Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament 7:00 - 8:00pm on Wednesdays.

2018 Pageant Information

Holy Cross is very excited to announce our 2018 Children’s Christmas Pageant! This year, Holy Cross is making changes to the format and scheduling of the pageant. Our hope is that these changes will expand the pageant while making it easier for our families to participate and truly enjoy the spirit of the season. Our Children’s Christmas Pageant will now be held on Saturday, December 15th, following the 4:00 pm Mass. Please pick up a letter in the gathering space to learn more details and to sign up your children. The Christmas Eve Mass at 4 pm will continue to be a special liturgy oriented towards our families with ample opportunities for participation, singing, and memorable moments for our children.

Breakfast with Santa this Weekend

Plan to join us in Yeazel Hall on Sunday, December 2 after the 9:00 Mass for a delicious breakfast and a visit from Santa. Cost: $20 family, $6 adults & teens (13 & up), $5 children ages 5 to 12, free for children ages 4 and under.

Parents bring your cameras.

Holiday Mass & Luncheon Saturday-December 8th

All are welcome to this year’s Mass & Lunch-eon. We start with Mass at 9:00 with lunch at noon in Yeazel Hall. Please make your reser-vations by Monday, December 3rd by buying your ticket at the parish office or call Jo Oli-va 446-3328. Tickets $25 . Catered by Karen’s Catering. Questions call Catherine 446-7759 Please make note that the Mass is at 9:00am which is earlier than it has been in the past.

Christmas Delight Luncheon Coffee and Conversation

You are invited to join us for Christmas Delight Luncheon (which will replace Coffee and Conversation) this month at 12:00pm on Thursday, December 13th in Yeazel Hall. More details next week. We will be doing an exchange of $5 gift cards from any store among those present. Also, we will have pizza for lunch ($5 donation). Giving Tree Project Our 35th Annual Giving Trees are at the Church doors this weekend. Please take a tag and return the unwrapped gift- with the tags attached--by next weekend, December 8 & 9th. Gifts can be placed under the trees during the weekend masses or brought to the parish office during the week. Please be sure to have your gifts back on time: volunteers will be sorting the gifts and preparing them for delivery on Sunday, December 9th. Thank you for helping families in need to celebrate a Merry Christmas!

He wants us to be saints and not to settle for a bland and mediocre existence.” The call to holi-ness is something all of us must respond to. Join us as we reflect on growing deeper in holiness during the season of Advent. Syracuse seminarians Brendan Foley, John Leo Odour, & Dennis Walker will lead reflections & pray-er at Our Lady of Hope, Syracuse Dec. 16-18.

“Abuse Crisis in Church and Society” How did we get here? Where are we? Where we are headed? This is a presentation put together by Fr. Neal Quartier and will be shared on December 11 at 7pm at All Saints Church. All invited.

First Tuesday Sandwiches: Dec 4th, 8:15am Stop in downstairs by the kitchen on Tuesday to join several tables preparing pb& j, tuna, egg & chicken salad sandwiches for Catholic Charities Emergency Shelter for homeless men. Neighbors Helping Neighbors Annual Christmas Caroling Party: Dec 23rd, 1-3:30pm Join a friendly group of carolers downstairs in Yeazel Hall after 11:30 am mass on Sunday, December 23rd. Samaritan Center Volunteers: Sunday, January 13th, 12:30pm A team of volunteers from Holy Cross will serve a Sunday meal at our local soup kitchen on Sunday afternoon. November collections: Thank you, thank you for the very, very generous donations of candy & chapstick during our November collections! Sweet cheer will be added to the Christmas gift bags because of your support. The Jail Ministry’s Christmas party will held on Thurs-day, December 20th.
