Traditional cleaning procedures such as acid soaking and microwave cleaning can be time-consuming and yield less-than-ideal results. With Acid Ultra Cleaning, we are pleased to offer today's lab technician a better solution.

Acid Ultra Cleaning uses acid vapor to clean the vessels in a sealed Chamber. Through a built-in temperature-control heating system, all trace metal contaminants soluble in acid can be safely and efficiently removed by acid vapor. The used acid will then be drained from the chamber to prevent the extracted contaminants from being reintroduced to the cleaned vessels.

Amerlab AC200 Ultra Cleaner with RTC and OWV technologies is the ultimate cleaning solution! With Ultra Cleaner, you can now achieve better results in 3 hours than traditional methods which required up to 24 hours.

AC200 Ultra Cleaner greatly reduces the costly consumption of acids and ppt levels of cleaning can be easily achieved using less expensive ppb grade acid.

Accurate measurement is essential for precise temperature control. Amerlab uses Real Temperature Control (RTC) technology. The temperature sensor of the RTC unit is specially treated, giving it Teflon-like corrosion resistance. It can be inserted directly into the acid to monitor the actual temperature in real time, ensuring that the acid vapor is generated under the ideal sub-boiling condition yielding the highest purity of acid vapor. Traditional cleaners only monitor the temperature of heater, resulting in less accurate readings, less control of the temperature of the acid and lower acid vapor purity.

OWV Ensures that the used acid is discharged directly from the system and does not return to the acid reservior to cause contamination. In traditional techniques, the waste acid will return to the acid reservior to evaporate and be used again. As the result of such circulation, the waste acid continuously contaminates the pure acid. The resulting vapor becomes dirtier and the cleaning efficiency worse, as a result, only ppb levels of cleaning can be achieved even using trace metal grade pure acid.

Automatic level monitoring Up to 6 level sensors can be deployed, making it possible to monitor the real-time level of pure acid, pure water, waste acid, and waste water. Once the low level of pure acid or water is detected, the cleaner will remind you to refill it before starting to prevent inadequate cleaning. Once the high level of waste is detected, the cleaner will immediately shut down to avoid overflow.

Digestion often involves HF acid to improve the effect. PTFE material, also known as Telfon, can withstand concentrated acids including HF and aqua regia.

Other cleaners often use cheap quartz material which is subject to HF corrosion and often contains high ppm levels of metal ions which will gradually leach into the cleaning process and cause secondary contamination. These drawbacks make it difficult for other cleaners to achieve ppt levels and greatly limits their usefulness in trace analysis.

Acid vapor cleaning:

The acid liquid gently evaporates into ultra-pure acid steam under sub-boiling condition. It can be used to clean inner and outer surfaces of vessels. After finishing, the remaining acid will bedrained from the system.

Ultra-pure water rinsing:

Ultra-pure water is introduced to the system and evaporates into steam to remove the remaining acid from inner and outer surfaces of vessels. After finishing, the residual water will be drained from the system.

Hot air drying:

After passing twice through HEPA filtration, air travels into the heating chamber to be heated rapidly before entering the cleaning chamber to dry the rinsed vessels.

Pre-cleaning:

Uses ultra-pure water steam to clean first, which can remove most contaminants on the surface and save subsequent cleaning time and acid consumption.
