The Dangerous of Using Drugs

Everybody must pay attention of drugs. Drugs are very dangerous for us. Why it is very dangerous for

us? Because its can caused harm to our body.

In terms of health, many organs in our body can be harm because using drug. In general, the impact of

using drug are can unconscious, make us hallucinate, can harm our nerve, and cause addictive effect.

Beside that, using drugs can make the users depressed, liver disease, schizophrenia, blockage of blood

vessels, dehydration, optic nerve damage, brain damage, and finally it can cause DEATH!

When viewed in terms of Islamic law, drugs are forbidden. Because it is cause badness, self harm,

debilitate. And Islam proscribes all that can cause badness, self harm because it is included zhalim. Also

if we using drugs, it means we already do the forbidden things in Islam, it means we sin. So, in terms of

Islamic law, using drugs also dangerous.

Furthermore, if the users of drugs are teenagers, it can endanger their future, and endanger their

homeland, their country. From the data, 32 percent of drugs users in Indonesia are teenagers, so, if

many teenagers in this case Indonesia- use drugs, it can be endanger this country, harm youth

generation, whereas youths are nation expectation. If the youth using drugs, our nation can be destroy!

So, from now on we must pay attention of drugs, because its very dangerous, both in terms of health,

religion (Islam), nationality and state

Angry passengers stage sit-in on plane

Angry passengers staged a sit-on a Batavia Airplane following a delay at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport on Friday. Airport administrator Herry Bakti said theincident occurred at about 6 p.m. Dozens of passengers going to Jambi, who weresupposed to depart at 2 p.m, entered a Batavia Airplane that was scheduled to flyto Denpansar. They reportedly staged the sit-in to press their demand forcompesation from Batavia Air for their delayed flight. ³The plane was supposed tofly at 2:05 p.m., but the plane is having trouble with the weather radar. So theywill be transported aboard another plane at 8:15 p.m´, Batavia Air generalmanager Dexter Leopard said as quoted by kompas.com. He said after thepassengers were convinced they would get another plane to Jambi, they left theDenpasar-bound plane. ± JP

-NARATIVE

"Lutung Kasarung" PRABU Tapa Agung was an old king. He had two daughters, Purbararang and Purbasari. Prabu

Tapa Agung planned to retire as a king. He wanted Purbasari to replace him as the leader of the

kingdom.

Hearing this, Purbararang was angry. "You cannot ask her to be the queen, Father. I'm older

than she is. It's supposed to be me, not her!" said Purbararang. But the king still chose

Purbasari to be the next queen. Purbararang then set a bad plan with her fiance, Indrajaya.

Together they went to a witch and asked her to put a spell on Purbasari. Later, Purbasari had

bad skin. There were black dots all over her body. "You are not as beautiful as I am. You cannot

be the queen. Instead, you have to leave this palace and stay in a jungle," said Purbararang.

Purbasari was very sad. Now she had to stay in the jungle. Everyday she spent her time playing

with some animals there.

There was one monkey that always tried to cheer her up. It was not just an ordinary monkey, he

had magical power. And he also could talk with humans. The monkey's name was Lutung

Kasarung. He was actually a god. His name was Sanghyang Gurumina.

Lutung Kasarung planned to help Purbasari. He made a small lake and asked her to take a bath

there. Amazingly, her bad skin was cured. Now she got her beautiful skin back. After that, she

asked Lutung Kasarung to accompany her to go back to the palace.

Purbararang was very shocked. She knew she had to come up with another bad idea. She thensaid, "Those who have longer hair will be the queen." The king then measured his daughters'

hair. Purbasari had longer hair. But Purbararang did not give up. "A queen must have a

handsome husband. If my fiance is more handsome than yours, then I will be the queen," said

Purbararang.

Purbasari was sad. She knew Purbararang's fiance, Indrajaya, was handsome. And she did not

have a fiance yet. "Here is my fiancé, Indrajaya. Where is yours?" asked Purbararang. Lutung

Kasarung came forward. Purbararang was laughing very hard. "Your fiance is a monkey, ha ha

ha." Suddenly, Lutung Kasarung changed into a very a handsome man. He was even more

handsome than Indrajaya.

Purbasari then became the queen. She forgave Purbararang and her fiance and let them stay in

the palace.

Dear sir,

We have writing this letter to you because we are concerned about education quality of SMAN 1

Welahan.

To improve the students quality in language learning, we need language laboratory.

As we know, two of the subjects given on the national final examination are Bahasa Indonesia and

English. Especially on English, there is listening comprehension section on the test. Students should be

prepared to do listening test and one of the instruments needed is language laboratory.

Actually we have tape recorder to teach listening, but it is a matter of problem since the teacher must

bring tape recorder, wire, cassette and other material from class to class. It wastes of energy and time.

Teachers are busy on preparing instruments. If we have language laboratory, teacher can prepare the

material of lesson without disturbing preparing the instruments.

Furthermore, language laboratory is not only used by English lesson, but also can be used by any

language lessons. There are four language lessons in SMANELA, they are Bahasa Indonesia, English,

Arabic and Bahasa Jawa. Those teachers can use language laboratory when teaching and it is very useful

for students.
