If in future I am found cutting or trimming myhair, dsgmc has full right to cancel my minority certificate.

General Steps• Step 1 Registration: All applicants must register through the University of Delhi online admissions portal

https://ug.du.ac.in. All undergraduate admissions for 2021-22 will be administered only through thisportal. There is no offline admission for any applicant.

• Step II Payment of the registration fees must be done only through the link provided through theapplicant’s Dashboard

• Step III Reopening of the portal: The application will be allowed to update the marks and make minorcorrections in the form during this window provided to them. This will only be a one time process.

• Step IV Selection of Course and college after declaration of cut off: Applicants must log in to theirDashboards on the UG admission portal to choose the course and college they wish to claim admission infrom the list of colleges and courses they are eligible for. At a time, during a cut-off list, the applicant isallowed to choose only one course and one college. Multiple simultaneous admissions are not permitted

• Step V Online verification of documents by respective colleges: College shall verify the documentsuploaded by the applicant for eligibility and meeting the required Cut -Off. . College will either approve ordecline admission

• Step VI Payment of fees to confirm admission: The applicant should pay the fee without delay within 24hours of the approval of admission by the Principal of the College, and save the acknowledgement sliponline through portal.

• Applicants will be required to appear in person at the University of Delhi only at the very end of theadmission process, for verification of certificates as per the schedule to be announced by the University/College.

Program-specific Eligibility

• The candidate must have passed the Class XII or its equivalent examination from a

single recognized board.

• List of subjects/Papers to be chosen in CUET 2022 for admission to undergraduate programme is

divided into TWO LISTS : LIST A and LIST B. List A mentions languages. List B mentions program

specific subjects. Only the papers mentioned in List B will be considered as subjects for Program-

specific eligibility.

Common minimum eligibility

Structure of CUET - 2022

• The applicant must be a citizen of India.

• The applicant should have passed the class 12th examination of any board / University admission in India or any foreign country recognized as equivalent to the 10 + 2 system by the Association of India University (AIU).

• Applicants with gap year(s) will not be at any disadvantage for admission to undergraduate courses.

• 10% of supernumerary seats in each program are reserved for foreign nationals. Candidates seeking Admission under the foreign students category are required to apply on foreign students registry website: https://fsr.du.ac.in

• Candidates from the Sikh minorities may also seek admission under the minority quota in the minority colleges of the university. All such candidates must appear in CUET 2022. In minority colleges 50% of the seats are for candidates belonging to unreserved category and 50% are reserved for minority candidates.

• Admission to school of open learning (SOL) and NCWEB will be based on class 12th marks. Candidates must register themselves on www.admission.uod.ac.in

General Guidelines

IMPORTANT POINTS

• Admissions to all Undergraduate Programmes at the University of Delhi will be based on thescores obtained in CUET 2022 (except for admissions to the School of Open Learning (SOL), Non-College Women Education Board NCWEB, and Foreign Nationals).

• An eligible candidate desirous of seeking admissions to the Undergraduate Program(s) of theUniversity of Delhi for the academic session 2022-23 must read the contents of this Bulletin ofInformation as well as the notifications, updates and information published on the admissionwebsite of the University of Delhi.

• Candidates must appear in CUET in only those subjects in which he/she has passed class 12th.• In case the subject studied at class 12th is not mentioned in the CUET, the candidates must appear

in the subject that is similar/closely related to the subject he/she has studied at class 12th (forexample, if a candidate has studied Biochemistry in class 12th, he/she must appear in biology inCUET 2022)

• Merit will be based only on the ‘combinations of the subjects in which a candidate has appeared inCUET’ as mentioned in the respective Program-Specific Eligibility.

IMPORTANT POINTS

• The candidate must have studied and passed class 12th Examination or its equivalent from a singlerecognised board.

• Only the scores obtained in CUET 2022 will be considered for admissions to the academic year2022-23.

• Candidates must study the Program-Specific requirements carefully and then appear in theSubjects/papers of the CUET 2022.

• The candidates are advised to check that they satisfy all the eligibility criteria for the program(s)for which they are applying in the entrance test. Admission id subject to the candidate’s fulfillingthe eligibility requirements prescribed for applying to the concerned program of study. In case thecandidate does not meet any eligibility criteria prescribed for applying to the concerned programand appears in the entrance test. It is at the candidate’s own risk and cost. If at any stage, it isfound that the eligibility requirements are not fulfilled, the admission, if granted shall be cancelledipso facto.

• Before registering for CUET 2022, the candidates are advised to carefully read the Bulletin ofInformation and consult the Delhi University Act, 1922 and the Statutes. The Ordinances, Rulesand Regulations of the University of Delhi, available on the University website, would be bindingon them.

IMPORTANT POINTS

• As per Ordinance-I of University, there is no minimum bar for admissions to the undergraduateprograms in the university and its colleges except in the programs where the respective regulatorybodies, such as Medical Council of India (MCI), All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), BarCouncil of India (BCI), National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE), Dental Council of India (DCI),etc. have prescribed the minimum age requirements in their regulations.

• Gap year will not be a bar for purpose of admission to the undergraduate programs. However,such candidates must also appear in CUET-for admissions in academic year-2022.
