TUGAS MERANCANG KAPAL II FULL CONTAINER 504 TEUs YOGA DWI SAPUTRA - 2013310019 62 5.5 Perhitungan dan Perencanaan Tangki (Capacity Tank) Perhitungan kapasitas ruang muat tangki, berguna untuk mengetahui volume setiap ruang muat tangki, sehingga besarnya volume tiap-tiap tangki sesuai dengan kebutuhan bahan bakar, air tawar, dan minyak pelumas yang telah diperkirakan pada perencanaan awal. Perhitungan ini juga berfungsi untuk memperhitungkan besarnya volume dari tangki-tangki ballast yang berfungsi untuk menyeimbangkan kapal. Untuk penyimpanan bakar bakar, minyak lumas, dan air tawar digunakan tangki tangki yang meliputi dasar ganda, ceruk buritan, dan ceruk haluan. Dimana cara pengerjaan Capacity Plan ini dicari dengan menggunakan half breath yang kemudian dikalikan ke faktor simpson. Adapaun beberapa perhitungan volume- volume tangki tersebut seperti dalam perencanaan berikut ini : 1. Weight of Diesel Oil (WdO) yang sudah dihitung sebelumnya adalah sebesar 55 Ton. Massa jenis minyak (γminyak) = 0.85 Ton/m 3 Jadi volume tangki yang diperlukan : V = WdO / γ = 55 0.85 V = 64.705 m 3 2. Weight Lubrication Oil (WLO) yang sudah dihitung sebelumnya adalah sebesar 2.2 Ton. Massa jenis pelumas (γpelumas) = 0.90 Ton/m 3 . Jadi volume tangki yang diperlukan : V = WLO / γ = 2.2 0.90 V = 2.444 m 3 3. Weight of Fresh Water (WFW) yang sudah dihitung sebelumnya adalah sebesar 33 Ton. Massa jenis air tawar (γair tawar ) = 1.00 Ton/m 3 .

5.5 Perhitungan dan Perencanaan Tangki (Capacity Tank)

Perhitungan kapasitas ruang muat tangki, berguna untuk mengetahui

volume setiap ruang muat tangki, sehingga besarnya volume tiap-tiap tangki sesuai

dengan kebutuhan bahan bakar, air tawar, dan minyak pelumas yang telah

diperkirakan pada perencanaan awal. Perhitungan ini juga berfungsi untuk

memperhitungkan besarnya volume dari tangki-tangki ballast yang berfungsi untuk

menyeimbangkan kapal.

Untuk penyimpanan bakar bakar, minyak lumas, dan air tawar digunakan

tangki – tangki yang meliputi dasar ganda, ceruk buritan, dan ceruk haluan. Dimana

cara pengerjaan Capacity Plan ini dicari dengan menggunakan half breath yang

kemudian dikalikan ke faktor simpson. Adapaun beberapa perhitungan volume-

volume tangki tersebut seperti dalam perencanaan berikut ini :

1. Weight of Diesel Oil (WdO) yang sudah dihitung sebelumnya adalah sebesar

55 Ton.

Massa jenis minyak (γminyak) = 0.85 Ton/m3

Jadi volume tangki yang diperlukan :

V = WdO / γ

= 55

0.85

V = 64.705 m3

2. Weight Lubrication Oil (WLO) yang sudah dihitung sebelumnya adalah

sebesar 2.2 Ton.

Massa jenis pelumas (γpelumas) = 0.90 Ton/m3.

Jadi volume tangki yang diperlukan :

V = WLO / γ

= 2.2

0.90

V = 2.444 m3

3. Weight of Fresh Water (WFW) yang sudah dihitung sebelumnya adalah

sebesar 33 Ton.

Massa jenis air tawar (γair tawar) = 1.00 Ton/m3.

sebesar 1478 Ton.

Massa jenis air laut (γair laut ) =1.025 Ton/m3

Jadi volume tanki yang di perlukan :
