

Wood Marquetry& Turning

The wood carved from Nature provides function to the natural form, while the inlay marquetryevokes the first rays of sunshine passing through naked tree branches.

A balance between the integrity of the materials, the artisanal techniques employed and thebrands very own narrative element is the quintessence of Ginger & Jagger.
