Add a recovery phone number
1. Look for the first letter of your name in the top right-hand corner. Click on the letter. Click “Manage your Google account”.

2. Click on “Security” in the left-hand menu.

3. Scroll down to “Ways we can verify it’s you”.
4. Click “Add a mobile phone number”.

5. Type your email password again. Click “Next”.
6. Click “Add Recovery Phone”.

7. Type your phone number. Click “Next”.
8. Click “Get code”.

9. Look at your phone for a text message.
Type the code from the message under “Enter the code”. Click “Verify”.

10. Click the back arrow to go back to security settings.
11. You will see your phone number now.
