Mrs. Bennett passed away April 16, 2020. She was born in Madison County, AL on December 29, 1945 to the late Gene Ross Boles and Lillie Dean Hudson Boles. Mrs. Bennett was a homemaker and a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church. She served as a foster grandparent at Flintville School where she enjoyed working with children. Betty enjoyed bingo at the Senior Center, attending church and spending time with her children and grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Bennet; son, Paul Jared Bennett; and sister, Mary Jo Boles. She was a great cook and was well known for her Lemon Cake. Mrs. Hentz worked as a seamstress with Serbin, loved sewing for her family and friends, and enjoyed fl ower arranging. In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Hentz; grandson, Scotty Duane Mearse; and sisters, Janet Mae Smith and Daisey Lela Quarles. Survivors include her daughter, Vickie Diane Brown; siblings, James (Alice) Smith, Joe L.
