The Principals of Government/Aided/Private Polytechnics running Diploma in Pharmacy program in the state are

well aware that the web allotments for admission into First year diploma in pharmacy for the academic year 2019-20 were

already placed on the website. The candidates were instructed to report at the respective polytechnics latest by

29/07/2019. The following guidelines are issued to the Principals to enable them to fill the vacancies during

Institutional Spot Admissions. Principals are requested to adhere to the time schedule and guidelines prescribed

hereunder.

NOTE: New facility is provided to colleges to check the admission and joining details of a candidate. If a candidate

is qualified in AP.DPHARMACY-2019 and having Rank, then before giving admission check whether candidate

got admission in any college and reported at allotted college by using Hall Ticket/Application status in college

login. If the candidate got the admission and reported at allotted college then the candidate is not eligible for

spot admission. Hence, all the principals are requested to check the status of the candidate, before granting

admission ,in order to avoid problems at the time of uploading details of candidates admitted at institutional spot

admissions.

List of allotted candidates and vacancy position after conclusion of the web counseling are placed in the web.

Eligibility: Passed 12th Std. examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of

the Mathematics/ Biology (Botany and Zoology) to declare them eligible for admission as per AICTE

guidelines

1.Fill the resultant vacancies in the following order for D.Pharmacy Course in the Institutional Spot

Admissions.

a. First with candidates of D.PHARMACY-2019 registered earlier with SBTET in order of merit, who have not taken

admission so far.

b. Secondly with the candidates passed Intermediate or its equivalent examination in one attempt in order of merit

basing on the group marks out of 600/GRADE Total.

c. Finally with the candidates passed in Intermediate or its equivalent Examination compartmentally in order of merit

basing on the group marks out of 600/GRADE total.

Principals shall make sure of the eligibility criteria prescribed for admission before granting admission to the candidates into Polytechnics.

1. The dropout vacancies (Reported but discontinued) shall be given only for that category.

2. Likewise, the not reported cases and cancelled cases should be given only for that category.

3. If a particular candidates is not available, they should be converted to another categories as per the Annexure-I

enclosed i.e. finally after exhausting all category candidates the vacancies should be diverted to open category.

The candidates directly admitted during spot admissions are not eligible for tuition fee reimbursement.

Candidate belonging to other state and studied completely in there home state (Other State) only and whose

parents belong to other state and residing there are not eligible for Admission. He /She cannot be

considered even as

.

Further the candidates admitted during institutional spot admissions are to be informed that their spot

admissions are subject to ratification by the Convenor, D.PHARMACY-2019 (admissions). In case if spot

admission given to a particular candidate is not ratified for certain technical reasons, He/She has to quit the

college immediately. This is to be made clear to every candidate on the day of conducting the spot admissions in

the college.

Other states candidates are not eligible for admissions into polytechnics including spot

admissions as per presidential order. Hence, all the principals are directed not to include such

candidates in the spot admissions list.

All the candidates admitted under spot Admissions have to pay the following processing fee drawn in favour of CONVENER,APPOLYCET-2019 payable at Vijayawada.

Single D.D can be drawn for all the candidates admitted in the Institutional spot admisssions. The D.D drawn shall be enclosed to the applications to be submitted along with the list of candidates and relevant

documents at the time of verification.

The following documents in support of the admissions made shall be submitted as a spiral binding book.

i. college covering letter signed by principal

ii. Single D.D can be drawn for all the candidates admitted in the Institutional spot admissions iii. printout of Details of candidates uploaded in the web portal signed by principal iv. Submit the Xerox copies of the documents of the candidates in the same order as per the list at S.NO:2

and also write serial number on the first page of each candidate documents and arrange the Xerox copies as per the list .

Further, the Principal is requested to follow the above guidelines scrupulously

2.List of Xerox copies of certificates to be submitted as per the print out taken after uploading

After entering details of candidates admitted under spot admissions in the web portal, take print out of the

same. The list shall be signed by the Principal and shall be accompanied by the Xerox copies of

certificates of the following in the order.

NOTE: Candidates who have studied in Telangana State will come under OU local area. As stated in APRO 2014, the

common admission policy would continue and students of OU shall not be branded as belonging to other state.

c) NO CANDIDATE SHALL BE ADMITTED IN SPOT ADMISSIONS WITHOUT ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES

FOR VERIFICATION.

Principal shall obtain a declaration from the candidate as here under:

am not suffering from any of the following diseases:

(a) Mentally retarded

(b) Blindness

(c) Deaf and Dumb

(d) Chronic Heart, Lung, Kidney and Liver diseases

(e) Muscular dystrophy.

(f) I shall also cannot claim any compensation or concession in case of any accident / damage caused to me

during my course of study at the institution or at the place of training from the Principal of the institution /

Department of Technical Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Follow the rules of reservation and convert the seats from one reservation category to the other reservation

category at each stage (1) a, b and c mentioned above. [ see annexure ]

SPOT ADMISSIONS UPLOADING GUIDELINES

1. Select type of user COLLEGE, Enter your USER_ID, Enter Password, Enter college counselling code, Enter

CAPCHA code displayed and Sign In. The process is very much similar to the one you have already used for

uploading joining details.

2. DROPOUTS/CANCELLATIONS/NOT-REPORTED CANDIDATES

ENSURE THAT THE JOINING DETAILS ENTRY IN COLLEGE TAB IS MADE PERFECTLY. CROSS CHECK

THE LIST OF REPORTED CANDIDATES WITH THE JOINING DETAILS REPORT. ANY MISTAKE CAN NOT

BE CORRECTED ONCE THE SPOT ADMISSIONS ACTIVITY IS STARTED. Candidates figuring in Joining

details report will alone be forwarded to the Welfare departments for reimbursement of tuition fee / post

matric scholarship based on eligibility.

If there is no tick mark in the check box, the candidate will be automatically shown as dropout for deriving the

vacancy. Candidates who have reported through self-joining but not reported at college and Candidates who

have not reported through self-joining will be treated as vacancy for spot admissions.

Before click on Derive Spot Vacancy once again verify the joining details because Derive Spot Vacancy is a

one-time activity and can not be retrieved. Select Derive Spot Vacancy from the drop down menu under SPOT

ADMISSIONS. Generate vacancies by Click on Derive Spot Vacancy.

Select Fresh ADMISSIONS CANDIDATES ENTRY from the drop down menu. The following screen will be displayed. Enter college counselling code and click proceed.

Two kinds of candidates Qualified [those who have applied to Secretary SBTET and obtained a merit rank] as well as not qualified [ not applied to Secretary SBTET] may be there in fresh admissions during spot.

If the candidate is qualified in D.Pharmacy, enter his D.PHARM hall ticket number/Application Number and click on Get data. The data will be populated from the data base.. Click on save. Check the Details of spot admissions entered for the details of entries made. If you notice that a mistake is committed, select Delete candidates entered and enter the hall-ticket number of the wrong entry candidate and save. The candidate data is deleted. You can make fresh entry of the candidate through spot admissions module.

If the candidate is not qualified in CET, select Not qualified button and enter his qualifying examination and Enter the details such as name, father’s name, gender, local area, caste, date of birth, examining body [ in case of others, specify the name of board and the state of examination], group marks for 600. Verify once and enter the branch allotted from the drop down menu against the branch. Click on save. Check the Details of spot admissions entered for the details of entries made.

C.DELETE CANDIDATE ENTERED

If you notice that a mistake is committed, select Delete candidates entered and enter the hall-ticket number of the wrong entry candidate and save. The candidate data is deleted. You can make fresh entry of the candidate through spot admissions module. Click on delete candidate entered and enter hallticket/Application Number and select appropriate value from drop down list and click on delete

D. DETAILS OF SPOT ADMISSIONS ENTERED

This link gives you a consolidated report of the admissions made in the spot admissions.

The data entered through your college login will be verified with the hard copy submitted and the spot admissions will be approved or rejected based on the documentary evidence as per rules. The reasons for rejection will also be displayed against each candidate and the college can submit the deficiency and request for repeal. You can download the ratified list from your college login as and when it is made available to you.

(The cycle is to be completed for each category before diverting the seats to “Open Competition” (OC) in each region

two local areas in the combined rank.

b. If “ST” candidates are not available in any local area then the “ST” seats of each local area are to be allotted to

“SC” candidates of the same local area in the combined rank order.

c. If “SC” candidates are not available in one local area the seats are to be offered to “SC” candidates of the other

two areas in the combined rank.

d. If “SC” candidates are not available in any local area then the seats are to be offered to “ST” candidates of the

same local area in the order of merit.

e. If “ST” and “SC” candidates are not available in any local area then the seats are to be diverted to “OC” (Open

Competition) of the concerned Local area and filled.

In case of “PH” reservation seats, first the seats are to be offered to the candidates (male/female) as per the category

of seats earmarked (Visual/Hearing impaired/Orthopaedic). If candidates are not available in one particular “PH” category

the seats are to be allotted to the other “PH” category in the following order.

The cycle is to be completed before diverting them to the general reservation category candidates (Male/Female).

The above procedure is to be followed for “PH” seats in all reservation categories (OC; BC-A/B/C/D/; SC; ST). No

diversion of the “PH” category seats from one local area to other local areas due to non-availability of candidates is

allowed. Candidates with more than 40% disability are only eligible for allotment of seat under “PH” category. The “PH”

certificate is to be issued by the District Medical Board Constituted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

In case of NCC/SPORTS/CAP Categories, if candidates are not available in the concerned category in a particular

local area then the seats are to be diverted to Open Competition (OC) and filled with the candidates of the same local

area. No diversion of special reservation category seats (NCC/SP/CAP) from one local area to other local areas is allowed

due to non-availability candidates.

When general reservation (BC/SC/ST) and special reservation category (NCC/SP/CAP/PH) seats are diverted to open

competition (OC) due to non availability of candidates in a particular local area and there are no takers for these seats

(OC seats) in that local area then only these “OC” seats(General reservation/special reservation seats diverted to (“OC”)

are to be filled by the candidates of the other two local areas in the combined merit order treating them as UNR

(UNRESERVED).
