10/3/2021 12:00:47AM TO 10/9/2021 11:59:47PM TN0330100 5002 Creekside Preserve Dr 21-105854 10/3/2021 12:03:00AM 23F Theft from Motor Vehicle On 10/02/2021 at 18:15 hours, I, Officer Madison #1118 responded to a Theft from Motor Vehicle at 5002 Creekside Preserve Dr. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a white male (later identified as Billy Bond) and a white female (later identified as Sedara Bond). Sedara Bond stated that the front passenger side of her vehicle had been shattered and two bags taken from her vehicle in the past 30-45 minutes. I then observed that the front passenger window of her vehicle had been shattered. Billy Bond was also on scene and he stated he was the registered owner of the vehicle. As other thefts that were similar in nature occurred in approximately the same area, I relocated to where the next theft had come out at in order to possibly obtain more suspect information. On 10/03/2021 at 01:49 hours, Officer D. Prater (60839) reported a memo at 6231 Lee Hwy. POlice responded to this location on a disorder call. Upon arrival police got out with Mr. Marquel Wiggins and his girlfriend Ms. Briana Peterson. The two were arguing in the parking. Mr. Wiggins had Ms Peterson cell phone and was talking to Ms. Peterson grandmother. Ms. Peterson toldpolice Mr. Wiggins would not give her cell phone back to her. Police gave Ms. Peterson cell phone back and separate the two. The two just wanted to going there separate ways. Upon arrival I spoke with Ms. Melissa Duran who stated that she was in a verbal disorder with her ex boyfriend Mr. Nick Ross. Ms. Duran statedthat she was asking for Mr. Ross to take her home, but he did not want to which led to the disorder. Ms. Duran also alleged fraud by Mr. Ross stating that he logged into her bank account and transferred $1,100.00 out her account and into his. At this time therewas no proof that Mr. Ross was the one that completed the transaction, however Officers informed Ms. Duran on how to make a claim with her bank. On 10/03/2021 at 08:35 hours, Officer Tillery (0042223) responded to a Shoplifting at 2104 Mccallie Ave. Upon arrival, police were informed by Katie Pilgram ( store manager) that a b/m entered the store and put several detergent items in two baskets and walked out of the store, and left the scene on foot. The suspect was observed getting out of a white Ford pickup truck at the storebefore entering. No further information was available.

On 10/03/2021 at 14:45 hours, Officer Harry Horton (68401) wrote a continuation/supplement for a Theft from Motor Vehicle at 2340 Center St. Police received a message from dispatch that Mr. Freeman was attempting to add some more stolen items to the report. On this same date, Police attempted to make contact with Mr. Freeman. The first call to Mr. Freeman's phone hung up during our conversation. The second call went to Mr. Freeman's voicemail. Police left a message on voicemail stating to either email the information to me or to call the service center and have the information added to the report.

On 10/03/2021 at 09:45 hours, Officer Greene (68398) reported a memo at 1205 Boynton Drive, Apt. #13. The complainant, Natchez Udoh, stated he wished to speak to Police via phone call. Mr. Udoh stated his neighbor, Betty Burney, who has a restraining order against him, parked her car near his apartment in the parking lot. Both parties live in a close proximity to each other. Police informed Mr. Udoh that anyone who lives at this apartment complex can park in any of the parking spaces provided.Mr. Udoh was asked to stay away from Ms. Burney and to call back should Ms. Burney come around him. Nothing further to report at this time.

On 10/03/2021 at 12:45 hours, Officer Frazier (68396) reported a memo at 490 Greenway View Dr. Upon arrival at the bus stop at Greenway View Drive, police made contact with driver Gale Ramsey. Gale stated to police there was a passenger on board that kept taking his mask off and she had told him several times to put it back on. Police spoke with Terry Donagan. Police told Terry that per Carta rules, he had to keep his mask on at all times on the bus. Terry apologized and stated that he would keep the maskon. Gale stated that was okay as long as he didn't take it off again. No further.

On 10/03/2021 at 15:50 hours, I, Officer Madison #1118 responded to a Theft of Other Trailer at 802 Highview Dr (a residential home). Upon arrival, I was greeted by a male who identified himself as Jeffrey Roberts. He stated his trailer had been stolen between 1700 of 09-28-2021 and 1500 of 10-3-2021 as he was not at his residence between those times. I also observed a broken padlock in his driveway which he stated he was using to secure his trailer. He did not have any suspect information. I received the information for the stolen trailer report (namely the title which stated Jeffrey Roberts was the registered owner) and I reported the trailer as stolen through NCIC. I also relocated to the 3900 block of Dixie Circle in an attempt to locate the trailer, however there was not a trailer matching that description in the area. No further.

On 10/03/2021 at 17:45 hours, Officer A. Morales (82269) and PO R Johnson (87257) responded to a Vandalism at 4616 Blvd. Police dispatched to the above address for an HR Block with a broken out window approximate cost of the said window was $500.00. Upon arrival Police notice a brick laying on the ground near the premises and the window was busted outwards leaving a large opening into the building. Upon further investigation, Police noted that all the doors were locked. Police made an attempt to locate a responsible party for this business and dispatch responded with one that could not be located.Nothing further to report at this time.

On 10/04/2021 at 11:29 hours, Officer J.Ogg (83690) wrote a continuation/supplement for a MVT/Passenger Vehicle at 3012 Northway Ln. Police were notified that the stolen Chevy Cruze was possibly parked at this location. Upon arrival, police made contact with the vehicle. The owner Mr. Parker was notified. Mr. Parker requested the vehicle be towed. The vehicle was removedas stolen from NCIC. The vehicle was towed by United Wrecker and taken to their lot. No further patrol action.

Petty (75408) and PO Barber reported a memo at 434 Chestnut St. Upon arrival I spoke with Mrs. Heather Langston and Mr. Ross Langston who stated that they were just having a conversation outside of their hotel room. Mrs. Langston stated that their son was in their room with their friends and they did not want to wake him up with their conversation. There was no verbal disorder. On 10/04/2021 at 06:06 hours, Officer B ALLEN (65118) reported a memo at 2000 E 23rd St. Upon arrival, police made contact with Ms. Linda Sims who was disturbed by the loud noise coming from the outside of her room door. Police searched the area and found there was a nearby oil tanker in the nearby parking lot that was delivering, and what MsSims heard was the engine of the truck along with the business warehouse that is next door. No further police action is needed atthis time.

Police tried making contact with the owner of the vehicle Richard Smith( ), but were unable to make contact with the party. Police placed an orange unattended vehicle decal on back window of the vehicle. Nothing further.

On 10/04/2021 at 08:21 hours, Officer Franks (68395) responded to an open window at 2712 N Orchard Knob Ave. Upon arrival, I observed the open window. Myself, along with other officers cleared the house, and no one was found. The house did not appear as though someone was living there and only had miscellaneous items. The house is being renovated, according to the neighbor across the street. I took a look at the window and observed smudged finger marks that appeared to show that the party slid the window up and pushed in. No fingerprints to be lifted due to them smearing on a dusty window. Nothing further at this time.

On 10/04/2021 at 08:20 hours, Officer Williams (63838) responded to a Property Lost at 400 Birmingham Hwy (Covenant Transport). Police made contact with Caleb Payne via phone call. Mr. Payne is the trailer coordinator at the above location. Mr. Payne stated that a license plate was lost from a Hyundai Trailer (TN ) sometime between 10/01/2021 and 10/02/2021. The location of where the license plate was lost is unknown at this time. Mr. Payne needs to file report in order to obtain a new plate. No further at this time.

On 10/04/2021 at 09:50 hours, Officer M. Hauge (79528) responded to a Theft of Other Trailer at 6240 Airpark Dr. Police made contact with Mr. Coalson who stated he was in Chattanooga for work and his trailer had been stolen during the night from the motel parking lot. Mr. Coalson stated the trailer was a 12ftx6ft enclosed Dual axle trailer with Irrigation service printed in blue on the rear of the trailer.(picture in doc's). Mr. Coalson was unable to provide police with a vin# for the trailer but stated he would call back once he found it so the trailer could be entered into NCIC as stolen.

On 10/04/2021 at 09:45 hours, Officer Harry Horton (68401) responded to a MVT/Passenger Vehicle at 1874 Clear Brook Ct. Upon arrival Police spoke to Mr. Baxter Nicholas the owner of 2011 silver Infinity M7X. Mr. Baxter stated he left the vehicle in the driveway at the above mentioned address at 7 PM on 10/3/2021 with the keys in the vehicle. Mr. Baxter stated when he woke up this morning at 9 AM he discovered his vehicle was stolen. Police spoke to a resident at 1870 Clear Brook Ct who had security cameras on his house. The resident stated he would check security footage and will call in if he sees anything. Police contacted NCIC and placed the vehicle as stolen under NIC number V683336083. The vehicle has no distinguishing marks besides a blue license plate with a picture of a guitar on it.

On 10/04/2021 at 10:00 hours, Officer Doub (79522) and PO Parks #1153 responded to a Abandoned Auto at 5953 Brainerd Rd.

Upon arrival, police noticed a Black Honda Pilot (TN- ) sitting in the rear of the parking lot. The vehicle was occupied by Ms. Valerie Roush. Ms. Roush stated that she had been parked there since last night due to her not being able to locate her keys to her residence. Police told Ms. Roush that the owner wanted her to leave the property. Ms. Roush left the property with no incident. Nothing further to report at this time.

622 W 13th Street Ct21-106477 10/4/2021 10:51:00AM 91Z Miscellaneous Information

On 10/04/2021 at 10:55 hours, Officer Nathan Greene (68398) reported a memo at 622 W 13th Street Ct. The caller, Tatiana Sims, who was not on scene, stated she received a text from her ex-girlfriend/girlfriend, Nyla Baldwin, stating she was going to take items out of her apartment. Upon arrival, Police spoke to Ms. Baldwin, who stated she has been living at this address since February. Ms. Baldwin stated she was only going to take her own personal belongings from inside the apartment. Police asked Ms. Baldwin to try and leave the apartment before Ms. Sims returns from work to prevent a disorder.

Police then contacted the caller, Ms. Sims, who was informed that Ms. Baldwin was only going to take her own personal belongings. Police informed Ms. Sims to call back should Ms. Baldwin take any of her belongings or to prevent a disorder when she comes home from work.

On 10/04/2021 at 12:05 hours, Officer Tillery (0042223) responded to a Vandalism at 2303 Duncan Ave. Upon arrival police was informed by the victim Slane Levine that while she was out of town, someone attempted to bring in her residence thought the back door. the victim showed police the damage back door with the door knob hanging which appeared to have been prior off. Entry was not made only damage to the door knob. No suspect information at this time.

On 10/04/2021 at 12:30 hours, Officer Williams (63838) responded to a Damaged Property Accidental at 18200 Interstate 24 WB. Police made contact with Jeron Bradford via phone call. Mr. Bradford stated that on 10/01/2021 he was traveling West on I-24 through Chattanooga in his Chevy Equinox (GA ). Mr. Bradford stated that around the 18200 block he struck a pot hole causing axle damage to his vehicle. Mr. Bradford stated that he coasted to the E 23rd Street exit. From that location Mr. Bradford had his vehicle towed back to his residence in GA. Mr. Bradford stated that he needs a report for insurance purposes, and USDOT. No further at this time.

On 10/04/2021 at 13:00 hours, Officer Doub (79522) and PO Parks #1153 responded to Unknown Trouble at 5845 Brainerd Rd.

Upon arrival, we made contact with the RP Erik Meyers and Tayla Huenerberg who stated that they heard a female yelling from accross the creek. Police located a white female who stated that one of the homeless parties brought a vicious dog that's constantly scaring her dog. She also stated that she called McKamey, but no one has came out yet. Nothing further to report at this time.

On 10/04/2021 at 13:00 hours, Officer Stansberry and PO Morgan responded to a Shoplifting at 3550 Cummings Hwy (Highway). Upon arrival police spoke with complainant Yadira Hernandez, loss prevention employee. Hernandez said an unknown white female was seen on video entering the store carrying a wallet with no other visible property. Hernandez said the female was seenon video pushing a shopping cart with a black purse, hair straightener and other items. Hernandez said the female was then seenon video exiting the store past all points of sale carrying the purse. Hernandez said she found the empty box of the hair straightener in the store after the female left the store. Hernandez said the purse appeared to have more items in the purse that just the hair straightener. Hernandez said the value of known items stolen totaled approximately $80. No additional information available at this time.

On 10/04/2021 at 13:45 hours, Officer Waltero (79887) responded to a Theft from Motor Vehicle at 1400 Chestnut St.

I spoke to Kaleb Atwell over the phone, who someone got into his vehicle overnight. Mr. Atwell stated there were no signs of forced entry and they were able to get his wallet, a silver necklace and a Glock 48. The firearm was entered into NCIC and NIC #G305476635 was generated. Mr. Atwell stated he will speak to a business nearby to see if there was anything caught on camera, no further info at this time.

On 10/04/2021 at 15:05 hours, Officer B. Philyaw #989 responded to a delayed shoplifting at Walmart located at 3550 Cummings Hwy. Police spoke to complainant and loss prevention specialist, Ms. Yadira Hernandez, via phone conversation. Ms. Hernandez reported to Police at roughly 14:45 hours two white females were observed shoplifting a pair of work boots from the store. Each female left with a pair of Treadsafe boots valued at $26. At this time no identifying information is known, but the females were observed leaving the premise in a grey Chevrolet HHR, GA . Nothing further to report at this time.

He says he got a Verizon bill at his old address at 504 Turtle Crossing, Ooltewah. He says he has never had nor does he have Verizon. He says that someone used his name and old address to open two phone numbers. He says he has not had to pay anything and has filed a dispute with Verizon. He says he has not suffered a loss nor has this been on his credit, thus a miscellaneous report. He is clear that Verizon would be the victim.

On 10/04/2021 at 16:00 hours, Officer A. Jamerson (82266) reported a memo at 8045 E Brainerd Rd. I responded to a call regarding a black male with thin dreads wearing a black shirt and cut-off jean shorts repeatedly going in andout of the Millennium Bank on E. Brainerd Rd. I arrived on the scene and identified the suspect as Kalil Williams. Kalil Williams was then trespassed from the Millennium Bank on E. Brainerd Rd. per the bank manager's request.

On 10/04/2021 at 15:55 hours, Officer Williams (63838) reported a memo at 6400 Rosemary Dr. Police made contact with Gerald Mitchell via phone call. Mr. Mitchell stated that a female acquaintance named Jackiya Ford is receiving mail at his address withouhis permission. Mr. Mitchell is concerned that she may be doing this in an attempt to deceive police, and others into thinking that she has "established residency" at his home. Mr. Mitchell wants it documented that Ms. Ford has not established any kind of residency. Mr. Mitchell stated that Ms. Ford is not on a lease nor any type of written agreement stating that she resides there. Mr. Mitchell stated that he will be in touch with the post office to have Ms. Ford excluded from having mail sent to the address. No further at this time.

On 10/04/2021 at 17:00 hours, Officer S. Prinzo (86058) responded to a disorder at 7356 Lee Hwy. Once on scene, officers spoke with Mrs. Robin Campbell who stated her daughter-in-law locked her out of the house and would not let her in to collect her belongings. Officers spoke with Mrs. Jessica Rogers who stated she did not want Mrs. Campbell in her home at the moment. MrsCampbell stated she needed her work clothes from inside the home. On 10/04/2021 at 18:08 hours, Officer Pierre (84860) responded to a Shoplifting at 501 Signal Mountain Rd (Walmart). Upon arrival on scene police met and spoke with the complainant who works for Walmart (Amanda Boles). Ms. Boles stated that there were multiple black females in the store that were attempting to conceal items, and taking tags off of items. Police responded on scene and me with Ms. Boles, and made contact with the suspects. The suspects were escorted to the loss prevention office, andidentified. The three suspects were identified as Mallari Wilson (Mother), Samiah Wilson (Daughter), and Lavon Baker (friend of daughter). Samiah and Lavon were the two who took the tags off of two backpacks, and began concealing items inside of them. Ms. Wilson had not been concealing items herself, however in the camera footage she was witnessing this happen and did not attempt to stop the two girls. After the Walmart associates had recovered all of the items, they decided not to press charges against the three females. Ms. Wilson, Samiah, and Lavon were escorted out of the store. The total dollar amount of merchandisehas yet to be determined.

Ms. Skaggs stated she is not sure when it occurred due to her being quarantine in her home. Ms. Skaggs stated the damage is to the passenger side front bumper and wheel well. Ms. Skaggs stated there are scratches and plastic falling off, no further info at this time.

He showed police where more damage had occurred from pistol rounds that had hit his home. He stated that there was a total of 10 entry points where rounds had struck the front of his home. Healso believes that Donald (Saul) Cox may be connected with the incident. He stated that a third party had told him that the Cox party had a vehicle matching the description of the Jeep and that he is known to stay at 6004 Porter Rd. At this time, there is not enough information to positively identify this party as being involved with the incident. Nothing further at this time.

On 10/04/2021 at 20:50 hours, I, Officer Madison #1118 initiated a consensual encounter at 5450 Highway 153 behind Stockdale's near a homeless camp. I encountered three parties, one of which identified himself as Terry Belcher. I then ran him onmy computer and observed multiple possible outstanding warrants. I then detained him in handcuffs and he gave me permission to search his person (and I did not encounter any weapons or contraband). Info channel informed me that the warrants were no longer outstanding, so I removed the handcuffs from him and left the scene. No further.

On scene, Police made contact with complainant and clerk, Ms. Anne Stobbe. Ms. Stobbe reported to Police an unidentified African-American male came into the store to purchase gas and cigarillos. During the transactional process the male became upset with Ms. Stobbe and swiped the debit card reader off the counter with his hand. After smacking the card reader, hesmashed a Tennessee Lottery ticket case to the ground causing it to crack the plastic. At this time Police do not have any suspectinformation, but Ms. Stobbe reported the suspect fled the scene in a red Honda Civic, GA . Nothing further to report at thistime.

On 10/04/2021 at 22:57 hours, Officer Slater (84863) responded to a Shoplifting at 1600 E 23rd St. Upon arrival police made contact with a Ms. Abigail Bateman who informed police that around 2225 Hours, an unknown female approached her and informed her that a male party was possibly shoplifting within the store. At this time Ms. Bateman approached this male and confronted him about merchandise which she observed within his jacket pockets. Ms. Batemen informed police that this party then removed merchandise from his jacket before leaving the store passing all points of sale. Ms. Bateman informed police that prior to this male leaving the store she observed two containers of lotion valued at approximately 16 dollars within this parties pockets. At the current time there is no further suspect information regarding this theft.

On 10/05/2021 at 04:50 hours, Officer M. Braisted (75375) responded to a MVT/Passenger Vehicle at 1443 Ely Rd. Upon arrival, police made contact with Mr. Billy Hamrick (w/m, ) who stated that he had witnessed his friend's vehicle (2010 Mercury, OH- ) get stolen from his driveway. Mr. Hamrick stated that the vehicle owner, Ms. Georgina Miller (w/f, ) had been admitted to the hospital the previous day, but had left her keys in her vehicle. Mr. Hamrick stated that he had seen a suspicious woman walking along the road around the time of the theft, but was unsure if she was involved. Mr. Hamrick was unable to provide any other suspect information. Police conducted a search of the area and located the stolen vehicle at Hidden Acres Apartments, located at 4518 Hixson Pike. The vehicle was found in the parking lot between buildings G and J. Police found the vehicle unoccupied and unlocked, but no keys were located in or around the vehicle. The vehicle was towed by Tommy's Automotive, and will be released to the owner. No further police action.

On 10/05/2021 at 10:50 hours, Officer Stansberry and PO Morgan responded to a catalytic converter theft at 3301 Cummings Rd (MHC Carrier Transicold). Upon arrival police spoke with complainant William Hyndman, Operations Manager. Hyndman said on 10/5/21 at approximately 0435 hours unknown person(s) in a black 4 door car cut the chain securing the gate on the east side of the property, entered through that gate and drove to the south side near a Ford truck (tag ). Hyndman said the person(s) then cut off and stole the catalytic converter off of the truck and exited lot through the same gate. Hyndman said showed police the video of vehicle movement on the property. The vehicle stopped on the opposite side of the truck from the cameras which blocked its view of the people who committed the theft. At this time there is no further information re; leads, witnesses, or suspects.

She says he told her that she needs to go tothe court house, see him and take care of the no show charges. She says she had a friend check and was told that badge numbers do not go that high. She says she wanted a report on file of this incident.

Rykeidra was upset that the pay was not immediate and would take some time to fix, and she threw various boxes on the ground. Williams (84866) reported a memo at 2727 Rossville Blvd. Upon arrival to a back EMS/unconscious party call, police located the female in question who was observed laying down on the sidewalk beside the MapCo at this location. The white female, who was wearing a blue sweatshirt and camo pants, appeared asleep and awoke immediately upon police contact. The female had slightly constricted eyes but appeared cognitively aware and okay. The female stated that she was okay, but refused to answer any further questions, and denied to be medically assessed. She maintained thatshe was simply sleeping, and sometimes suffers from narcolepsy. After a moment, the female asked if she was under arrest, to which police answered no. The female immediately walked away from the scene, leaving her backpack and bicycle behind. Due to the female appearing okay medically and having no apparent charges, no further police action was taken.

On 10/06/2021 at 10:30 hours, PIT C. Glenn (60757) responded by telephone to a Counterfeiting/Forgery at 701 Market St. I spoke with Mr. Pack of Runner's Market at 4443 Kingston Pike, Knoxville TN. He says that an unknown party has made counterfeit checks using his company's information, routing and account numbers to cash three checks in Chattanooga at First Horizon Bank 09/23/2021 as follow:

#1) $4938.05 cashed at the 701 Market St. branch#2) $4936.15 at 3604 Tennessee Ave branch#3) $5952.67 at 2001 E. 23rd St. Branch.

Mr. Pack says he has copies of the checks that he will be sending to me by email. He says he does not have time stamps to indicate what time the checks were cashed. He says the that unknown party then went to Nashville TN and cashed counterfeit checks there as well. Mr. pack says that First Horizon as credited the monies back into his account, thus making the bank the victim. He says somehow, the unknown party was able to transfer money from the company's saving account to the checking account in order to cash the checks. He says he does not know how this was accomplished.

Burns told me that on 10/04/2021, between 0415 and 0545, a B/F entered the store twice and selected and removed 6 hair grooming irons. Burns told me the six irons totaled$949.00. A suspect picture is included in the report.

Officers went to this location and were shown pictures of an older white male in a red Nissan with a GA plate ( as a possible tag. Officers were informed by an employee of the bank that no money was given to this party. The suspect was using the ID for Damon Dockery who is 22 years old while this party appears to be much older. Prinzo (86058) responded to a MVT/Passenger Vehicle at 2100 Hamilton Place Blvd. Once on scene, officers spoke with Mrs. Alexandra Guerrero Amaya who stated someone stole her vehicle. Officers asked when she saw the vehicle last. Mrs. Amaya stated she saw the vehicle around 18:00 hours when she arrived at the mall. Mrs. Amaya stated the vehicle was locked and the keys were in her possession. Officers drove and walked around the mall and did not locate the vehicle. Mrs. Amaya stated the vehicle had no stickers or marks that would stand out. Officers entered the vehicle into NCIC as stolen on this date. The NIC#V283347262. No further.

On 10/12/2021 at 12:28 hours, Officer McClard (71972) wrote a continuation/supplement for a MVT/Passenger Vehicle at 2100 Hamilton Place Blvd. Upon investigation of this case, I found that the vehicle was not stolen but that the victim had forgotten where she had parked. The vehicle was located at the mall in the parking lot, where the victim left it. The owner was notified and came to pick up the vehicle. I removed the vehicle from NCIC as stolen.

Police then made contact with Mr. Stevens who gave an inconsistent story about the items he was placing in the area. Police determined Mr. Stevens and had Mr. Stevens pick up his items and leave the area. Nothing further to report.

The second party (suspect) Logan Walker changed his check from $25.00 to $250.00 and cashed it. She described Mr. Walker as a white male early 20s tall thin build with curly blonde hair. Ms. Sorrells says that she has already talked to TVFCU and they have returned the $250.00 to her account, thus making TVFCU the victim.

On 10/07/2021 at 08:11 hours, Officer J. Billingsley (79518) responded to a MVT/Passenger Vehicle at 2353 Rossville Blvd. Upon arrival, I spoke with the complainant, Antwan Alexander. Mr. Alexander informed me that approximately nine months ago he had Sergio, at 2400 Rossville Blvd, work on his green 1995 Ford Thunderbird (1FALP62W5SH184374). Mr. Alexander informed me Sergio told him the vehicle was towed to Expressway Towing on Rossville Blvd. shortly after. Mr. Alexander informed me he observed said vehicle parked in the rear lot of Expressway approximately five to six months ago. Mr. Alexander went to get his vehicle, however, Expressway Towing informed him they did not have it. Mr. Alexander informed me Sergio told him he (Sergio) did not get the vehicle back from Expressway Towing. Mr. Alexander stated the vehicle was registered to him in 2018 or 2019 andhe has owned the vehicle since buying it in the 90's. Mr. Alexander provided the title to the vehicle on scene. Mr. Alexander had toget a new title due to losing the old title. I spoke with Sergio whom informed me he did not have space for the vehicle at the time he received it from Mr. Alexander. Sergio told me he had the vehicle towed to the front of Expressway's property, as he does with vehicles when he does not have space for at 2400 Rossville Blvd. Sergio informed me he never got the vehicle back from Expressway Towing. Expressway towing informed me they let Sergio keep vehicles on their property, however they do not keep records of such. Expressway Towing informed me if Sergio's vehicles are not their he either retrieved the vehicles or they were stolen, etc. Due to the unknown location of Mr. Alexander's vehicle, the vehicle was entered into NCIC as stolen. Auto Theft Inv. Hayes (Car 175) was notified. Nothing further.

Police spoke with the victim Stephen Clonts who stated between 0100 and 0400 someone drove through his yard and broke off his mailbox at ground level. Mr. Clonts stated he did not hear any disturbance in the night. Mr. Clonts also found pieces of an unknown vehicle in his yard. Mr. Clonts added his city garage can was approx 60ft from where he had placed it the night before with trash scattered about. Repair cost is estimated to be $300. She says her credit card is attached to her Walmart.com account and assumes this Hudson party hacked into her Walmart.com account to place the order. Ms.. Wagnersays she has changed her password and canceled the credit card.

On 10/07/2021 at 16:30 hours, Officer Michael Ortiz (83692) responded to a Counterfeiting/Forgery at 2001 N Chamberlain Ave. Kirk Wurdack called police stating that an ex-employee, Jennifer Buckner has stolen at least 16,000 dollars since January 2021 from his business. Ms. Buckner had been employed for approximately 11 years as someone who was in charge of keeping track of the finances for Buster Brown Properties. Mr. Wurdack noticed a lack of money recently and began to look into financial statements. Mr. Wurdack found that Ms. Buckner has been using company funds to purchase unknown items from stores like Walmart, Amazon, and gas stations, and also sent money to her sisters, Julia Phillips, Brittany Fondaw, and friend Miranda Freeman via Facebook. Mr. Wurdack also showed unauthorized checks that Ms. Buckner had cashed, while forging Mr. Wurdack's signature. Ms. Buckner was also direct depositing extra pay checks into her bank account. Mr. Wurdack stated that he and his employees are still digging into their financial statements and estimate that they will continue to find large amounts of money that Ms. Buckner has taken. Mr. Wurdack provided paper copies of financial statements that will be forwarded to the FraudDivision.

Wilkerson (83698) responded to a Vehicle Recovered Stolen Outside of Chattanooga at 508 N Kelley St. Police were dispatched to the area after the RP, D'Neshia Jefferson, called stating she located her stolen vehiclePolice then arrived in the area and located a silver Volvo displaying TN which returned to a different vehicle. Police then ran VIN YV1TR911951393619 which had no return. After speaking to Ms. Jefferson she stated that her boyfriend, Daniel Autrey, reported the vehicle stolen out of Cleveland, TN. Police then spoke to Mr. Autrey via phone and found that he reported the vehiclestolen but did not have a tag number or VIN information to have it entered into NCIC. Ms. Jefferson then stated that the tag that isdisplayed on the Volvo is registered to her, and it belongs on her old vehicle. Police ran the tag and found it to return to Ms. Jefferson. Ms. Jefferson stated that it is displayed on the silver Volvo due to the vehicle being fixed and she did not want it to get towed. After speaking to both Ms. Jefferson and Mr. Autrey, parties stated that they give suspect information to Cleveland PD. Parties stated that when the vehicle was reported stolen, they gave a list of what was inside of the vehicle to Cleveland PD and described the inside which matched the vehicle that police were out with. Mr. Autrey stated that he was aware of where the vehicle was due to him knowing that the suspect frequents this location. No suspects were present while police were on scene. Ms. Jefferson did not have keys on scene. The vehicle was towed by Mostellers. Nothing further at this time.

Mr. Branner, though talking to himself, was able to give me his personal information. Mr. Branner informed me he is from Rhea County however is currently homeless in the area. Fire Engine 22 and EMS Medic 4 responded for medical call. Engine 22 had to force open the door to get to Ms. Philips bending the dead bolt, doorframe and door. I was able to bend the deadbolt enough to allow the door to close but it did not function and will need to be replaced. Ms. Philips refused to be transported by EMS. Nothing further at this time.

On 10/07/2021 at 21:32 hours, Officer S Martin (78348) responded to a Theft at Fuji, 2207 Overnite Dr. It was reported that an employee's phone was stolen. I spoke with the victim, Fortunato Zanata, and other employees, and I learned the following information. The stolen phone was a gold Samsung S9, estimated to be valued at approximately $400-500. The stolen cellphonewas left unattended in an employee area of the restaurant. I was allowed to view security camera footage of the incident. The suspect entered the building through the back door, which was left open. The suspect grabbed the phone and then fled. The suspect appears to be Taylor Poe, a homeless party who is known to frequent the area. Further investigation will follow before charges are sought.

On 10/08/2021 at 12:51 hours, Officer Branam (70776) reported a memo at 4711 Brainerd Rd. The caller, Ernest Horton, stated that he defecated in their toilet to the point in which it was no longer operational. Because of this, he stated that the station attendant refused to sell him cigarettes unless he retrieved his personal toilet plunger from his home and fix their toilet.

I then spoke to Ms. Paula Nelson (CSL Leader, Mapco Express). She stated that Mr. Horton used their public restroom which resulted in it being a hazard for the store. She stated that he came out of the bathroom laughing and she chose to not sale him cigarettes. She stated that she would like Mr. Horton trespassed from the property.

I explained to Mr. Horton that he has been trespassed and that he must vacate their property. He did so without further incident.

On 10/08/2021 at 11:13 hours, PIT McMahan (61444) reported a memo after calling Aileen Young at 7490 Lee Hwy at Sunoco gas station. I spoke to Ms Young over the phone who said she bought a used car and then let her Son drive it. She said she hadput a tag (plate) on it that belongs to another vehicle she owns. He was later stopped by police for not having the correct license plate this past Sunday at the Sunoco and an officer Hazen seized the tag as evidence. She said she did not have a badge number for the officer. She said the dealership she bought the car from then went and got the car because she had only paid a little money on it so far and it was towed back to the dealer property. On 10/08/2021 at approximately 16:25 hours, Officer Andrew Serret (79886) responded to a Property Found at 607 W 14th Street Ct. Upon arrival, I spoke with the RP; Jackie Lockridge. Jackie stated some parties had been staying with him but weren't any longer. These parties left a wallet and piece of mail behind. Due to this, Jackie turned this property over to police. It will be turned into property under this complaint number for safe keeping. Jackie also recently sustained a broken window that he believes pertains to a stolen bicycle that his neighbors took. Jackie was informed he would need to go through CHA management to get hiwindow replaced. At this time, there is no suspect information on the vandalism.

Upon arrival, police met with Ms. Davis. She stated she came to the office to get her power bill check and asked to speak with Ms. Camp. She stated she walked back to her apartment and calledMs. Camp since she did not answer the office door. She stated she then came down again to get her check and went back to her apartment to find an eviction letter on her door. Police met with Ms. Camp. She stated that Ms. Davis came to get her check and then called to cuss her out over the eviction notice and then came down to the office and beat on the door to get Ms. Camp to come out and talk to her. Ms. Camp called the courtesy officer over who called CPD. No crime had been committed and both parties were sent on their way.

Upon arrival, I spoke to employee Joseph Blair who stated a black male with blonde hair wearing a track jacket with skinny jeans, entered the store and was yelling you don't have no chips in here. Mr. Blair told the male "yes they are on the rack in front of you". He stated the male then grabbed a bag of Funyons worth approx. $5.00 attempted to conceal them as he walked out the entrance of the store. The male then reentered and started cussing in the store and left a second time. While the male was in the parking lot customers were entering the store saying the male was in the parking lot cussing at them. I searched the area for the male and was unable to locate him. Video footage was not able to be viewed at this time. No further.

Police stopped the vehicle and made contact with William Jones (driver), Elliot Scott, and Josh Kinard. The parties stated that they had a hotel room here and were planning on staying there for several more days due to their house having caught fire. Mr. Scott and Jones provided proper identification and proof of financial responsibility, but Mr. Kinard had no ID on him. His information was confirmed through query and the involved parties were given a warning. No further.

They stated the male party then walked out of the store with various item without paying for or discarding the items. Police searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. Dollar tree stated it is unknown what items were taken at this time but would update once items were identified.

Mr. Drew stated it was a grey Chevy Impala with no tag on it. Mr. Drew stated the male was wearing a gray sweater as well. I had Mr. Drew check the Facebook profile but he was already blocked from the profile, no further info at this time.

The police did a background check on Mr. Stone and found he had an active warrant in Georgia for possession of marijuana, but the will not extradite him at this time.

Police were dispatched to LKQ Pick a Part at 400 Workman Rd. Police were notified by staff that an unidentified black male attempting to sell the stolen vehicle to them. The staff ran the VIN for the vehicle and informed the suspect that they could not take the vehicle because it was reported stolen. The male left the scene in the vehicle after being informed it was stolen. The suspect had already left the scene prior to police arrival. The staff believes they have purchased a vehicle from the suspect beforeand are going to attempt to find his information. No further at this time.

I spoke to Brian over the phone who said that he works as Superintendent for Collier Construction who currently ownsthe residence there, which is under construction. He said there was new pallet of light fixtures sitting in the garage and they were taken sometime within the last week. He said there are workers in and out of there 6 days a week and the residence is unsecured because they are not able to get the garage doors closed at this time. He believes the estimated value of items taken is around $2000 but he may call back to update the report once he gets an exact value.

On 10/12/2021 at 16:30 hours, Officer Ziegler (83701) responded to a Credit Card/ATM Fraud at 1409 Market St. Mr. Waleed stated that his credit card had been used at the Kinely and he did not stay there. The credit card was used for $916.41 for five nights. Police went to the Hotel to obtain camera footage. Police were able to get the footage and a name of the potential suspect(Tiffany Daniels) but do not know a date of birth to identify the party. Mr. Waleed wishes to press charges against the party when we identify her. Mr. Waleed also stated his card was used for purchases on seek.com. A picture of the suspect was sent to CPD personnel to identify the female. Police will continue to investigate. The report will also be sent to the fraud division.

On 10/07/2021 at 03:20 hours, Officer D. Johnston (83688) responded to a Damaged Property Accidental at 18160 Interstate 24 Eb. I made contact with the complainant, Ms. Joyce Musick, who stated while traveling EB at the above location, an 18-wheeler flipped on the WB sound of the interstate. This wreck (from complaint #21-107591) caused debris to fly over the median and into the EB lanes of Hwy 24. Ms. Musick was unable to avoid the debris as her vehicle ran over what she believes was a piece of concrete. As a result, her tire became flat and caused her to have her vehicle towed off of the highway. Dispatch received multiplecalls concerning the debris on the EB side of the highway that Ms. Musick was referencing. Nothing further at this time.
