Asset tags and serial number tracking This is a popular approach to tracking fixed assets using serial numbered tags. We create barcode labels for easy and accurate reading. The labels are applied to every asset prior to shipment simplifying the tracking process once the units are on site & installed. Asset tag information is then supplied to the owner on a spreadsheet linking each tag to its unique serial number.
