At the beginning of the show Kayla Starr, senior, Brandi Ellison, senior, and Aimee Gow, junior, perform a song from the forties. The song was "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy'' by The Andrews Sisters.

Showing off their smooth moves and good looks, senior Lanam Hodges with juniors Michael Pet­terson and Kevin Lusi­gnolo, perform in the annual lip sync. The song they performed was "Soul Man' from the Blues Brothers. They left the crowd screaming for more.

Rockin' out to "Old Time Rock and Roll" Mickey Jordan, senior, gets the crowd on their feet. He was the 'special guesf for the annual lip sync.

FFA members that attended National FFA convention: lnes Feismann, Kaitlyn Perry, Zach Davis, Hayli Ward, Lauren Petree, Clint Billingsley, Miranda Wa­chsman, Cor­rie Catlin and Casey Mead-

Senior FFA members Corrie Catlin, and Carty Freed learn horsemanship techniques in Vet­tech class. Students are able to learn veterinary assistant skills in this class and take the test to become a Certified Vet Assistant.

Sharing the show­ring. siblings Landon Watts, senior, and Lexi Watts, fresh­man compete in the Wichita County Ju­niot Uvestock Show. The duo captured Grand and Reserve honors in the Iowa Park Local Show.

Sarah Glumm, senior, pre­pares a flower for one of her floral arrange­ments. During the year the horticulture class makes different types of ar­rangements. Creatively decorating the arrangements is the most challenging part for the students.

Posing with their arrangements, juniors Whitney Christian, and Kristin Westerhoff, and senior Grace Holloway, take pride in their floral creations. All the students get great satisfaction out of the making ar­rangements. After getting a grade for their creations each student is allowed to take it home.

Before the Veter­an's Day Celebra­tion, Karli Smith, sophomore, helped Veterans to their seats of honor on the auditorium stage. Smith is a two year member of student council and really enjoys volunteering for such a great cause.

During the Veteran's Day Ceremony, senoir, atalie Case leads the Pledge of Allegence while iunior, Anna Strader signs it. Strader has been taking American Sign language this year and enioys being able to serve others through it.

While concentrating hard, Chloe Johnson, sophomore completes a squat at a meet. This was her second year on the powerlifting team, and she plans to be a part of the team throughout her high school years. Johnson qualified for the state meet and brought hom fifth place honors.

Giving it her all, senior powerlifter Corrie Catlin performs a squat. Catlin qualified for the fourth year in a row to compete at the state meet and proud­ly brought home first place.

Sophomore Karli Smith and freshman Amanda Fuhrman are proudly displaying their kite. The girls worked very hard in Geometry this year and are excit­ed to be able to see all of their work pay off.

Senior Sarah Hams (a.k.a. Shams) is do­ing research for debate class. Shams is very active in al aspects of theater and is an active debator.

Colophon - Iowa Park High School Yearbook, Iowa Park Texas Volume 56 of the Iowa Park Hawk Yearbook was produced by a thir­

teen member tudent taff. The book was published by Walsworth Publishing Company in Marceline, Missouri. The <.,taff chose an ipod theme to go along with the fad of the times. Four color proce~s color was used in the first two flats with the remainder of the book being printed in black and white. Fonts of AWPC Design, Little Squirt and Abigail were cho~en by the <.,enior staff members. Delivery was cheduled for October of 2008.
