      Our Side Event at the 57th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW57) on March 9thwas a full house.  We had a talented panel addressing development and female empowerment.  The organization was a collaboration between ICGC and African Moringa Alliance.     Our first panelist, author Consolee Nishimwe detailed her experience as a Rwandan Genocide survivor.  It was truly a story of strength, courage and human determination.  The audience was captivated by her every word.  Next was Mrs. Charity Ezeoke who outlined the role moringa farming is playing in femaleempowerment.     Ms. Ezeoke explained how moringa farming is allowing girls and women an opportunity at financial independence.  Ms. Mariama Keita addressed UN policy and her own work development work and aspirations in Guinea.  Ms. Keita has an impressive background including work with the UN and the White House.  Her
