(IV) Proposed Terms of Reference

Rajasthan Liquors Pvt. Ltd. is operating 120 KLPD Grain based distillery & 3.0 MW Co-generation

Power Plant at Industrial FEZ, Village Haripur Hinduan & Saidupura, Tehsil Derabassi, District SAS

Nagar (Mohali), Punjab. Environmental Clearance was obtained from MoEFCC, New Delhi vide

letter no. J-11011/263/2010- IA II (I) dated 26th September, 2012. The company has obtained

certified compliance report from RO, MoEFCC, Chandigarh vide file no 5-299/2011/338-339 dated

20.05.2019.

The company has proposed expansion of Grain based distillery from 120 KLPD to 145.2 KLPD by

modernization in fermentation technology (Only 21% enhancement) within the existing plant. The

expansion of Grain based Distillery by modernization will involve following improvement in the

present scheme;

1. Process improvement in fermentation to achieve higher alcohol concentration and higher

efficiency.

2. Proposed expansion will be done by adding advanced enzyme and yeast.

3. Based on experience in foreign countries and improved varieties of enzymes & strains of

yeast, the company will be able to increase the concentration of alcohol from 13.7 % to 15

%.

4. Company will use the following varieties of enzymes which will be supplied by Novo which

is a Global leader in enzyme business.

Enzyme: Novo Enzyme- Saczyme 2 & Liqueflow Go.

5. Yeast (Thermosac XL & Red Ethanol) will be supplied by Lallemand Biofuels & Leaf.
