ACADEMIC YEAR 2021-2022 UNDER COMPETENT AUTHORITY QUOTA

REGULATIONS

The following are the Regulations for admission into MBBS/BDS Courses

in all the Medical and Dental Colleges affiliated to KNRUHS for the academic year

2021-2022 under Competent Authority Quota i.e., the seats in Government

Medical/Dental Colleges (after exclusion of 15 % seats transferred to All India Quota )

and Category ‘A’ seats in Private Un-aided Non-Minority / Minority Medical Colleges

and Private Non-Minority Dental Colleges and Army Dental College.

1. NUMBER OF SEATS UNDER COMPETENT AUTHORITY QUOTA:

1.1 The number of MBBS/BDS seats for the academic year 2021-2022 at

Government Medical / Dental Colleges and Private Medical / Dental Colleges

will be as permitted by NMC/DCI and notified before counseling. Tuition Fee will

be as notified by the State Government.

1.2 The seat matrix for Competent Authority Quota seats for academic year i.e., 2021-

22 will be displayed in the KNRUHS website before exercising web options for

counseling.

1.3 In case any new MBBS/BDS seats are permitted by MCI/DCI in colleges

affiliated to the University for the Academic Year 2021-2022, those seats will

also be filled up. NO FURTHER NOTIFICATION WILL BE ISSUED.

2. ELIGIBILITY

The candidates who fulfill the following criteria are eligible for admission

into MBBS/BDS courses. They have to apply online and upload the original

certificates for online verification and for inclusion in merit list for

Competent Authority Quota seats in colleges affiliated to Kaloji Narayana

Rao University of Health Sciences, Telangana, Warangal

2.1. a) The candidate shall be an Indian National (As per Hon'ble Supreme Court

orders OCI card holders are considered for the academic year 2021-22).

Candidates who satisfy the Local or Non- local status in Telangana

(Residence requirement) as laid down in Andhra Pradesh Education

Institutions (Regulations of Admissions) Order, 1974 only are eligible to

apply for MBBS/BDS admissions. Selection will be done as per the

procedure laid down in the G.O.P.No.646, dated 10.07.1979 as amended in

G.O.Ms.No.42, Higher Education (EC2) Department, dated 18.05.2009. and

G.O. MS. No. 114 HM&FW (C1) Dept. Dated:05-07-2017, and subsequent

amendments, G.O.Ms.No.187 HM&FW Dated: 29-12-2021, relevant orders

of Hon'ble High Court/ Supreme court and University regulations.

b) Educational qualifications:

Candidate should have passed Intermediate (10+2 pattern) or its

equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany,

Zoology) / Biotechnology and English.

• OC candidates including candidates seeking EWS reservation should

obtain not less than 50% marks in science subjects.

• BC/SC/ST candidates should obtain not less than 40% marks in

science subjects.

• OC PWD candidates should obtain not less than 45% marks in

science subjects.

c) Age:

Candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31-12-

2021. Candidates who do not complete 17 years as on 31-12-2021 are

not eligible for admission.

Candidates born on or after 02-01-2005 are not eligible for admission

into MBBS/BDS Courses for 2021-22.

2.2. Candidates shall secure the following of cutoff scores or above in National

Eligibility- cum- Entrance Test (NEET) UG -2021, conducted by CBSE, New

Delhi as per section (10) of Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS IN RESPECT OF CANDIDATES WHO ARE DOMICILE OF

TELANGANA /ANDHRA PRADESH

2.2.1 The candidate shall satisfy Local / Non local status as per GO.No.646 Education (W1)

department dated 10-07-1979 and Presidential order. The procedure indicated in the

above G.O for selection of candidates as amended in G.O.Ms.No.42, Higher

Education (EC2) Dept., dated 18-05-2009, G. O. MS. No. 114 HM& FW( C 1 )

Department Dt.5.7.2017, subsequent amendments,G.O.MS.No.187, HM&FW,

Dated:29-12-2021, relevant Hon'ble High Court/Supreme court orders and

University regulations shall be followed.

Non local candidates are eligible for 15% unreserved seats only. The local

candidates are also eligible for 15% unreserved seats along with 85% seats

reserved for local area.

2.2.2 The verification and registration fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted to a

future date. Therefore candidates are advised to check eligibility conditions thoroughly

before applying for determining state merit position in respective categories for

Competent Authority Quota seats using NEET-UG rank.

3. RESERVATION IN FAVOUR OF THE LOCAL CANDIDATES

3.1 Admission to 85% of the seats shall be reserved in favour of the local

candidates in relation to the local area as provided in A.P. Educational Institutions

(Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 for Non- State-Wide courses as given in

Annexure-III of GO (P) No. 646, Education (W1) Department, dt.10-7-1979.

3.2 State-wide Courses:

Admission into State wide colleges shall be regulated as per the provisions in the A.P.

Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order, 1974 for State-Wide

courses as given in Annexure-IV of GO (P) No. 646, Education (W1) Department,

dt.10-7-1979.

3.3 LOCAL AREA:

3.3.1 The part of the State comprising the Districts of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram,

Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur and Prakasham

shall be regarded as the local area for the purposes of admission to the Andhra

University,

**(Nagarjuna University) and to any other education institution (other than a State-

wide University or State-wide Educational Institution) which is subject to the

control of the State Government and is situated in that part.

3.3.2 The part of the State comprising the Districts of Adilabad, Hyderabad, Rangareddy,

Karimnagar, Khammam, Mahaboobnagar, Medak, Nalgonda, Nizamabad and

Warangal shall be regarded as local area for the purposes of admission to the

Osmania University,

** (the Kakatiya University) and to any other educational institution (other than a

State- wide University or State-wide Educational Institution) which is subject to

the control of the State Government and is situated in that part.

3.3.3 The part of the State comprising the Districts of Ananthapur, Kadapa, Kurnool,

Chittoor and Nellore shall be regarded as local area for the purposes of

admission to Sri Venkateswara University and to any other educational institution

(other than a State- wide University or State-wide Educational Institution) which is

subject to the control of the State Government and is situated in that part.

3.4.1 A Candidate for admission shall be regarded as local candidate in relation to a local

area.

i) If he/she studied in an Educational Institution or Educational Institutions in such local

area for a period of not less than 4 consecutive academic years ending with the

academic year in which he/she appeared or as the case may be first appeared in

relevant qualifying examination.

or

ii) Where during the whole or any part of the 4 consecutive academic years ending

with the academic year in which he/she appeared or as the case may be first appeared

for the relevant qualifying examination, he/she has not studied in Educational

Institutions, if he/she had resided in that local area for a period of not less than 4 years

immediately preceding the date of commencement of the relevant qualifying

examination, in which he/she appeared or as the case may be first appeared.

or

3.4.2 A candidate who is not regarded as a local candidate under sub-regulation (3.4.1)

Above in relation to any local area shall

i) If he/she has studied in educational institutions in the State for a period of not less than

7 consecutive academic years ending with academic year in which he/she appeared or

as the case may be first appeared for the relevant qualifying examination be regarded

as local candidate in relation to:

a) Such local area where he/she has studied for the maximum period out of the said

period of 7 years.

b) Where the period of his/her study in two or more local areas are equal, such local

area where he/she has last studied in such equal periods.

Or

ii) If during the whole or any part of the seven consecutive academic years ending with

academic year in which he/she appeared or as the case may be first appeared for

relevant qualifying examination, he/she has not studied in the educational institution in

any local area, but he/she has resided in the State during the whole of the said period

of 7 years be regarded as a local candidate in relation to

a) Such local area where he/she has resided for the maximum period out of the said

period of 7 years.

or

b) Where the period of his/her residence in two or more local areas are equal, such

local area where he/she has resided last in such equal periods.

3.4.3 The following categories of candidates are eligible to apply for 15% of un-reserved seats.

i. All the Candidates eligible to be declared as Local candidates.

ii. Candidates who have resided in the State for a total period of ten years

excluding periods of study outside the state or either of whose parents have

resided in the State for a total period of ten years excluding period of

employment outside the State (Annexure- III).

iii. Candidates who are the children of parents who are in the employment of the

state or Central Government, Public Sector Corporations, local bodies,

Universities and educational institutions and other similar quasi public

institutions within the state.

and

iv. Candidates who are spouses of those in the employment of state or Central

Government, Public Sector corporations, local bodies, Universities and

Educational institutions recognized by the Government or University or other

competent authority and similar other quasi Government Institutions within the

state.

N.B.: Relevant certificates must be attached to the application in respect of their

claim, in respect of residence. The certificate should be obtained from the

Mandal Revenue Officer.

Note: Candidates from other states who do not fulfil the above criteria are not eligible

for admissions under Competent Authority Quota.

4. RESERVATIONS:

A. RESERVATION FOR SCHEDULED CASTES (S.C.) AND SCHEDULED

TRIBES (S.T.):

Out of the seats available under Competent Authority Quota 15% seats shall be reserved

for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and 6% of seats shall be reserved for

candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes.

5. Candidates of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes belonging to the State of

Telangana and AP, for castes which are notified by the Government of Telangana

from time to time shall be considered for reservations.

B. RESERVATION FOR BACKWARD CLASSES:

29% of the Competent Authority Quota seats for MBBS/ BDS shall be reserved for

candidates belonging to Backward Classes as follows:

BC-A -7%, BC-B-10%, BC-C-1%, BC-D-7% & BC-E*-4% as per the

G.O.Ms.No.1793, Education, dt.23.09.1970 and G.O.Ms.No.23, Backward

Classes Welfare (C2), dated. 07.07.2007 and G.O.Ms.No.231, Health

Medical and Family Welfare (E1) Department, dated 11.07.2007.and

G.O.Ms.NO. 114 HM&FW (C1) Dept. Dated: 05-07-2017 and subsequent

amendments.

Candidates of the Backward Classes belonging to the State of Telangana

and AP shall be considered for reservations for BC castes , which are

notified by the Telangana Government as Backward classes from time to

time

C. RESERVATION FOR EWS CATEGORY :

10% of total seats in Government Medical / Dental Colleges (Seats sanctioned for

EWS Reservation implementation by NMC/MCI/DCI ) are reserved for economically weaker

section ( EWS) category candidates who are not covered under the existing scheme of

reservation for SC,ST & Socially and Educationally Backward Classes. These

reservations will be implemented from specially sanctioned seats for implementation of EWS

reservations which are exclusively permitted for implementation of EWS Reservation by

National Medical Commission /Medical Council / Dental Council / Ministry of Health

Government of India in specified Government Colleges. ( vide GO.Ms. No.47, HM&FW (C1),

Department, Dated 21.06.19.)

Candidates claiming reservation under EWS Category shall obtain the relevant

latest EWS certificate valid for 2021-22 for reservation under economically

weaker section issued by Tahsildar, who is the Competent Authority in state

of Telangana for issue of EWS Certificate. The eligibility criteria are subject

to the orders of Hon'ble Supreme Court in the pending EWS case.

6. RESERVATION FOR WOMEN CANDIDATES

33 1/3% of seats are guaranteed for women candidates in each category, This regulation of

guarantee shall not be applicable if women candidates are selected on merit in each

category for 33 1/3% or more of the seats therein.

7. SOCIAL STATUS CERTIFICATE:

The candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes

shall furnish a latest caste certificate in the prescribed proforma issued by Competent

Authority in support of their claims. The social status of Schedule Castes, Scheduled Tribes

and Backward Classes candidates shall be scrutinized in terms of G.O.M.s.No.58, SW (J)

Dept. Dt. 12-05-1997 and subsequent amendments and orders of Hon'ble High Court.

No candidate seeking reservation for admission under the above categories is

eligible under reserved category unless the candidate produces the Integrated

Community Certificate prescribed by the Government and issued by the Revenue

Authorities in the Government (Vide G.O.Ms.No. 58, Social Welfare (J) Department,

dated. 12-05-1997). The castes notified by Government of Telangana for

implementation of reservations only will be considered.

Note :- The Social Reservation provided for BC’s SCs, ST’s in the ratio of 29%,15% and 6%

respectively shall be vertical reservation.

MINORITY STATUS CERTIFICATE: Candidates belonging to Muslim Minority category

should furnish a certificate in support of their claim.

RESERVATIONS UNDER THE CATEGORIES OF CAP / NCC / PERSONS WITH

DISABILITIES (PWD) AND POLICE MARTYR’S CHILDREN (PMC)

Seats shall be reserved in each course and in each category for the following to the

extent indicated against them:

1 CAP (Army) : 1 %

2 National Cadet Corps : 1 %

3 Persons With Disabilities

(PWD) :

5 %

4 Police Martyrs Children (PMC) :

0.25%

Reservation for Anglo Indian: 1 seat in BDS in GDC, Hyderabad is reserved for Anglo Indian

category.

NOTE-1: The guidelines of Government of India and regulations of National Medical

Commission/Medical Council of India shall be followed in making admissions

of Persons With Disabilities (PWD).

The candidate seeking admission under PWD reservation should apply

under PWD Category in online application.

The Medical Board shall be constituted by the University as per GO.MS.21,

HM&FW (C1) , Department, Dated:10-04-2017 to assess the percentage of

disability as per Medical Council of India/National Medical Commission

regulations. Candidates claiming reservation under PWD quota should present

themselves before the Board constituted by University for evaluation of PWD

percentage and confirmation of eligibility. The decision of Medical Board

specially constituted for this purpose is final and binding on the candidates. The

schedule for evaluation by Medical Board will be displayed on KNRUHS

website.

8. APPLICATIONS THROUGH ONLINE:

8.1 The on-line application form for determining merit position in respective categories

for Competent Authority Quota seats using NEET-UG-2021 rank will be available on the

website https://tsmedadm.tsche.in/ from 8.00 AM on 5 -1-2022 upto 5.00 PM. on

11-1-2022.

Note: The candidates are advised to take a print out of the Prospectus / Instructions to fill

the application form from the website http://www.knruhs.telangana.gov.in/ or

from https://tsmedadm.tsche.in/ before proceeding to fill the application form.

8.2 The candidate should fill the online application form available in the Website with the

data required for through computer/mobile with data connection. The online application

form can be filled through any computer with internet connection or mobile with data

connection. The candidate is advised to fill the online application form after going

through the Prospectus by keeping all the Certificates, Scanned Photo and Signature in the

jpg/.gif format separately (as shown below) (step-1) and ready to enter his/her correct data

and upload the photo, signature and original certificates, after the payment of application

fee through Online.

8.2.1 Procedure of filling online application and Procedure for online payment:

In view of COVID-19, the process of application and certificate verification has been changed. The

following Certificates are required to complete the application process. The certificates marked as

mandatory shall be uploaded by every candidate. Other certificates are to be uploaded as per the

candidate requirement category. The certificates are to be scanned and kept ready to upload.

Application fee has to be paid through online.

1. Open the website https://tsmedadm.tsche.in Home page displayed as follows.

There are 4 steps to register for UG admission program i.e a. Mobile and Email Registration, b. Candidate Registration (Payment of fee), c. Updating of data d. Uploading of Certificates.

2. Monitor Resolution to be set to maximum, Best viewed in 1920 X1080 pixels.

3. Click on the Mobile and Email Registration. The candidate should have a valid /working Mobile and Email Id. OTP will be sent to registered Mobile and Email Id at different stages. The candidate should keep the Mobile and Email Id active till completions of the counselling process. The candidate has to enter OTP’s received to mobile and Email Id for registration and Verification of Mobile and Email Id.

4. After entering the details click on validate button.

5. If all the details entered are correct and verified with OTP’s your system will display a successful message and proceed to registration form

6. Registration Form appears in which Candidate has to give the details.

7. After entering the details click on validate button it will take you to the Payment Gate way for payment fee.

8. If all the details entered are correct your system will display payment reference number Button to proceed for payment.

Depending on your caste category the Registration fee is varied. Once paid you will not get any refund. Hence, you are requested to double check the eligibility conditions mentioned in the Prospectus yourself and pay the fee.

9. Now you will be directed to the Payment Gateway, Click OK

11. After payment you will receive a Successful Payment message on the screen and you will receive the Registration number to your mobile. Please note down the registration number for further correspondence

12. For updating the details of the candidate enter Roll Number and the Registration number and click on validate

button to enter into the Application form.

13. The application form will be displayed as shown below. You have to fill the details and upload Passport Size Photo and

Signature(Note: Scanned photo and Signature should be less than 100 KB and in JPEG or JPG format)

14. After filling the form, click on Save and Exit Button. This process can be repeated till all the data you entered

are correct using Data Updation link on the Home page. Then click on Upload Certificates Button to

proceed for document attachments.

15. After uploading all the required certificates, Click on Save and Print, You will get your filled in application form, take

printout of this form for further assistance. If you click on Print Application button you will get earlier saved data.

Do's and Don'ts

Do not use mobiles, tabs & Ipads. Use Desk tops Computers or Laptops with Internet Explorer.

Do not select or enter false information which can be liable for Criminal Action.

Avoid using slow internet facility.

Keep your mobile with you while applying and do not block SMS.

PROCEDURE OF FILLING ONLINE APPLICATION AND PROCEDURE FOR

ONLINE PAYMENT:

I. Read the Notification, Prospectus / Regulations carefully.

II. Keep all the following required documents ready to up-load the details.

(a) Admit card of NEET UG - 2021

(b) Rank card of NEET UG-2021

(c) SSC or equivalent examination containing the Date of Birth

(d) Memorandum of marks of qualifying examination i.e., Intermediate or

Equivalent examination.

(e) Transfer certificate (T.C)

(f) Study Certificate(s) from 6th class to Intermediate.

(g) Permanent Caste Certificate (Integrated Community Certificate) claiming

reservation under BC/SC/ST Categories issued by competent authority.

(h) Service records of parents or SSC/ SSLC certificate of parent/ relative if parent

is not in- service.

(i) Aadhar Card

(j) Minority certificates issued by the concerned Department.

(k) Candidates who have studied in the institutions outside of Telangana have to

submit 10 years (years of period to be specified) residence certificate of the

candidate or either of the parent issued by MRO / Tahsildar excluding period

of study/employment

(l) The candidates claiming fee exemption shall produce the latest Income

certificate of the Parent issued by MRO / Tahsildar.

(m) Local Residence Certificate issued by MRO for candidates appeared privately .

(n) Candidates claiming eligibility of reservation under Special categories i.e.,

CAP, NCC, PMC and Anglo Indian should furnish the required certificate in

support of their claim.

(o) EWS Certificate issued for 2021- 22 for claiming reservation under EWS

Categories issued by competent authority (Tahasildar) of State of Telangana.

III. The fee can be paid through Debit card / Credit card or Net Banking

IV. The fee paid by the applicants is not refundable and not adjusted to a future date

under any circumstances.

8. Registration and Verification Fee:

The Registration and Verification fee Rs.3,500/- (Bank transaction charges extra) for OC &

BC candidates and Rs.2,900/- (Bank transaction charges extra) for SC/ST candidates shall

be paid online through Debit card / Credit card or Net Banking.**

**Registration and Verification fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted to a

further date.

The candidates are advised to download and read the Prospectus of the course to verify for eligibility under local/non local category.

10 MERIT LISTS:

The provisional final merit position of the candidates who have applied online in

response to the notification issued by KNR University of Health Sciences for

Competent Authority Quota seats shall be determined by NEET-UG-2021 rank

and as per their eligibility criteria, applicable regulations, guidelines and

reservation policies viz:

a. As per regulations of Medical Council of India/National Medical Commission, the

candidates shall secure minimum of 50 Percentile for general category , 40

Percentile for SC/ST/BC category and 45 percentile for persons with disabilities

(under general category) in NEET UG – 2021 as per the cutoff scores to be eligible

for admission.

b. The University will notify provisional final merit list of eligible candidates

for exercising web options after verification of uploaded original certificates

by the University and officials of concerned departments.

NOTE:

Candidates who have applied online in response to this office notification for

determining merit position for Competent Authority Quota seats shall upload the

original certificates online along with the application. After verification of

uploaded online certificates provisional final merit list is notified for counseling.

11 COUNSELING

11.1 On-line application form without uploading mandatory Certificates, Passport size

photo, without signature at declaration area, incomplete applications will be

automatically rejected and will not be considered for determining the Merit position

in respective categories using NEET– UG – 2021 Rank.

11.2 Provisional Final merit list will be displayed on KNRUHS website after scrutiny

of uploaded certificates and application. Verification of uploaded certificates will

be done only once for web based counseling irrespective of number of phases of

counselings. Hence, candidates who have applied on-line are advised to upload

all original certificates at the time of online registrations without fail for scrutiny

by concerned departmental officials. No individual communications will be sent.

The notification for schedule for exercising web options will be issued separately

on KNRUHS website. Candidates are informed to check the website regularly

for notifications.

11.3 Counseling procedure is in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.114, subsequent

amendments, G.O.Ms.No.187, relevant Hon'ble Supreme Court and High Court

orders.

11.4 Candidates have to exercise one time Web options for seats in all the colleges for

MBBS course and BDS course separately. One time web options only shall be

considered for allotment of seats in all phases of counseling. Candidates cannot

change the uploaded options for MBBS/BDS course once the notified time for

exercising web options is over. Hence candidates and parents are informed to

exercise web options very carefully in order of their preference for colleges and also

to take a print out of exercised web options which are uploaded for reference.

11.5 The Admission Committee shall have power to review the selection in case of

any errors, misrepresentation or glaring injustice and cancel the

selection/admission. In all matters relating to selection and admissions, the

decision of the Admission Committee shall be final and binding on the

candidates and selections cannot be questioned after admissions are closed.

9. ADMISSION RULES

9.1 The letter of allotment for admission of selected candidate will have to be

downloaded from website after payment of University fee by payment gateway.

9.2 The candidate should submit the print-out of the filled-in Online application form,

allotment order and original certificates along with (1) set of self attested copies to

the Principal of allotted college at the time of joining for final verification by the

admission committee constituted at each college. The admission committee is

responsible for scrutiny of the original certificates submitted by the candidate. In

case of any discrepancy, the provisional allotment order for admission will be

cancelled.

9.3 Undertaking in the form of Affidavit on Rs. 100 /- Non-Judicial Stamp paper by

the Parent and candidate stating that all the certificates including the caste and

category certificates are genuine and they are responsible for any further

consequences as per law shall be submitted at the time admission. If any

discrepancy is noticed, the admission will be cancelled.

10 Selected candidates have to join the college within the specified date by submitting

all Original Certificates, Bonds, and pay the tuition fee as notified by the

Government to complete the process of admission. If the candidate does not report

at the allotted the college within the specified time and complete the process as

described above, the admission will be automatically cancelled.

11 University fee : Candidates have to pay the University fee of Rs.10000 =00 by

way of payment gate way and obtain the allotment letter.

12 Tuition Fee will be as notified by the Government of Telangana.

13 Discontinuation fee: Candidates cannot discontinue from the course after notified

cutoff date for dis-continuation or later. Candidates will have to submit a bond for the

same. Candidates shall pay Bond amount of Rs. 3, 00,000/- ( Rupees Three Lakh

only) if they discontinue the course after the last date of free exit.

14 College Regulations: Candidates are required to follow the rules and regulations

of the college and should also abide by the regulations of the University.

Candidates are informed that their correspondence with the university shall be

forwarded by the Principal of college with his remarks. (through proper channel)

for consideration. Under no circumstances they should have any correspondence with

higher authorities directly without prior permission of the Principal

15 CLOSURE OF ADMISSIONS:

The admissions shall be closed as per the schedule notified by the University as

per MCI/NMC Regulations.

18. COMMENCEMENT OF THE COURSE: The course shall commence as

per the schedule notified by Medical Council of India/National Medical

Commission. The duration of the course shall be calculated from the date of

commencement of the course and shall be uniform for all the candidates irrespective

of individual dates of admission.

19. POWERS OF PRINCIPALS:

Not withstanding anything contained in these regulations, the Principals of

Medical Colleges in the State may at any time before completion of the Under

Graduate course either on his own motion or on the application of any person after

due and proper enquiry and after giving the person two weeks time from the date of

the receipt of the show cause notice to submit a written explanation and or on a

personal hearing, order the cancellation of admission to the course, if in his opinion,

such candidate had furnished incorrect particulars or false information in the

application form or in the documents attached thereto or in the Statements made either

before the authority In-charge of admissions or the Principal or any other manner.

Against any such order of the Principal, an appeal shall lie to the Registrar, KNR

University of Health Sciences, Telangana.

20. POWERS OF THE KNR UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES: KNR

University of Health Sciences, may either suomoto or on an application made to

them, call for and examine the records relating to any selection or admission or

cancellation thereof in respect of the admission made by the concerned authority, for

the purpose of satisfying themselves as to the correctness of legality or propriety of

such selection or cancellation and pass such order in relation there to as they deem fit

including cancellation of the selection already published or admission already made,

provided that the University may, before canceling such selection or admission, give

an opportunity to the authority and to the person affected to showcause against such

cancellation. University has every right to cancel the admission of any candidate

without any notice, if the certificates produced by the candidate are found to be fake /

false/forged.

21. Discipline:

The students shall maintain strict discipline during the period of study/training program.

The candidates shall not resort to any strikes during the period of their study. The students

are not permitted in criticizing the policies of the Institute/University either before the

print or electronic media. Their grievances (if any) may be submitted to the

Dean/Principal through proper channel. They are not permitted to approach the legal

authorities/ NMC/Govt. without prior permission by the Institution and University. In

case of violation of the conduct rules, the admission of the candidate is liable for

cancellation apart from invoking the terms and conditions of the bond.

22. Ragging:

Ragging is prohibited in the Educational Institutions of State of Telangana and students

shall not involve in ragging which may lead to serious consequences including

cancellation of seat and punishments as per law.

23. Any candidate who has applied online and uploaded certificates for verification

and exercises web options for web based counseling is deemed to have read the

Prospectus and shall abide by all conditions and clauses of the Prospectus.

ANTI RAGGING ACT

Ragging is prohibited in the Educational Institutions in the State of Telangana

vide Act No.26 of 1997, dated.21-8-1997. The Anti ragging Act is placed on

the Website of the University for information.

The admissions into the following colleges are subject to the permission for the academic year

2021-22 by the Government of India / National Medical Commission/Medical Council of India /

Dental Council of India.

NOTE: a) The seat-matrix of all available seats in all the categories will be displayed on

KNRUHS website before of the counseling.

b) In case any Medical Colleges or Dental Colleges affiliated to the

KNR University are permitted later by the Govt. of India for

the academic year 2021-2022, the seats in those colleges also will
