Background
Regent Pumps founded by William Withers began manufacturing components for the Pump Industry in 1948 and was arguably the leader in the development of small close coupled pumps and pressure systems in the 1950’s. By early 1960’s it was market leader supplying OEM pumps to Companies like Danks, McPhersons (Ajax Pumps), Dalgety, etc. Roger Withers (son of William Withers) took over the operations in early 1970’s. Export markets began in early 1980’s, primarily to South East Asian countries. Since then the company has gained a good reputation with Consultant Engineers (today most Tender documents have Regent Pumps as approved Brand or listed as preferred Brand in their vendor list). Due to the success of Regent Pumps in Australia and abroad, Weir Engineering (UK Pump Company) acquired Regent Pumps in 1991 and merged with Weir Engineering operations, during this time, technical transfer were interchanged between Regent Pumps and Weir Engineer Technical teams, product like Split Case Pumps, Vertical Turbine Pumps, High Pressure Horizontal Turbine Pumps were introduced with excellent knowledge gained. However in 1996 Roger Withers successfully gained control of the company from Weir Engineering and remains as Managing Director of the company today. Engineering Services & Support Regent Pumps, in modern premises at 1-7 Redwood Drive, Dingley in Victoria, uses manufacturing techniques featuring sophisticated precision CNC machining, milling & drillings. Hydraulic Testing to AS2417, Part 2 (equivalent to ISO9906) is part of the manufacturing / testing facility. Regent has its own design facility on the premises to ensure the maximum degree of accuracy and product flexibility using 3D CAD drawings. This provides control of special requirements and product quality. Regent has Product Engineers to answer any questions you may have. The technical support covers hydraulics, drives (Electric Motor or Diesel Engine), Variable Speed Drive (VSD’s) and in general all Pumping Solutions.

Linebloc Series – In Line Pump
An in‐line close coupled single stage centrifugal motor pump. These compact pumps are ideal when space is at a premium and you require a high flow at an economical operating cost. D i n f l o w The Regent Dinflow is a single stage end suction centrifugal pump. It provides high performance at an economical cost and is particularly suited to mechanical and fire services as well as being suitable for use in a variety of other applications.
The volute casing is fitted with a replaceable wear ring and is designed to provide a smooth flow into the double shrouded hydraulically balanced impeller.
The Dinflow pumps can be fitted with a range of mechanical seals or a simple packed gland depending on the liquid you are pumping. These pumps feature back pull-out design for easy maintenance and are available in a variety of materials.
The Regent Dinflow has been engineered to the stringent International Standard DIN 24255.
Design Features:Operating TemperaturesWith standard packed gland - minus 10˚C to 105˚C. Maximum with cooled stuffing box - 160˚C. With mechanical seal - maximum depends upon seal fitted.
Operating PressuresMaximum operating pressure 1600kPa.Maximum test pressure up to 2100kPa.(Maximum pressure will vary depending on particular pump model - higher ratings available on application).
Maximum SpeedMaximum direct coupled speeds for Dinflow pumps vary between 3600 RPM and 1800 RPM, depending upon pump size.
Back Pull-Out DesignThe Dinflow pump is of “Back Pull-Out” design, and when a suitable spacer coupling is fitted to a direct coupled unit, the casing and motor can remain in position while all other pump parts can be removed for simple and quick maintenance.

5Double shrouded type is hydraulically balanced, positively driven by shaft key & axially locked between sleeve and impeller nut.
Shafts are stainless steel and only 5 sizes are needed to cover all 46 pump models. A domed lock nut secures the impeller.
Replaceable wear rings are fitted as standard to all casings and also to back covers on larger pumps which reduces maintenance time and cost.
Rugged cast iron construction with only five bearing housings covering complete range of pumps which give many common interchangeable parts.
Fully machined hook type shaft sleeve prevents shaft damage under the gland packing which substantially reduces maintenance costs.
Each pump has a removablesupport foot fitted at the drive end for greater rigidity.

Submersible pumps can be installed directly on the pit floor with strainer or suction cover or stand fitted .
Discharge is manually connected directly to pipe only by an elbow .

Auto Coupling System
This pump Series can also be installed with an “Auto Coupling System, thus can lowered into the pit for permanent installation without anyone entering into the pit, without disconnecting any piping for inspection and maintenance.
When lowered into position, pumps automatically seal to a ‘Duckfoot’ (Discharge Elbow) by the pump’s own weight without the use of bolts or special tools.

INSTALLATION TYPES
Free Standing Type
▪ Submersible pumps can be installed directly on the pit floor with strainer or suction cover or stand fitted .
▪ Discharge is manually connected directly to pipe only by an elbow .▪ Merely disconnecting the pipe, the pump can be removed for
maintenances.
Suflix ‘FS ‘ is put at the end of the Model No.
Suflix ‘AC ‘ is put at the end of the model No.
Auto Coupling System
This pump Series can also be installed with an “Auto Coupling System, thus can lowered into the pit for permanent installation without anyone entering into the pit, without disconnecting any piping for inspection and maintenance.
When lowered into position, pumps automatically seal to a ‘Duckfoot’ (Discharge Elblow) by the pump’s own weight without the use of bolts or special tools.
